Abstract

Abstract. Real options are one of the most interesting research topics in Finance since 1977 Stewart C. Myers from MIT Sloan School of Management published his pioneering article on this subject in the Journal of Financial Economics. Real options are techniques for supporting capital budgeting decisions that adapt techniques developed for financial securities options. The purpose of using this real option is to capture the options contained in projects that cannot be captured by the discounted cash flow model which operates as a basic framework for almost all financial analyzes. The process of valuing real options will be complemented by the stochastic interest rate and stochastic volatility to better capture the flexibility and volatility of the existing economic and financial situation. The valuation will use a Monte Carlo simulation with the MATLAB programming language on crude oil data from the North Sea oil field. Data were obtained from the thesis of Charlie Grafström and Leo Lundquist with the title "Real Option Valuation vs. DCF Evaluation – An Application to a North Sea oilfield".Keyword: real options, stochastic interest rate model, stochastic volatility model, simulation

Abstract

Abstrak. Persaingan  operator seluler saat ini membuat banyak provider seluler menawarkan sejumlah paket yang menarik, sehingga munculah persaingan dalam perkembangan operator seluler. Tidak dipungkiri persaingan tersebut membuat pengguna seluler kebingungan dalam menentukan operator yang tepat sesuai kriteria, terlebih dikalangan anak muda yang kegiatannya banyak menggunakan gadget. Dalam memilih operator selular, biasanya para pengguna mempertimbangkan beberapa faktor, diantaranya kualitas jaringan, jangkauan jaringan, paket internet, harga dan bonus. Dalam memilih operator seluler yang tepat sesuai dengan kriteria, dapat digunakan dengan penerapan teori keputusan. Teori keputusan yang  diterapkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Electre dengan pembobotan menggunakan metode entropy. Metode Electre merupakan salah satu metode pengambilan keputusan multikriteria berdasarkan pada konsep outrangking dengan menggunakan perbandingan berpasangan dari alternatif-alternatif berdasarkan setiap kriteria yang sesuai.Yang menjadi alternatif dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis operator seluler, yaitu XL Axiata, Three, Axis, Indosat, dan Telkomsel. Sedangkan kriteria yang digunakan untuk setiap alternatif adalah kualitas jaringan, jangkauan jaringan, paket internet, harga, dan bonus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lingkungan mahasiswa Unisba. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh urutan operator seluler yang dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam memilih operator seluler yang tepat.Keywords: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Metode Electre, EntropyApplication Of the Decision Support Theory Of Electre Methods in Selecting Cellular Abstract.The current cellular operator competition makes many cellular providers offer a number of attractive packages, so there is competition in the development of cellular operators. No doubt the competition makes cellular users confused in determining the right operator according to criteria, especially among young people whose activities use a lot of gadgets. In choosing a service provider, users usuaAlly consider several factors, including network quality, network coverage, internet packages, prices and bonus.In choosing the right cellular operator according to the criteria, it can be used with the application of decision theory. The decision theory applied in this study uses the Electre method by weighting using the entropy method. Electre method is one of the multicriteria decision-making methods based on the concept of outrangking by using pairwise comparisons of alternatives based on each appropriate criterion.The alternatives in this study are types of cellular operators, namely XL Axiata, Three Indonesia, Axis, Indosat, and Telkomsel. The criteria used for each alternative are network quality, network coverage, internet packages, prices, and bonuses.This research was conducted in the Unisba student environment. From the results of the study obtained the sequence of cellular operators that can be used as a consideration in choosing the right cellular operators.Keywords: Decision Support System, Electre Method, Entropy

Abstract

Abstrak. Kepadatan lalu lintas seringkali terjadi dipersimpangan, baik itu simpang tiga, empat, atau lebih, dengan atau tanpa bantuan lampu lalu lintas sebagai alat bantu pengatur arus kendaraan secara bergiliran. Lampu lalu lintas umunya digunakan pada simpang empat atau lebih. Durasi waktu lampu lalu lintas, yaitu lampu merah dan hijau, apabila dilakukan pengaturan secara tepat sesuai dengan kepadatan lalu lintas dapat mengurangi kepadatan. Pada artikel ini, kami mengusulkan sebuah aplikasi simulasi simpang empat dengan lampu lalu lintas menggunakan toolbox SimEvents MATLAB-Simulink versi 2015 atau sebelumnya. Modul yang diusulkan adalah berupa modul gateway dimana entitas tidak mengalir selama durasi waktu tertentu yang diatur melalui desain program. Aplikasi ini merupakan alternatif dari SimEvents MATLAB versi 2017 atau yang terbaru. Versi 2015 lebih sederhana dalam penyusunannya, namun MATLAB menyarankan akan menggunakan versi terbaru. Walau demikian, versi 2015 dapat terus digunakan untuk dijadikan sebagai media rekayasa lalu lintas. Melalui aplikasi simulasi ini diharapkan dapat dilakukan pemilihan durasi waktu yang tepat sehingga diperoleh keseimbangan panjang antrian di setiap jalur di persimpangan.Kata kunci: persimpangan, lalu lintas, modul simulasi, simevents, MATLAB
