Abstract

This research aims is to understand influence of leadership style, compensation and organizational commitment to employee turnover intention. There are three independent variables and one dependent variable, namely leadership style, compensation and organizational commitment as the independent variables and turnover intention as dependent variable. The object of this research is employer who works at PT NP international located in Jakarta. This research was done to 35 respondents by using quantitative descriptive approach and saturated sample technique. Thus, data analysis is conducted by using multiple linier regression and is processing by using SPSS program version 23. The results of this research shows that leadership style and organizational commitment have a negative and significance influence towards turnover intention, and compensation has a positive and significance influence towards turnover intention

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of motivation on the job satisfaction of lecturers at Bina Bangsa University Faculty of Economics and Business, to know the effect of compensation on lecturer satisfaction at Bina Bangsa University Faculty of Economics and Business, and to know the effect of motivation and compensation together on lecturers satisfaction at Bina Bangsa University Faculty of Economics and Business. This research method used quantitative methods with multiple regression models. The populations of this study were 98 lecturers and the samples used in this study were all lecturers. The results showed that motivation had an effect on lecturers job satisfaction, compensation did not affect on lecturers job satisfaction, also motivation and compensation had an effect on the work satisfaction of lecturers together

Abstract

The purpose of this research to knows and analyzes the influence of work competency and transformational leadership toward work satisfaction and its implication on worker performance of study program in Politeknik Kesehatan Tanjungkarang, Lampung Province. Population in this research is 297 people or all worker, whereas the sample is a number of 260 workers suitable with SEM requirement. The tool of data collection uses questioner instrument whereas the tool of data analyzing uses statistics, i.e. structural equation modeling (SEM). Based on SEM analyzing by using Lisrel 8.70, it is known that work competency variable and transformational leadership give influence toward work satisfaction of study program in Politeknik Kesehatan Tanjungkarang environment. The result describes that is very determined by work satisfaction which improve and work satisfaction is influenced by transformational leadership which applies on Study program in Politeknik Kesehatan Tanjungkarang environment.

Abstract

In this era of global change, where the millennial generation has begun to enter the workforce, more and more workers around the world are feeling uneasy about staying in their current jobs. Even in a survey conducted  by TNS Employee Insights, a survey agency in the United States, stated that only 14.3% of workers were fully engaged with the company, 29.7% were involved and the rest did not want to be involved in the organization. The survey also noted about 45% of respondents who stated they were not satisfied with their work. The level of employee dissatisfaction will negatively affect the behavior and feelings of employees in a company. This study aims to look at the 3 variables, namely compensation, flexible working hour  and company branding, which is the most influential on employee engagement to stay and  be involved in realizing the ideals of the organization. This research was conducted on millennial respondents who had worked for at least 1 year  in various industries both manufacturing and service industries in the area of West Java, Central Java and East Java as well as Jabodetabek, Indonesia. The number of samples collected and calculated were 285 respondents. Data calculation is done using SEM-AMOS software. From the analysis of the data it was found that compensation, flexible working hour  and company branding  have an influence on employee motivation and employee engagement, and employee motivation has the effect of mediating the relationship between compensation, flexible working hour and company branding on employee  engagement.

Abstract

The existence of exhibition halls with professional management is a major factor to boost the exhibition industry in an area. The exhibition industry is one of the supporting elements of MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibition / events). The government has set MICE as a top five sector in bringing foreign tourists, even this sector is targeted to be able to grow up to 10% in 2019. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the growth of Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) and its impact on the promotion of small and medium enterprises in Banten Province. This research uses a literature study with descriptive and explorative approaches and secondary data from Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). It can be concluded that: (1) ICE is very potential and has a huge impact in contribution of creating jobs, increasing regional yield and income for the country, (2) With the increase of MICE events at ICE, it will attract a high number of visitors to come and be a potential market for hotel industry, event organizers (EO), travel agencies and transportation to get a decent profit. In addition, many small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) which involved in MICE industry grow their revenue such as catering services, souvenir, food and beverage sellers.

Abstract

AbstractAbstract: one method to be able to develop a business that has run well with fast time by using a franchise business system where there will be a relationship between the franchisor and the franchisee. The franchisor is obliged to provide support and franchisees with an obligation to pay fees. This gives a beginner franchisor an overview of rights and obligations and understands the potential of developing a business with a franchise system in his business. when the franchise business is running there are several other income that the franchisor will get as the owner. in this case the results of this study are collected through group discussion (Franchise and Licensing) discussions that focus on information about the potential income of the franchisor. The results show that aside from the self-owned business profits there are also other franchisor sources of income that can be fostered from their franchisees; Other income is royalties, franchise fees, advertising costs, material purchases. Franchisor berkewajiban untuk memberikan dukungan dan franchisee dengan kewajiban untuk membayar biaya. Ini memberikan gambaran pemilik waralaba pemula tentang hak dan kewajiban dan memahami potensi mengembangkan bisnis dengan sistem waralaba dalam bisnisnya. ketika usaha waralaba sudah berjalan ada beberapa pendapatan lain yang akan di dapat oleh franchisor sebagai pemilik. dalam hal ini dari hasil penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui diskusi kelompok anggota (Waralaba dan Lisensi Indonesia) yang berfokus pada informasi tentang pendapatan potensial franchisor. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa selain dari keuntungan bisnis milik sendiri ada juga sumber pendapatan franchisor lain yang dapat dipupuk dari franchisee mereka; Penghasilan lainnya adalah royalti, biaya waralaba, biaya iklan, pembelian materi. Abstract

The current strategic environment in the world shows that there is a greater potential for intrastate conflict, especially in third world countries. The United Nations as a world body has held a UN Peacekeeping Mission as an instrument to create peace in countries which undergo multidimensional conflict. Indonesia has sent its personnel in the UN Peacekeeping Mission since 1957 through the sending of the 1st Garuda  Contingent to the UNEF Mission in Sinai. At present Indonesia has sent a Garuda contingent in various UN Peacekeeping regions in the world. The involvement of TNI personnel in the UN Peacekeeping Mission has continued to increase from year to year. But the increase in the number of TNI personnel involved in the UN Peacekeeping Mission has not been accompanied by an increase in the number of middle / high ranked TNI officers who are able to hold strategic positions at the UN Peacekeeping Mission. This paper aims to convey a view on the career development of TNI Officers in the UN Peacekeeping Mission. This research uses qualitative methods through literature studies and interviews. The findings indicate the need to synchronize the system of career development and education for TNI Officers in the UN Peacekeeping Mission in order to have a competitive advantage in competing to hold some strategic positions in the UN Peacekeeping Mission.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how strong the effect of competency, motivation, commitment on cathecis voluntary  performances in Jakarta archbishop dioses integrated either partially or simultaneously. This study was a category of social management research that uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study are all volunteer catechists in the archdiocese parish that covers 8 areas or eight deaneries. The sampling method was done by using cluster sampling and a total sample was 200 respondents. Tehcnic analysis used is path analysis were previously tested with the classical assumtion test. Hypotesis testing using t-test and F test with confidence level of 5%. The result of this study indicate that competency, motivation and commitment significant influence on voluntary cathecis performance either partially or simultaneously, this is partially evidenced by t-test conducted on the four variable mentioned above and shown simultaneously by the F-test was also conducted to the above four variables. But motivation variable wasn’t effect to the performance of voluntary cathecis.
