The porpuses to explores the lives of the leaders with an umbrella metaphor, in daily life into the work of Surealis painting. Here umbrella related to leadership style, government, and politics, while the umbrella in the metaphor right into leadership. While many leaders who abuse their powers so that a leader is able to do whatever he wants even do crime and corruption. The mekhod of creation work art are, preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realitation and completion. The purpose of this study are: (1) describe the process of processing of natural materials; (2) describe how the process; (3) describe the natural colors produced batik studio Two Women Sub Jelmu Pelayangan District of the city of Jambi. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive research. The research subject is the founder of the studio Two Women, owners and workers, cultural and natural color batik observers Jambi. Shaped research data written records, recordings, interviews, and documentation of natural batik production studio Two Women. Research findings that the processing of natural materials for dyeing batik must use fresh ingredients. Staining process must be soaked evenly so that the color obtained average. This research is constituted by, lack of information and knowledge society, especially in Ampek Angkekon the shape of ornamental motifs, techniques, and product shape ribbon on a patchwork effort F + M Creative. The purpose of this study was to: Describe 1) decorative motif 2) techniques 3) the product shape ribbon on a patchwork effort F + M Creative. The theory used is the theory of culture, embroidery, ribbon embroidery, motifs, techniques and forms. This study used a qualitative method with descriptive approach. Research Location in Aia Tabik, Ampang Gadang, Ampek Angkek, Agam. Subjects were informants who know about the ribbon. Source data contains data written records, image recording, and literature study.The results showed that the decorative motif ribbon embroidery on embroidery business F + M Creative sourced from flora and geometric shapes. The names of the motive, namely: marigolds flower ornamental motifs, decorative motif chrysanthemums, roses and ornamental motifs. Ribbon embroidery technique using the techniques: chain stitc, leaf stitch, spider web rose, french knots, puncture flying stitch, chain knots, baste skewers, and a chain stitch. Forms of manufactured products: the veil, mukenah, clothes, handbags, brooches hijab, cornertable mats, towels, seat cushions and tablecloth. Conclusion decorative motifs embroidered effort F + M Creative sourced from flora and geometric. Technique: chain stitch, leaf stitch, spider web rose, french knots, puncture flying stitch, chain knots, baste skewers, and a chain stitch. Product form: the veil, clothes, handbags, brooches hijab, corner table mats, towels, seat cushions and tablecloths.Keyword: Ribbon Embroidery

This study aim to determine the forms menhir, knowing decorative motifs found on the walls of the menhirs, interpret the direction of menhir and to know the meaning of the menhir. Subjects in this research are menhirs in KenagarianMaek. While the method used is qualitative research with descriptive approach. Descriptive method is used to describe the study of phenomena that are on the subject of research produced in the form of words, pictures, not numbers. The datacollecting technique is observation, communication (interview), and documentation. All the data obtained through stages of verification and presentation of data reduction, data analysis, and then concluded. In order to check the validity of the data, the test triangulation is conducted. Based on the processing and analysis of data, the findings are obtained as follows: 1). Form of menhirs in Kenagarian Maek diverse, like forms of animals and the handle of the knife. 2) Motif contained in megalith heritage of menhir in Kenagarian Maek are motifs form kaluak paku, Pucuak Rabuang, kuciang Lalok and pilin duo. 3).Direction of the menhir leads to a plateau of Mount Sago.

Viewpoint is to see something, mean something to others by thinking. Every man is not free from problems, in everyday life we can see how the perspective of each person is different. The goal is to create or visualize paintings with the object of human figures through paintings by contemporary realist technique. This thesis was made through five stages, namely preparation phase (exploration), phase penetepan ideas (elaboration), the synthesis, the realization of the concept and stages of completion. The work achieved by the title of neglect, loneliness, lying, excellence, just us, compassion, and entangled. The work achieved by the title of the mirror, the light spot, blur, guns life, race, selfish, views, wasted, masks, limited eye. The title is taken from a condition that occurs in this current era. This work is made manually producing work that is unique and has artistic value that can be used to beautify the room. I hope these ideas and techniques can be developed by writers or other writers in the future.Kata kunci: Seni Lukis, Sudut Pandang, Kontemporer

The aim is to create a wall decoration craft objects praying mantis through batik and embroidery techniques. The work is titled ruler, energetic, graceful, wise, vigilant, resolute, and tranquility. The title is taken from human nature, the author connects with human locusts as this final simbol.Karya through five stages, namely preparation phase (exploration), phase zoning ideas (elaboration), synthesis, concept and realization stages of completion. This work is done manually, resulting in a unique piece of art and has a value that can be used to embellish ruangan. My it happen ideas and techniques can be developed by the author or other authors in the future.

The purpose of this thorough to understand that there is an influence of using tutorial video media to the result of art and culture in art lesson at grade X in Senior High School 1 Sawahlunto. The kind of thorough that used is experiment by interpretation score of pre-test and pos-test and then by technique interpretation encode for processing Purposive Sampling. This encode for processing collected by the test in the result of lesson. Finding in this thorough showing that : the result of student’s in the lesson by using tutorial video media is better, just than with students who teached without using a simple media. That’s mean using tutorial video media needed to all of students for improving the result of students in the lesson specially for art and culture lesson in art at Senior High School 1 Sawahlunto.Keywords: Tutorial Video Media

The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the journey of art Herisman Tojes (2) to explain the process of art Herisman Tojes. This study utilized the theoretical basis as explanatory material and guides the focus of research is the understanding of art, understanding the artist, the understanding of art, the notion of painting, as well as the connection between art and society. The data source of this research is the source of verbal spoken directly by the informant. Data collection procedures performed are observation, interviews, and documentation. This thesis aims to visualize the condition of divorce in a surrealist painting, to increase people's appreciation of the importance of keeping the family intact. Embodiments of surrealist painting dominating form elements, atmosphere and expression between the subject mater to support the object through the medium of acrylic on canvas in the style surrealism. Methods and steps in the process begins with the preparation, elaboration, synthesis, the realization the concept going to presented to public through exhibitions. This work provides information to the general public picture of viewpoints contained in the phenomenon of divorce or divorce as a social standpoint, law and religion are illustrated through 10 (ten) title surrealist painting style.Kata Kunci: Korban Talak, Seni Lukis, Surrealis
