Abstract

There are many technological developments in banks, one of which is online transactions. To get these transactions, an account should be opened using the electronic know you customer (e-KYC) verification system at banks. This research wants to know the differences in the factors that influence behavioral intentions to use e-KYC at SCB (The Siam Commercial Bank) Thailand and Bank Mandiri Indonesia. This is a quantitative research using a survey. The researcher has prepared a questionnaire of 160 respondents: 80 for Bank Mandiri and 80 for SCB. The results indicate that the willingness of Bank Mandiri Indonesia’s respondents to use electronic identity verification services is influenced by smaller factors compared to SCB Thailand’s respondents. In total, all of the factors defined in this research is influenced the willingness.

Abstract

Indonesian singers have a diverse musical genre. They also origin from several regions in Indonesia. This study analyzes the relationships between singers, genre, and origin of the singer using the Closeness Centrality algorithm. Data are retrieved by using a SPARQL query on DBpedia Indonesia. The generated graph produces a density value of 0.01. The results of the Closeness Centrality calculation shows that more than 50% out of 268 singers had scores above 30%.

Abstract

Prediction for canceled booking hotels is an important part of hotel revenue management systems in the modern era. Because the predicted result can be used for the optimization of hotel performance. The application of machine learning will be very helpful for predicting canceled booking hotels because machine learning can process complex data. In this research, the proposed methods are Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Logistic Regression. Later it will be done five times experiments with hyperparameter tuning to see which method is the most optimal to do prediction canceled booking hotel. From five times experiments, experiments number five (logistic regression with GridSearchCV) is the most optimal for predicting canceled booking hotels, with 79.77% accuracy, 85.86% precision, and 55.07% recall.

Abstract

One of the goals of implementing a smart campus is to improve public services. Whereas the Academic Information System (Siakad) is a very important type of management information system (MIS) digital service. To find out the quality of service from the viewpoint of the user of this information system, a usability test was made. Usability is a qualitative analysis in determining the quality of an information system based on the user. The purpose of this study is to conduct usability testing SIAKAD in IAIN Salatiga using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Based on the usability test results, the majority of respondents use and utilize this information system well, this is proven by the value of the test results of 84,75. The evaluation results show that the Academic Information System at IAIN Salatiga is categorized as excellent.

Abstract

National government and regional government are developing public service by communication and information network. Provided public service must be reliable, trusted, and reachable. To fulfil that, there are standards that need to be implemented for example ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and LPSE Standard. The purpose of this paper is to create efficiency in implementing ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and LPSE Standard with the scope of data center infrastructure and e-procurement service (LPSE). This paper uses qualitative method. The data obtained from primary and secondary data through a case study from government that has successfully implemented those standards. The result of this paper is mapping that shows intersection of similarity and difference between ISO 27001:2013, ISO 9001:2015, dan LPSE Standard and efficiency of document requirement which previously 50 to 24 documents only.

Abstract

As the usage of the internet grows, more and more information is obtained, thus presenting challenges, especially for users and website owners. Website users often have difficulty finding products or services that are relevant to their needs caused by abundant amounts of products and services delivered on a website. Website owners often find it difficult to convey information about the right products and services to certain target users. Based on the problem given above, we can conclude that a recommendation system approach that can improve personalization on their website is needed. The recommendation system approach must be able to provide navigation on the website to make it more adaptive towards the interests and information needed by the user. This study uses Association Rules formed from Microsoft web access log data by finding visitor patterns based on frequently visited web site pages. From the results of the research conducted, the performance of the method used has a precision value of 0.896, 0.058 recall, and F-measure 0.104. Whereas the measurement of the accuracy value resulted in a performance recommendation of exactly 3%, an acceptable rate of 87%, and 10% incorrect. This research shows that the Association Rules method can increase the effectiveness of website personalization to provide relevant information recommendations for visitors. For further research, it can concentrate on improving existing methods thus website personalization becomes more adaptive.

Abstract

In this era, technology is increasingly sophisticated, this is evidenced by the number of people using the internet via cell phones, laptops, and other communication tools. One of the developments of this technology is social media such as Instagram. Along with technological developments, Instagram users can upload and share photos and videos using hashtags (#) so that other users can find the results of their posts. Instagram has now become one of the social media used by more than 1 billion people in the world. In this study, the authors wanted to know the dominant topics discussed through the hashtag covidindonesia. This research was conducted using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method. The analysis was carried out after doing text mining on 84 captions from various users on Instagram. To determine the optimal number of topics, by looking at the value of perplexity and topic coherence. The results obtained are the top 5 topics that are the content material in the uploaded video. These topics include covidindonesia, covid_19, pandemics in Indonesia, and discussion of covid-19 virus mutations.

Abstract

Support Vector Machine (SVM) is one of the most widely used classification algorithms for sentiment analysis and has been shown to provide satisfactory performance. However, despite its advantages, the SVM algorithm still has weaknesses in selecting the right SVM parameters to optimize the performance. In this study, sentiment analysis was done with the use of data called tweets about Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja which reap many pros and cons by the people in Indonesia, especially the laborers. The classification method used in this study is the Support Vector Machine algorithm which is optimized using the Particle Swarm Optimization method for the SVM parameters selection in the hope of optimizing the performance generated by the SVM algorithm in sentiment analysis. The results of the study using 10 k-fold cross-validations using the SVM algorithm resulted in an accuracy of 92,99%, a precision of 93,24%, and a recall of 93%. Meanwhile, the SVM and PSO algorithms produce an accuracy of 95%, precision of 95,08%, and recall of 94,97%. The results show that the Particle Swarm Optimization method can overcome the weaknesses of the Support Vector Machine algorithm in the problem of parameter selection and has succeeded in improving the resulting performance where the SVM-PSO is more superior to SVM without optimization in sentiment analysis.

Abstract

TCP was developed to deal with problems that often occur in the network, such as congestion problems. Congestion can occur when the number of packets transmitted in the network approaches the network capacity which can cause network problems. This can be overcome by implementing TCP and queue management. In this research, we will test the performance of TCP Newreno and TCP Vegas using NS-2 in the Drop Tail queue. The performance parameters used are throughput, packet drop, and congestion window with additional buffer capacity. The test results for the congestion window and packet drop parameters, TCP Vegas has better performance when the buffer gets bigger when congestion occurs with the congestion window smaller than TCP New Reno and the average packet drop is 18.33 packets compared to TCP New Reno with an average of 18.33 packets. average 41.67 packets. For throughput parameters, TCP New Reno has better performance with an average of 6.77253 Mbps than TCP Vegas with an average of 4.29693 Mbps. From testing and analysis that TCP Vegas has better performance than TCP New Reno when using Drop Tail queues.

Abstract

Cryptography is one of the most popular methods in data security by making data very difficult to read or even unreadable. One of the well-known techniques or algorithms in cryptography is Vigenere Cipher. This classic algorithm is classified as a polyalphabetic substitution cipher-based algorithm. Therefore, this algorithm tends to only handle data in text form. By this research, a console-based application has been developed which is made from PHP programming language to be able to encrypt and decrypt digital image media using Vigenere Cipher. The encryption process is done by first converting a digital image into a base64 encoding format so that the encryption process can be carried out using the tabula recta containing the radix-64 letter arrangement used for base64 encoding. Conversely, the decryption process is carried out by restoring the encrypted file using radix-64 letters, so we get the image file in the base64 encoding format. Then, the image with the base64 encoding format is decoded into the original file. The encryption process took less than 0,2 seconds and 0.19 seconds for the decryption process and 33.34% for average file size addition on the encrypted file from the original file size. Testing on ten different images with different sizes and dimensions showed a 100% success rate which means this research was successfully carried out.
