Jurnal Ilmiah Syi’ar, published by Da’wah Faculty of Bengkulu State Islamic Institut since 2007. The subject covers textual and fieldwork studies with various focuses of communication, conseling, development and empowerment of community, management, and many more (the central focus of Islamic sciences). In the beginning the journal only served as a scholarly forum for the lecturers and professors at internal of the Institute. However, due to the later development with a broader readership, the journal has successfully invited scholars and researchers outside the Institute to contribute.

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan peran serta masyarakat dalam pemantauan isi siaran, masyarakat bisa mengorganisir diri untuk membentuk kelompok masyarakat sadar media. Pembentukan kelompok masyarakat pemantau ini didasari bahwa frekuensi siaran merupakan milik publik dan harus dimanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya untuk kepentingan masyarakat. Setidaknya ada dua hal yang bisa dilakukan dalam menumbuhkan penguatan peran masyarakat dalam pengawasan isi siaran,  melalui program sosialisasi literasi media dan berkoordinasi dengan stakeholder terkait tentang Pengawasan Isi Siaran. Di samping bertujuan untuk berpartisipasi dalam mengawasi perilaku media penyiaran, program literasi media juga dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pendidikan media kepada masyarakat agar bisa memilah dan memilih siaran yang sehat.

Abstract

Comprehensively  institutions development may interprented as one form of education reform offers to remedy campus organizing learning activities better and adequate for students. Autonomy in education is great potential for integration, interaction, connection and even intra-built scientific connections. Besides, practically also have an impact on enhancing performance, providing excellent service, and order administration. Abstract

Concept of jihad in religious texts in view of Quraish Shihab, and want to know the implications of the missionary movement and understanding in society. often small difference in terms of religion release the horses of war (war) and justify mass genocide, which ironically in the name of god and religion sacred calling. Among the fundamental drivers of violence (violence action) are the respective religions have an understanding tendency toward exclusivism and intolerance. Abstract

There are unwritten rules in society called customary law. The customary law sometimes conflict to the rules of religious. Moreover Muslim not to be involved in acts that are prohibited by the religion of Islam. The custom rules need to be analyzed through consideration of Islamic law which is a method of 'al-'Urf' by conducting to 'as-maslahah mursalah', so that the benefit of religion, life, property, descendent, and intellect maintained properly. This 'aqly' proposition is very useful for people who still impose customs rules that seemed to be obeyed. A good thing is not necessarily true yet according to Islam and the thruth is not conflict with the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet as well as maqashid and asy-syari'ah.
