Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

This research is to explain about Pedagogic Competence of Art and Culture Teacher in SMAN 3 Kota Pariaman. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive analytical approach. The location ofthis research is in SMAN 3 Kota Pariaman, in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Technique of collecting research data is using instrument of interview and observation. Based on result of the research that has been done can be concluded that the pedagogic competence of art and culture teacher in SMAN 3 Pariaman City is classified as "Good", It means that Art Culture Teacher in SMAN 3 Pariaman City has been able to do strategy or good learning method in accordance with the component of pedagogic competence in understanding the characteristics Learners, master theories of learning, develop curriculum/syllabus, organize educational learning, develop the potential of learners, and can evaluate the learners' learning outcomes. AbstractThis article the aim to investigate the implementation of cooperative learning strategy in grade X5 in learning dance at SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung Dharmasraya District.This research wa a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The objects of this research were student in X5 in SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung which consisted of 26 students. The instruments of this research were the researcher as the observer and several aids such as observation sheet and learning outcome instrument. The data were collected through observation, documentation, and achievement test, furthermore, the data were collected by using data analysis techniques to select and analyze its validity. Findings of this research indicate that the implementation of cooperative learning strategy in SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung was effective and succesful during 2 cycles with 6 meeting each. Student were motivated to learn it could be seen from the learning goals of traditional dance that had been acheved in the aspects of physical, rhytim and sense assessment. The average score of students learning outcomes in cycle I was 68,8and it increased in cycle II which was 87,5. It can be said that this research was conducted well since the use of cooperative learning strategyin learning dance at SMA N 1 Pulau Punjung Dharmasraya District improved students’ ability in Galombang motion.Keywords: Learning outcomes, Method, Dance

The purpose of this work was to narrate the author's life story by using a violin as the instrument. It told about the author's love of this cord instrument. Through the work of "My Story" the author expressed various kinds of feelings such as sadness, happiness, joy, anger, and disappointment through music composition. This work was played by 4 music players (quartet) with classical music style. They consisted of one violinist, one viola player, one flutist and one classical guitarist. The music composition in this work used the form of rondo composition. This composition emphasized circular circles of repetitions of sentences in the song. The first theme was played; after that, the second theme was introduced and developed. Before the third theme came up, the composition reverted to the first theme and it ended in the first theme after going through an unexpected third theme. AbstractThis article the aim of the explain was to find out and describe the students’ learning activities at dance and teachers strategy in the learning process for 8th grade student at SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kecamatan Siulak Mukai. This was a qualitative research by using descriptive methods. The object of the research owas the strategy that the teacher used in dance lesson for 8th grade students with a total amount of students was 17, consists of 9 boys and 8 girls. The researcher was the primary instrument in the research by directly observed the learning process of the dance at 8th SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kecamatan Siulak Mukai. The collection of the data were a library research, observation, documentation, and an interview. The result of the research shows that the learning process of the dance at 8th grade SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kecamatan Siulak Mukai has not reach a maximum result of the learning process. The teacher has not properly use the strategy of teaching. Moreover, the teacher methods and the materials is not interesting. Teacher only uses LKS (Student’s Book Work) in the learning process. As the result, the student is deficient motivation and the learning process is monotonous. These problems impact towards students learning result, where the lowest KKM (minimum indicator score) at 75,00, but the average score of the students at 8th grade is 73,52 or below the minimum indicator score.Keywords: Strategy, Learning, Dance.

This article aims to determine whether by giving high touch aspects in the learning process can improve student learning outcomes. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), which aims to improve the learning process to improve student learning outcomes in class VIII 9 SMP Negeri 13 Padang. The object of research in this research is the students of class VIII 9 SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Sources of data in this study is the process and the results of the action is done that is giving high touch aspects on the learning process on the students of class VIII 9 in SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, literature study and documentation. The results showed that the giving of aspects in the process of learning art and culture (music) in class VIII 9 SMP Negeri 13 Padang gave positive results to the students. Student learning outcomes increase as well as students appreciate teachers in the learning process. Unexpected behavior is no longer shown by the student. This research is intended to analyze “Bunda” song written by Melly Goeslaw in terms of song structure and melody composition. This research is categorized into qualitative study conducted by applying content analysis approach. The theories used to analize the data were those related to melody structures, melody composition, and song forms. The data were obtained through documentation study, library study, and lab work. The results of the research reveal that “Bunda” song has combination of strong and faint taps and uses stepping and jumping style. It has 90 tempo with 4/4 cadence. The musical cord used is major and the dominant interval is seconded. This song has 12 ranges of musical notes. The formulation of the melody is the combination of rising, flattening, and lessening melodies. The progressing accords applied were not only the basic accords but also the connecting ones that could bridge the move from the basic accord. This movement makes the song flow and sway smoothly. “Bunda” song has 2 basic motives, 15 developed motives, 4 antecedent phrases, and 5 consequent phrases. The song has two forms; A and B. The melody and the lyrics are dominantly in the form of syllabic. This song is classified into Logogenic (text- focused). The song comprises of several major accords, namely tonica, supertonica, subdominant, sub-median, and connecting accords (median and dominant). “Bunda” song has two cadences including the Perfect Authentic Cadence and The Authentic Half Cadence. Although the song has melismatic and neumatic forms, it is dominated by syllabic form. Key word: Analysis, Song Structures, “Bunda” Song.

AbstractThis article the aim to describe the improvement of children’s motor skills through fun activities, that is audio stimulation. This research was based on the fact that childreen’s had low motor skills. This was due to the lack of creativity and strategy from teachers in creating an activity to develop children’s motor. This research was a Clasroom Action Research (PTK) which took 20 people, 9 boys and 11 girls, as the subject of this research. The techniques of data collection used were observation and documentation. It was conducted in two cycles. Cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II was conducted in three meetings. In cycle I, the percentage of the average score of children with good category was thirty-nine percent, while in cycle II, the percentage of the average score of children increased to eighty-five percent. The result of this research showed that the average percentage of children’s motor skills trough audio stimulation increased from 39% in cycle I to 85% cycle II. Abstract This article aims to describe how the extratracular activities conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. Extracurricular is an additional activity for students who are held outside the appointed hours of instruction. The type of research used is qualitative research using descriptive method. The object of this research is the process of extracurricular activities of gandang tambua in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The main instrument is the researcher. This study uses several tools in the field data collection such as stationery and photo cameras. For data collection the authors do literature study, observation and interviews. The results showed that the implementation of extracurricular gandang tambua in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman done by forming a group of each group consisting of 5orang students, where the training process carried out practically in the room and outside the classroom . To explore the ability that the students themselves in playing the gandang tambua musical instrument, the teacher schedules 7 meetings. From 7 times of meetings, teachers more often use demonstration methods in delivering the material. Keywords: Implementation, Extracurricular, Gandang Tambua

AbstractThis research aims to describe students’ motivation in recorder music learning process and the increasing learning activity in recorder music learning process in SMP Negeri 2 Kapur IX. The design of this research was qualitative-descriptive analysis. Research object was seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Kapur IX. The number of students was 32 students. The data was collected by using interview, observation, library research and photograph. The result showed that applying demonstration method in learning ensemble music could increase the learning activity in seven grade SMP Negeri 2 Kapur IX. Based on lesson plan which already arranged and applied in learning process. There were six meetings. Researcher got result 1) Paying attention on teachers’ explanation increased from 70% to 74%. 2) Note-taking activity had significant increased from 60% to 92%. 3) Self-practice activity also increased from 48% to 81%. 4) Musical note reading activity also had significant increased fro 29% to 70%.Key words: motivation, activity, learning process

AbstractThis research aims to find out and to describe the Tor-Tor dance in tradisional funeral ceremony saur matua in batak society at Pematang Siantar.This research was qualitative research. The object of the research was Tor-Tor dance in funeral ceremony in batak society at Pematang Siantar ciry. The instrument was the researcher herself with stationary,camera photo and handy camera. The data of this research were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through library research, observation, interview, and documents. The collected data based on conceptual framework and were analyzed accurately and sistematicaly.The result shows that Tor-Tor dance in the funeral ceremony Saur Matua in batak society at Pematang Siantar up to 2017 has the same movements. All thye movements are the same with the original one. Tor – Tor is a part of ceremony aims to honor the death of old people especially the parents.Keyword: : Persentation Form, Tor-Tor
