The aims of this journal is to disseminate research findings, ideas, and review in architectural studies SCIENTIFIC AREAS: Building (architecture) and Urban/Regional Study: theory, history, technology, landscape and site planning, behavioral, social and cultural, structure and construction, traditional architecture, criticism, digital architecture, urban design /planning, housing and settlements, and other related discussion Architecture Education and Practice: curriculum/studio development, work opportunities and challenges, globalization, locality, professionalism, code of ethics, project managerial, financing, etc. Review of Architectural Works Other Related Disciplines (will be reviewed by Editors) which may become interdisciplinary discussion and stimulate architecture insight, such as environment planning, economic development, development policy, tourism.

Abstract

Merauke is a district that is located in the southernmost part of Papua province and the most eastern part of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. The wealth of tourism assets which is a combination of natural scenery and cultural uniqueness is also abundant. So far, the tourist attraction in Wasur National Park is still not sufficient to make it a tourist destination that can attract tourists. So that in this area, facilities that can help tourists with information, accommodation and transportation services are needed, including lodging, restaurants, travel agency, recreational park, souvenir shop, and so on. The method used is the descriptive method (to describe), namely: a method for looking for elements, characteristics and characteristics or phenomena. This method begins by collecting data and analyzing data using field survey techniques, comparative studies, literature studies, interviews / questionnaires, site analysis and building analysis. Where the data and analysis obtained can be used as a reference in the design of the tourist area in Wasur National Park, Merauke Regency. The result of this research is to get a container (Tourist Area in Wasur National Park) which is comfortable and can create harmony between humans and nature.

Abstract

KPA (AIDS Adventure Commission) is a government program to control the spread of HIV / AIDS in Indonesia. Merauke is one of the districts that has a fairly large spread of HIV / AIDS in Papua Province. The role of KPA in Merauke is very much needed in tackling the spread of HIV / AIDS. The absence of a permanent KPA office in Merauke is an obstacle to work program activities. The purpose of this design is to provide a design for the KPA office in Merauke that can meet all activities and needs related to the work program of the KPA office. The method used in this preparation is the descriptive method. The process of searching for data using observation techniques, interviews and literature studies related to the KPA office. The application uses a modern tropical architectural design approach which emphasizes the use of modern materials in the building parts such as floors, walls, roofs and the application of tropical elements is used to complete the ventilation and lighting systems of the building. Abstract

Asmat is famous for its culture, namely wood carving and dance. There are two major events held each year in October and June. Types of activities and competitions include traditional traditional dance and statue auction demonstrations intended for adults, sculpture for the school level, socio-drama, decorative boat maneuvers and others. With the increase in activities and the number of artists every year and there is no place that can accommodate all artistic activities. so that we need a forum that becomes the center of art activities or the Asmat Art Center in Agats Asmat with a post modern architectural approach. The research method that I use is descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and literature study from related agencies such as the Asmat Regency Culture and Tourism Office, Asmat Regency BAPPEDA, Asmat Regency Public Works Office and other related agencies which contain data on the types of activities and the number of actors, maps and building rules. The standard building book about the museum space. The results of the design of the Asmat Art Center were designed with a post modern architectural approach, namely the combination of two modern and traditional styles of Asmat culture, namely Rumah adat Jew. Abstract

Merauke has a lot of potential racing talent but the lack of racing facilities to channel the interests and talents of young people in Merauke has an impact on wild racing, racing activities carried out on roads and beaches that endanger safety and comfort and road racing events held in Merauke still use Open space such as a highway with facilities as is, it is necessary to support the road race circuit supporting the racing activities, as well as the racing circuit track according to national standards of 1.2km. Techno Artistic architectural approach is applied to the use of fabrication materials, energy efficient technology. The results of the design of road race circuit facilities are equipped with regional and building utility installations, so that the results of this design do not damage the surrounding environment and safety on the site.
