Poverty is a multidimensional concept that includes dimensions as lack of opportunity, lack of empowerment, and lack of security. This study aims to analyze the determinants of poverty and their effects on poverty in East Java Province. This research uses quantitative methods, and the data used are data from the Central Statistics Agency of East Java Province. The type of data used is a cross-section in 2018. This study uses multiple linear analysis (OLS) with poverty as the dependent variable, economic growth (GRDP), labor force, and APBD as independent variables. It uses regional dummy variables to see the effect of poverty enclaves on poverty in East Java. Dummy 1 for the “tapal kuda” area, and dummy 2 for the Madura island area. The results showed that the GRDP and regional budget had a negative and significant effect on poverty. Labor force variables have a positive and significant impact on poverty in East Java Province in 2018. Dummy 1 (D1) has a probability of 0.6532 (> 0.05), which means that the D1 variable is not significant to poverty in East Java. Then for the D2 variable or region on the island of Madura has a probability level of 0.0233 (<0.05), which means significant for poverty in East Java in 2018

Pariwisata adalah salah satu jenis industri baru yang mampu mempercepat pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penyediaan lapangan kerja, serta menstimulasi sektor-sektor produktif lainnya. Sektor pariwisata mempunyai peran yang strategis dalam perkembangan perekonomian di Indonesia, selain sebagai sumber penghasil devisa, sektor pariwisata dapat memacu dan menggerakkan sektor-sektor ekonomi lainnya, serta membuka kesempatan kerja dan kesempatan berusaha lebih luas dan lebih merata (Utami, 2016). Provinsi Jawa Tengah merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang mempunyai beragam objek wisata, baik wisata alam, wisata budaya, wisata kuliner maupun wisata buatan yang sangat menarik. Daya tarik wisata yang ada dapat menjadi modal penting untuk menempatkan Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebagai destinasi wisata bagi wisnus maupun wisman (BPS, 2019). Analisis dilakukan untuk meneliti dampak sektor pariwisata terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan analisis input-output. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan data sekunder yaitu Tabel Input-Output 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sub sektor pariwisata (sub sektor restoran, hotel, transportasi dan komunikasi, jasa biro perjalanan wisata, dan jasa hiburan dan rekreasi) memiliki dampak yang dapat diperhitungkan bagi perekonomian Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Meskipun dampak sektor pariwisata masih relatif kecil tetapi hasilnya menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif terhadap perekonomian karena adanya kenaikan output dari investasi di sektor pariwisata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diharapkan pemerintah lebih memperhatikan dan meningkatkan usaha pengembangan sektor pariwisata yang lebih tepat dan terarah sehingga pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan perekonomian Provinsi Jawa Tengah.

The goal to be achieved through this research is to find out and analyze how far the impact of the transfer of some tasks from Kelurahan Sepinggan Raya to The Department of Population and Civil Registration (DISDUKCAPIL) on the quality of services provided which results in satisfaction or not community members of the services provided by The Kelurahan Sepinggan Raya. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive with the method of data analysis techniques frequency table and Likert scale 4 points. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to 97 respondents. The results showed that in general the quality of public administrative services in Kelurahan Sepinggan Raya Balikpapan using the theory proposed by Payne regarding human resources, service processes and facilities and infrastructure was better but not yet optimal.

Badan Keuangan Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara adalah unsur pendukung pelaksana teknis penyelenggaraan pemerintah daerah yang dipimpin oleh seorang Kepala Badan dan berkedudukan di bawah dan bertanggung jawab kepada Bupati melalui Sekretaris Daerah yang mempunyai tugas pokok terhadap kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat Penajam Paser Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Badan Keuangan Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara. Penelitian ini dengan memilih responden pegawai Badan Keuangan Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuisioner maupun wawancara. Sensus seluruh populasi yang ada yaitu sebanyak 128 pegawai. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan disiplin, motivasi dan kepemimpinan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Badan Keuangan Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara. Secara parsial disiplin, motivasi dan kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Pada penelitian ini yang memiliki pengaruh dominan adalah variabel kepemimpinan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh good corporate governance yang diukur menggunakan kepemilikan institusional, jumlah dewan komisaris independen dan jumlah dewan direksi terhadap kebijakan dividen di bursa efek Indonesia. Populasi sebanyak 476 entitas dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 141 mengunakan metode purposive sampling. Alat analisis menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan institusional dan dewan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen sedangkan dewan direksi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen.

This research aims to analyze the competence of lecture of advanced financial management lesson from college student perceptions of management study programs at STIE Balikpapan. Data Analysis Methods used in this research are validity, reliability, and descriptive statistical analysis. The sample of the research is S-1 of management study program Semester IVD, IVE, IVG and IVH. The validity test results are known that the calculated r value of each statement item tested is greater than the value of r table. Therefore, all statement items on each variable are declared valid and can be used as data collection tools. The reliability test results can be concluded that the variables Pedagogical Competence, Professional Competence, Personality Competence, and Social Competence show the Alpha coefficient value greater than 0.60. So that all variables in the research are declared reliable and can be used as a data collection tool. College student perceptions of lecturer competencies: (1) Pedagogical Competence shows the highest respondents' answers with good criteria, namely 55 people (52%); (2) Professional Competence shows the highest respondent's answer with good criteria, namely 54 people (51%); (3) Personality Competence shows the highest respondent's answer with good criteria that is 54 people (51%); (4) and Social Competence shows the highest respondents' answers with good criteria as many as 50 people (47%).

“Pengaruh Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), dan Loan to Deposit Ratio Terhadap Return On Assets (ROA) pada PT. Bank BNI (Persero), Tbk.”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh CAR, NIM, dan LDR terhadap ROA pada PT. Bank BNI (Persero), Tbk. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah semua Laporan Keuangan PT. Bank BNI (Persero), Tbk. dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan penulis. Analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian secara simultan diperoleh bahwa variabel CAR, NIM, dan LDR secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap ROA pada PT. Bank BNI (Persero), Tbk., sedangkan secara parsial variabel CAR mempunyai pengaruh negatif dan signifikan sekaligus dominan terhadap ROA pada PT. Bank BNI (Persero), Tbk., NIM mempunyai pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap ROA pada PT. Bank BNI (Persero), Tbk., dan LDR mempunyai pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap ROA pada PT. Bank BNI (Persero), Tbk.

ANALISIS RETURN ON ASSET, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, PERTUMBUHAN PERUSAHAAN DAN FINANCIAL DISTRESS TERHADAP AUDITOR SWITCHING Rihfenti Ernayani

Auditor Switching merupakan perilaku yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan untuk mengganti auditor atau Kantor Akuntan Publik (KAP). Auditor switching bisa terjadi secara sukarela atau secara wajib. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengarui auditor switching, apakah return on asset, ukuran perusahaan, pertumbuhan perusahaan atau financial distress yang mempengaruhi auditor switching. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan finance yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016 sampai 2018. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan didapat sampel sejumlah 71 perusahaan finance selama tiga tahun pengamatan, sehingga data yang diolah sebanyak 213. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi logistik dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa return on asset berpengaruh terhadap auditor switching, ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap auditor switching, pertumbuhan perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap auditor switching, dan financial distress berpengaruh terhadap auditor switching pada perusahaan finance yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018.

ABSTRACT This study aims to test the ability of the purchasing power parity model used to predict the exchange rate of the rupiah against the US dollar based on differences in inflation in the two countries. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling method by time series per month during the period January 2016 - December 2018 as many as 36 months. The results of this study are that first, the difference in inflation rates in Indonesia and the United States has a significant effect on changes in the US Dollar exchange rate. Second, the purchasing power parity model is still feasible to be used to predict the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar. These results are shown by the significant effect of differences in inflation in the two countries on changes in exchange rates, supported by the regression results of purchasing power parity that meet the requirements of the assumption test. This research aims to determine the effect of simultaneously and partially variables of Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, Return on Equity and Net Profit Margin on profit growth. The research period used is 2015-2018. The population in this study are companies that are incorporated in the building construction subsector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as many as 19 companies. This research uses Purposive Sampling technique so that 11 company samples are obtained, using secondary data in the form of annual financial statement data of the building construction subsector for the 2015-2018 period. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, Return on Equity and Net Profit Margin have a positive and significant effect on profit growth in building construction subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. While partially it can be concluded that of the four variables the Net Profit Margin has a dominant effect on profit growth in the building construction subsector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
