Abstract

Most of the Power plant in Indonesia is a steam power plant using coal-fired. Coal demand certainly related tocoal mining activities that will have an impact in the form of the formation of acid mine drainage. it hasundergone a chemical reaction process will have a direct impact on the quality of soil and groundwater due to thepH of groundwater in the area is declining sharply. This condition will affect the levels of Fe dissolved in theground water. The Water has a low pH and high Fe content need to be treated to achieve water quality standardsof waste coal mining activities in accordance with Kep.MENLH No. 113 Appendix I, 2003. Therefore appliedelectrochemical processes in acid mine drainage using electrocoagulation technology to be able to fix the pHvalue and the content of Fe dissolved in the water. From the research that has been done using technologyelektrokoagulai found that the pH value of acid mine drainage can be increased to 53.38% and a decrease Fecontent to 97.35%

Abstract

Energi listrik menjadi kebutuhan dasar atau pokok masyarakat sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kemajuan suatu daerah. Setiap tahun kebutuhan akan energi listrik terus meningkat namun tidak diimbangi dengan penyediaan energi listrik baru maupun terbarukan. Banyak daerah-daerah terpencil yang belum mendapatkan pasokan listrik dari pemerintah, padahal di daerah-daerah tersebut masih banyak sekali potensi untuk dibuat pembangkit listrik. Pemenuhan daya listrik tersebut bersumber dari berbagai skala dan segmentasi pembangkitan, salah satunya adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohdro (PLTMH).Water wheel turbine adalah salah satu instalasi PLTMH yang memanfaatkan tinggi jatuh air dan jumlah debit tertentu. Proses pembangkitan daya dimulai dari kecepatan dan tekanan air karena berada pada ketinggian yang mengalir melalui ruang diantara sudu-sudu turbin, aliran air ini untuk memutar poros turbin, kecepatan putaran poros turbin yang dihasilkan bergantung pada jumlah debit dan tinggi jatuhnya air, semakin besar debit dan semakin tinggi jatuhnya air maka semakin besar pula nilai kecepatan putaran poros turbin. Putaran poros turbin ini dihubungkan dengan generator menggunakan v-belt sehingga poros generator berputar dan menghasilkan energi listrik.

Abstract

Teknologi yang menfaatkan komputer yang perkembanganya semakin hari semakin maju. Komunikasi, jaringan komputer mendorong terbentuknya sebuah jaringan yang berkembang menjadi jaringan yang sangat kompleks dan sangat luas dan tersebar diseluruh lapisan dunia., dikenal dengan interconnected network atau lebih akrab disebut dengan internet. untuk membagi-bagi koneksi ke beberapa komputer pengguna user diperlukan server untuk mengatur dan memanajemen jaringan, Mikrotik server memiliki fitur yang sangat lengkap diantaranya : Firewall dan Nat, Routing, Hotspot, Point to Point Tunneling Protocol, DNS server, DHCP server, Manajemen Bandwidth, dan keamanan. Menggunakan Mikrotik RouterOS pada server dengan tools GUI (ghrafis user interface ) winbox yang terinstal pada client dapat memperudah administrator dalampengaturan/remote sistem jaringan yang berjalan.

Abstract

Following to the rapid indrustry, where many major indrustries using electric motors and other electricalequipment that is inductive, so that the reactive power consumption increase. For indrustrial low power factorcannot be avoided because each motors has variable load. Induction motors with a full load can provide highpower factor, but when the motor is low, its power factor will decrease. Its condition can be overcome by usingcapacitors. Capacitors are mounted paralell to the motor can be used to improve the power factor. The value ofthe capacitors depends on the reactive power generated by the motor. Component reactive power inductiveshould be reduced and the reduction can be done by adding capacitor. The reduction process can occur becausethe load is inductive and capasitive its opposite direction due to its reactive power into a small and show that at22 % load power factor improvment occurs 0.5151 into 0.5174.

Abstract

Penambahan BTS 3G bertujuan untuk memberikan layanan yang selalu lebih baik dan cepat. Perbandingancoverage 2G dan coverage 3G yang sangat dapat dirasakan oleh pelanggan adalah kualitas nilai level voice3G jauh lebih baik dibandingkan dengan nilai level voice 2G. Untuk mengetahui kulitas layanan maka bisadilakukan drive test. Dari drive test ini akan diketahui kualitas layanan seperti SMS (Short MessageService), video, voice dan data. Dari hasil drive test tersebut maka akan dianalisa apakah service suatu BTSpada suatu daerah tertentu dapat dikatakan baik atau belum. Maka service BTS tersebut akan dilakukansetting parameter, optimasi, audit site bahkan sampai akan dilakukan downlitl atau uplitl atau perluditambahkan BTS baru. Standar untuk nilai voice yang baik adalah 10 dBm sampai dengan 85 dBm,untuk nilai kecepatan akses data 2G yang baik adalah  51 Kbps  256 Kbps  sedangkan pada kecepatanakses data 3G 380 Kbps  1200 Kbps. Faktor yang mempengeruhi baik buruknya nilai received level sinyalvoice baik untuk 2G maupun untuk 3G adalah jarak antara antenna kelokasi pengukuran. Yangmempengaruhi nilai kecepatan akses data tersebut baik/cepat dan lambat/buruk adalah durasi akses data.

Abstract

The distribution of electric energy in the system required reliability of the protection system on the equipment to get a better job to transmit electrical energy to consumers, one of which, namely the protected Transformer protection by Differential Rele. The transformer is a tool to convert electrical voltage and current values are different in magnetic, and the Differential is a Rele rele the principle it works on the basis of the balance (balance), which compares the Current Transformer (CT) secondary of currents is installed on the terminal-terminal equipment or electrical installation which is secured. Here be discussed how to work when the differential rele interference in the area of work of such disorders, Differential Rele is short circuit interruption 3 Phase Transformer primary side 150 kV with the ratio of CT 400/5A and the secondary side of the transformer 70 kV CT ratio 800/5A. Obtained results of calculation for short circuit 3 primary side 150 kV Phase is 1204.57 Ampere with a value of Differential Current setting rele 1.99 Ampere, stated that Differential Rele don't work because the current setting rele is larger than the current calculation of short circuit 3 phase occurs. 3 Phase short circuit interruption in the secondary side 70 kV is 4636.77 Ampere and Rele will work there due to the current which passes through the area of work with a current rating rele differential setting rele is smaller than the current value of the differential or the value of current that operates from 3 Phase short circuit interruption.
