Abstract

The role of teachers in improving student learning motivation is one of the integral activities that must be in learning activities. In addition to providing and transferring teacher knowledge is also tasked to improve children's motivation in learning. It cannot be denied that student learning with others is very different, that's why it is important for teachers to always motivate students so that students always have the spirit of learning and being able become students who excel and can develop themselves optimally. The learning process will succeed if students have motivation in learning. Therefore, teachers need to foster optimal student motivation. Teachers are demanded to be creative to arouse student learning motivation. Learning motivation is meaningfulness, value, and the benefits of learning learning activities are quite interesting for students to do learning activities.

Abstract

In a learning process, each students has different level of capability in mastering the teaching materials. For those who belong to the fast learner group and are able to achieve mastery learning earlier, ideally they need an additional learning activities to develop their skills more optimally. One of such learning activities is commonly known as the enrichment programs. Then, one of the learning challenges that can be applied in this enrichment program is proposing problem solving tasks to foster students' high order thinking skills. Based on the characteristics, it is revealed that PISA problems or PISA-like tasks has characteristics that are very in accordance with the characteristics of the rocemmenced enrichment problems. So that is why PISA problems or PISA-like tasks could be highly regarded as the enrichment tasks for students who have achieved early learning completeness. PISA mathematics problems or PISA-like mathematics tasks is expected to be able to optimize students 'mathematical literacy skills through activation of basic mathematical abilities, which in turn can help the success of enrichment programs in developing students' skills more optimally.

Abstract

Supervision is a professional supervision, because it is also more specific in addition to observing academic activities that are based on scientific ability, and the approach is no longer the usual management supervision, but more demanding democratic and humanistic professional abilities by education supervisions. Supervision carried out by supervisors using group techniques, namely through activities such as: orientation meetings, teacher meetings, group studies between teachers, discussions as an exchange of thoughts or opinions, workshops, sharing of experiences, panel discussions, seminars and symposiums. In addition to group supervision techniques used also use individual techniques. Individual supervision techniques used by supervisors in carrying out teaching supervision programs such as class visits, classroom observations, intervisitation, self-assessment, teaching demonstrations, and supervision bulletins. Based on the implementation of various academic supervision techniques, the teacher is expected to have competence so that the learning process is conducive.
