This study aims to determine the attractiveness of mines in meeting the social and economic needs of people in Morosi Village Morosi Sub-District Konawe. The study was conducted from March to June 2017. The results show that: 1) the low economic literacy impact on welfare, therefore the priority to increase economic literacy becomes a necessity for individuals or families who want to prosper. In other words, increasing the mastery of economic literacy is inexorable but a necessity and it can be initiated from a continuous learning passion. Considering that the increase in specific economic literacy has a positive impact on asset accumulation, deaccumulation of debt, protection, accumulation of saving and the carefulness of managing expenditure. Working on the mine with sufficient monthly data collection can be an increase in knowledge and economic literacy. 2) Socially with mined work will be fulfilled all. Needs to help families especially in weddings, art needs and so on.

The aim of this research was to analyze the income source of the fisherman society. This research was conducted in Bungin Permai Village of Tinanggea Sub-district of Konawe Selatan District. The Sample was taken by purposive sampling methods. The number of samples in this research were 10 fishermen and the criteria of the informant fishermen were the catcher or the cultivation, it directly visible at the research social interaction, and they who can give the information although not directly involved in the social interaction that has been researched. The techniques of analysis that have been used at this research was the descriptive qualitative that was to Analysis showed that the main source of their income that they did every day, the unpredictable nature condition makes the fisherman can not fishing every day and it cause sometimes they did the diversification to fulfill their necessity or did the part-time job.

The study aims to determine the amount of income, income contribution to total household income, and how the difference in income contribution of housewife working in oil palm plantations and working as traders in traditional markets. The research location was done by purposive and sample housewife who work as oil palm plantation as many as 60 people and work as a trader in the traditional market as much as 37 people. Data analysis that was used in this study were income analysis, income contribution, and t-test analysis of difference(t-test). The results showed that the average income of housewife who works as laborers in oil palm plantation IDR 1.038.300, - / month and work in traditional market IDR 1.359.204, - / month. The income contribution of a housewife from working as oil palm plantation workers and those who work as traders in traditional markets was the same, about 30% of total household income. The difference in income contribution of housewife working on oil palm plantations and working in traditional markets to total household income was not different, statistically

The purpose of this study is to know the role of agriculture counseling in increasing farm group of Kaseiseha in Matabubu Village Poasia Sub-District Kendari Town. This study was on December 2016 in Matabubu Village Poasia Sub-District Kendari Town. The population in this study was all members of Kaseiseha Farm Group in Matabubu Village Poasia Sub-District Kendari Town. The sampling was done by using census method by taking all populations of study as a sample with the number 20 people and using qualitative descriptive analyze which formulating how the role of agriculture counseling in increasing farm group of Kaseiseha in Matabubu Village Poasia Sub-District Kendari Town. The variable was observed the role of agriculture counseling which covers (counselor as the facilitator, as a technician, as an organizer, and as the agent of reformer), increasing of farm group consist of (study tool, corporate mode, and unit of production). The result of the study showed that the role of agriculture counseling in increasing farm group of Kaseiseha, a counselor had been as a facilitator, technician, organizer, but the counselor still less in having a role as an agent of the reformer, while in increasing of farm group, the counselor had been had a role well. This thing can saw in increasing of farm group of Kaseiseha use their farm group as a study tool, corporate mode, and unit of production by guiding of agriculture counselor.

This study aims to determine the motivation of farmers in cultivating patchouli plants. This research was conducted in December 2016 until February 2017. Determination of the sample was done by using Arikunto formula, with a total population of 109 farmers of patchouli, then the number of samples that is as much as 26 people by taking sample as much 25%. The variables observed in this study were 1) the identity of farmers who were included: age, level, normal education, number of family dependents, and land area 2) farmers' motivation in cultivating patchouli plants covering: availability of facilities and infrastructure, the intensity of agricultural extension, And farmer innovation. 3) patchouli cultivation consisting of cultivation of land, nursery, pest control, and patchouli plant disease and harvest and post-harvest. The results showed that the Motivation of patchouli farmers in Kilambibito Village, Kecamatan subdistrict Muna Regency was in the medium category, that is 18 people with the percentage of 70.23%, while the low and high category were each 4 respondents with the percentage of 15.40%.
