Abstract

This research havena purposento develop the work creativityof “Seni Rupa” with use contextual approach to student grade VII4 and VII8. The result of this research show that the value average which use contexual apporoach is about 81.33 and the one which use conventional method have value average about 72.90. This is show up that the creativity differences in worksmin the fine art. Independent influence to dependent variable that show that value t count = 4.077 and t table = 2.048 > 0.05 take positive effect to the significant off work in the fine art sector.Keywordn: development,ncreativity,ncontextualnapproach

Abstract

The author's interest in orchids starts with a sense of admiration for their beautiful and elegant flower shapes. However, the authors chose the embroidery technique on the part (background), embroidery on orchids, and patchwork sewing applications on the leaves, because this technique is more interesting to the author's attention. But the main reason is that this technique has never been used by Fine Arts Students in their work. The work produced is titled gentleness, respect, freedom, grandeur, complement, bloom together and prosperity. The orchid is a beautiful flower and is most often used as an ornamental plant at home. Orchids also include types of flowers that have many variants, and their types are scattered throughout the tropics. Orchid flowers can be found growing in forests, in rocks, on land, and growing attached to trees.Keywords: Orchid flowers, embroidery, embroidery and sewing patchwork applications

Abstract

The purpose of the creation of the final work is to visualize Asmaul Husna's calligraphy in carving with wood carving techniques. The methods used are: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and finally completion. At the end of this final work, an exhibition was held. the media used in making this final work is wood. The seven works that were made include: Ar-Rahman, Ar-Raheem, As-Salam, Al-Ghaffar, Ar-Razzaq, Al-Wahhab, Al-Adl, is a theme that was raised from the Compassion of Allah. if you understand and practice Asmaul Husna, you will feel calm in everyone.Keywords: Asmaul Husna, carving, wood carving techniques.

Abstract

The Formulation of the problem in this research is how the Implementation of Craft Sub Craft Material Learning in Adabiah 2 School Class Padang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Which is knowing the Implementation of Class X Craft Sub Adabiah 2 Padang. The method used by the teacher is Problem Basic learning, a Method in Which the teacher provides learning to students related to real problems as a context for student more critical thinking and problem solving skills and gaining knowledge. The media used by teachers in the Implementation of Workshop Learning uses elektronik media such as LCD Projectors, while also using online media such as Smartphone.Keywords: Implementation, Methods, Media, Crafts.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world that has a diversity of flora and fauna. Butterfly is one type of fauna that is widely found in Indonesia, which has a beauty and uniqueness, especially on its wings and metamorphosis which is widely admired by humans. The purpose in making this final work is to visualize the shape, uniqueness and beauty of the butterflies which are then poured into graphic works with the Linolium Cut technique. The manifestation of the work is carried out through several stages, namely: the preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization and completion stages.Keywords: butterflies, beauty, graphics arts

Abstract

Wall clock is one of the indispensable timepieces at home, or institutions such as schools, offices and so on. The exsistence of this wall clock also has other functions, it’s functions a timepiece also as an ornamental object (room decoration). Wall clock with displaying macrame techniques, it presents new and different forms, of course in awesome room when the clock is displaying.This creation aims to visualize the beauty of macrames on wall clocks. Inaddition, the creator wants to change the public’s view of this macrame that is so difficult in the process even though this macrame is easy and brings satisfaction to the audiences. The teqhnique that is used in malking this final work is by combining several knots in macrame teqhniques, which are a square knot and a souble half hook knot. After a long time of processes, 8 macrame works that have just been  created are : 1) light surrounded by darkness, 2) between me and others, 3) my hobby, 4) sun flower, 5) my family, 6) uniting us, 7)my best friends, 8) my woman. Through this makrame works, these are hoped that it can arouse enthusiasm in the work of art, and be used as a reference for making better macrame in the future.Keywords: Wall clock, Macrame

Abstract

This research is raining to see the comparison of the students’ visual art learning outcomes who have high creativity and low creativity taught with Jobsheet and conventional media. This research uses quasi-experimental methods with 2 x 2 forms. For the implementation, intial knowledge, final knoeledge, and creativity tests are conducted on both classes. The results of this study were students who were treated, learning outcomes were better than students who were not treated. For this reason, the use of Jobsheet media is very good to be applied to students in art learning, especially pratical learning.Keywords: Jobsheet media, creativity, learning outcomes
