Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know about: history, iconography and function Bhairava statue in the kingdom of Dharmasraya. Type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data source is where the data subject is obtained, (1) at the museum replica statue of Bhairava Adityawarman Padang, (2) where is placed the statue of Bhairava the National Museum in Jakarta. (3) place of found that is in Dharmasraya Bhairava statue. The data source is the data obtained through interviews and written documents search. Analysis data collection in accordance with the descriptive data processing techniques, describes the phenomenon as it is written in narrative form, which was obtained through field observations undertaken in Bhairava statue. Kata kunci: Sejarah, Ikonografi, Fungsi

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to determine : internal and external factors that become obstacles in completing the thesis student of visual arts Education Program FBS UNP. Type of research is a quantitative study using descriptive with 37 people as the sample. Data sources of this study are 2007 and 2008 students of visual arts education program FBS UNP who enrolled in thesis course in january-june 2013. Research findings of internal and external factors with seven indicators and enviromental factors as the highest factor in 56.8% percentage, motivation 54.1%, intelligence and parental factor in 51.4%, interest and discipline in 48.6% and the last is creativity in 40.5%. those all are in the high category. Key words : Obstacles in completing, Thesis

Abstract

One way to improve student achievement in creative learning activities art is the use of experimental methods. This study aims to determine the extent to which improving student achievement in the creative arts after using experimentalmethods in learning activities. The subjects were students of class VII A SMP Negeri 24 Kabupaten Tebo in Academic Year 2012/2013. This research is a class action research (CAR), and performed in 2 cycles. The results showed an increase in student achievement. Improved achievement is evident from the increased experimental methods learning activity such as following the process, his own experience, experimenting, observing the process and results, gain the experienceto experiment, carry out the work according to the procedures and collect assignments on time. Improved achievement can be seen from the mastery of achievement increased from an average of 55% in cycle 1 increased to 100% in cycle 2. This increase can not be separated from the students' understanding of learning materials and implement the learning process with the experimental method. It can be concluded that the experimental method of learning canimprove student learning activities and thus can improve student achievement. Key words : Achievement, Experimental Method.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know if there any relationship between students „creativity to students‟ achievement in Visual Communication Design program and to know the significance of its relationship. This is correlation research. The prior data was got from questionnaire that had been indicated students‟ creativity. The secondary data was got from the students‟ achievement in sample group. The data was analyzed by using SPSS version 18. The finding shown that there is significance relationship in the number of 0,466 and the students‟ creativity gave positive contribution in the number of 20,3% to students‟ achievement in grade XI of Visual Communication Design program. Kata kunci: Kreativitas, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

The aim of this research is to: 1) describe the basic concepts of Studio Songket ErikaRianti revitalization motifs, 2) describe the revitalization process of Studio Songket ErikaRianti weaving techniques, 3) describe the Studio Songket ErikaRianti dyeing process, 4) classify the Studio Songket ErikaRianti songket products of revitalization. This research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data source of this research is, the primary data in the form of testimony from Studio Songket ErikaRianti and secondary data in the form of writing and literature reference library. Data were collected by means of observation, interviews, documentation and reference collection. Research findings that there are several stages in the process of revitalization of the ancient Minangkabau songket in the form of Studio Songket ErikaRianti revitalization motifs, techniques of weaving, dyeing process and product of revitalization.Kata kunci: process, revitalization, songket, antique, Minangkabau

Abstract

Ekspresi wajah merupakan cara seseorang untuk mengungkapkanperasaan, semua yang dirasakan di dalam hati akan tergambar secara otomatispada wajah. Bentuk gambaran ekspresi wajah dikemas dalam karya keramikdengan judul: 1), “Ternyata Dalam Selimut”, 2), “Pangeran Katak”, 3),“Sisi Sunyi Dirinya”, 4), “Kosong”, 5), “2-Sejoli”, 6), “Takut”, 7), “…..”.Karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksplorasi tentangekspresi wajah dan menvisualisasikan berbagai macam bahasa ungkapkedalam bentuk tiga dimensi salah satunya seni keramik.Selanjutnya dalam karya akhir ini, penulis lebih mengutamakan potretberbagai macam ekspresi wajah manusia seperti wajah marah, senyum,menangis, ketakutan, kesakitan, dan kamuflase perasaan yang kemudian akandikemas dalam karya keramikdengan menonjolkan sisi ekspresi danmengekplorasi semua kemungkinan bentuk tanpa menghilangkan karakterasli wajah. Pada ketujuh karya akhir ini menampilkan berbagai macambahasa ungkap wajah manusia.Kata kunci : Ekspresi Wajah, Ekspresionis.

Abstract

Mosquitoes are the types of animals that people complain about, where mosquitoes are a nuisance animal, who preyed on human blood. This work aims at knowledge of mosquito that can be said, like a mosquito to human interaction phenomena, nature and the Creator. This work is visualized in a variety of mosquito occurrence in everyday life with the contemporary style of painting. In this final masterpiece the author prefers objects with lots of mosquitoes using a flat background. Mosquito objects as subject matter deliberately fox author, not like the original because that's where the author plays ideas and concepts work. The author is not too much to fill the empty space in the background which become habits authors paint. Key word: mosquito, Contemporary

Abstract

This study aim to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes for subjects woven skill in eight grade 1 SMP Negeri 32 Padang used Peer Tutor. The data in this study were collected using the research instrument and observation sheet. To see the change in students’ learning activities in the two cycles are cycles I and II. The study involved students of class VIII.1, 30 in total. Data obtained and analyzed using  percentages. The study findings suggest that the increase in learning outcomes significantly makramé skills, it can be seen from the averae pre-cycle 69.50 to 71.16 at the first cycle. At the second cycle also showed an average increase of 77.83. it can be conclude that the peer teaching method can improve learning outcomes woven skills eight grade 1 students at junior high school 32 padang. Key words : Peer Teaching Method to Improve Learning  Outcomes Macrame

Abstract

The purposes of research is to know intern factor and exstern factor that to influence the spint of student study in learning process visual art sub study visual art. The subject of research is kualitatif research with descriptif. The technique to find database is observation, interview, ang angket kuisoner. Research of find this coold resume on observation result, interview, and angket kuisoner, intern factor study is very well degree, can saw on behaviour, seriously, and activation students, then exstern factor students too degree well, well from social or then non social students. Keyword : Motivation, Intern Factor, Extern Factor.
