This thesis aims to visualize the moral message of folklore in Riau through ontemporary realist paintingto be used aspreservation of cultural and moral education for human life. The method of creating art works starting from the preparation, elaboration, then synthesis, namely, conducting elections moral message of folklore in Riau as Batang Tuaka, Batu belah batu batangkup, Putri Kuning, Putri Mambang Linau and Bujang Buta. The purpose of the creation of this final work is to visualize the moral values contained in the form of maternal love through the expression of contemporary realist art. The method of creating artwork, using five stages of preparation, elaboration, synthesis, realization of concepts and completion and exhibition. Using acrylic paint on canvas with brushstrokes technique and using colors that match the object. Ten works are made to represent a theme that tells the story of a portrait of mother's love that prioritizes careers and searching for material as much as possible, to forget the duties and obligations to care, nurture, and supervise his children.Keywords: Mother's Love, Painting, Contemporary Realist

The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes subjectsmedia campaign indoor through the use of visual media Prezi class XII student of SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with the use of visual media DKV Prezi in class XII SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman. The experiment was conducted as many as two cycles, means of data collection using observation sheet teacher, student observation sheet and format of learning outcomes assessment, data is processed using a percentage formula. The results of data processing showed an increase learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle of learning 70.50 and the second cycle increased 80.33. Obtaining the results of study showed significant improvement. It was concluded that the use of visual media Prezi can improve student learning outcomes.

This final work aims to visualize the symbols of Minangkabau in painting, with the aim of learning to get to know more about Minangkabau culture that should be deserved to be preserved. The embodiment of the painting displays characters or objects that represent the theme or in accordance with the concept of the author's work. Methods and steps in the process of cultivation work begins with preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization until presented to the public through the exhibition. This final work gives sensitivity to the community of art lovers to Minangkabau culture in the form of values contained depth which is depicted through 10 (ten) titles of painting.Kata Kunci: Simbol-Simbol Minangkabau, Seni Lukis

This research aims to understand the influence of audio visual media to the result of learning pottery crafting in SMK Negeri 8 Padang. This research tested the hypothesis to know is there a significant difference in the result of learning pottery crafting taught by using audio visual media and conventional media. The population is all of the pottery crafting students. The sample is the students of class XI pottery crafting. The technique of sampling is purposive sampling. The type of research is quasi experiment with research plan is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The data is collected by testing the learning result. Then, data will be analyzed by using Uji-t.The result shows : the learning result of pottery crafting that has been taught using audio visual media is difference with the result of learning by using conventional media.Based on the result of the research, we can conclude that audio visual media has positive influence towards students’s learning result in pottery crafting subject. Therefore, the audio visual media is really good to use continuosly by the teacher in the learning process in order to improve the students’s learning result specifically in pottery crafting subject in SMK Negeri 8 padang.Keywords : audio visual media, students’s learning result.

The creation of this final work aims at how to visualize human as a person, need to learn from the barrage of effort in understanding the nature of themselves. Interior design is akifitas art and spatial science, aims to create a functional space within the structure of the building. The purpose of design interior design pool company otobus PT. Jambi Putra Sejahtera in Jambi City is to build an effective spatial, and comfortable with aesthetic value that collaborated elements of decorative jambi area. Approach method in this design is the collection of verbal data, and visual, to the field with interviews, documentation, and literature study. After getting the necessary data, the author began to make preparations tobuild an interior design work in the form of a model with a scale of 1:30.The design result as the main idea is the design of the concept, design, lay out spatial, visible image, cut image, detail drawings, and spatial perspective, which completed the presentation model. The scientific contribution of this designcan be expected to build the attraction for the customer and build the image of PT. Jambi Putra Sejahtera in the city of Jambi.Keywords: design, interior, comfortable.
