Jurnal Ilmiah Syi’ar, published by Da’wah Faculty of Bengkulu State Islamic Institut since 2007. The subject covers textual and fieldwork studies with various focuses of communication, conseling, development and empowerment of community, management, and many more (the central focus of Islamic sciences). In the beginning the journal only served as a scholarly forum for the lecturers and professors at internal of the Institute. However, due to the later development with a broader readership, the journal has successfully invited scholars and researchers outside the Institute to contribute.

Development of Da'wah through the Cultural Movement is a model in broadcasting religious teachings that must be considered, through the formation of jama'ah as a social unit (Community). The fact shows that the Indonesian people have a broad cultural diversity and diversity. The most important way that must be done is that a missionary leader, both individually and in groups, must be a figure who is always creative, innovative and tries to have a cultural representative who is then proven in the missionary movement. Every missionary movement needs to formulate a missionary plan whose content of mission remains in accordance with Islamic teachings contained in the Qur'an and Al-Sunnah.

The concept of religious-based community empowerment can be said that the preaching of development seeks to carry out its mission to improve the quality of life of the community, physically and mentally. The effort to improve the quality of life of the community is carried out by bringing them to an Islamic life, by increasing their faith and devotion and their ability to master technology. With the superiority of this body and spirit, the aspiration towards a just, prosperous and inner and prosperous society can be achieved. With this preaching empowerment effort, it has relevance and is in line with the mission of spreading Islam, which is to bring mercy to the universe. Learning from the process of spreading Islam, the process of preaching empowerment should begin on the basis of religion which is then associated with an understanding of various natural phenomena and social problems, all of which are considered as a whole. In the framework of this religious mission, community development is carried out to make a prosperous and inner society. This process is carried out using a pilot model method, which starts with the personal Da'i which is then extended to small environmental communities which are then developed and expanded

Subjective well-being for the elderly is a very urgent matter because with the elderly having a higher assessment of happiness and life satisfaction, the brand tends to act happier and more satisfied. Subjective well-being is a person's perception of his life experience, which consists of cognitive evaluation and affection towards life and presenting in psychological well-being. According to the author, Subjective Well-Being is a form of gratitude in the process of self-evaluation of happiness and life satisfaction that is felt so that the individual himself feels comfort and balance which makes him a complete human being. The support from surrounding people becomes a benchmark and the support of these individuals can enjoy what they really have. Eldery People have good subjective well-being, if their needs are met, have self-esteem, optimism, an acceptable sense of control, openness, positive relationships with others, and an understanding of the meaning and purpose of life. A pleasant feeling is more than a sad feeling. When the elderly feel homesick, they are able to control feelings of sadness by remembering God. Elderly people are said to have high subjective well-being if they experience life satisfaction, often feel joy and rarely feel unpleasant emotions such as sadness or anger. Conversely, individuals are said to have low subjective well-being if they are not satisfied with their lives, experience a little excitement and affection, and more often feel negative emotions.

The term hypnotherapy refers to the word "Hypno" in Greek meaning sleep. Indeed, hypnotherapy healing therapy begins with conditioning the patient in a phase of relaxation (like people fall asleep) before core therapy is carried out. Hypnotherapy works on the human subconscious (alpha state). For the unconscious soul to rise, the patient must enter a state of relaxation, or rest his conscious soul. In this condition, subconscious recording such as perceived health problems will be known. Subconscious records that are wrong or wrong will be updated by giving positive suggestions by the therapist through hypnotherapy. This suggestion is given continuously until the unconscious recording state is reached which is wrongly disappeared and replaced by suggestion positive. The success rate of positive suggestions in patients is certainly different in each person. Depending on the severity of the disease, and the willingness to recover from the patient's self. In Hypnotherapy the healing process can be done in one or several therapies. All depends on the interference experienced. In hypnotherapy, the therapist only acts as a facilitator. Patients who must be proactive and have a strong will to recover. As active subjects, patients must also be cooperative while understanding the intent and purpose of hypnotherapy. There must be an agreement between the patient and the therapist, because the patient is the one who really knows what he is suffering from.

The election of the District Head and Deputy Regent of Kepahiang in 2015 is a decisive democratic process for 5 years. With the election, electing executive officials, namely the Regent and his Deputy in accordance with the rules of the General Election Commission (KPU) No. 7 of 2006. The dynamics of local politics ahead of The election of leader of Kepahiang was increasingly lively approaching election day. The local pair election appeared on the surface, marked by various kinds of political maneuvers carried out by each pair of the election in Kepahiang held on December 9, 2015. The pair of candidates in the 2015 in Kepahiang regency included: the first sequence number was the first pair, Ir. Firdaus Djalani and Bahruddin. Secondly, Dr. Ir. Hidayatullah Sjahid, MM and Netti Herawati, S. Sos and third Bambang Sugianto, SH, M. Hum and Arbi, S.IP. The nomination of the pair Hidayatullah Sjahid and Netti Herawati was carried out by 3 political parties who had seats in the House of Representative (DPRD) of Kepahiang regency. The parties that carry the pair Hidayatullah Sjahid and Netti Herawati include: Nasdem Party, Hanura Party, Gerindra Party. The nomination has been supported by parliamentary parties and non-parliamentary parties in general through three important stages, namely, first, the selection of candidates. Second, filtering and selection that has been netted. Third, the determination of candidates. Political Communication Strategy of Hidayatullah Sjahid and Netti Herawati pairs. Previously, he was also the acting officer (PLT) of the regent in Kepahiang. As a candidate who has held office, Hidayatullah Sjahid's position has a number of advantages over other candidates in the 2015 Kepahiang Regional Election. Besides having political investment in the Kepahiang regional election, Hidayatulah Sjahid as a candidate who has benefited from cooperating with Netti Herawati, who has high popularity in people's eyes.

Communication is a series of activities conveying messages so that feedback is obtained from receiving messages. This also applies to the secretarial public relations department of Communication and Information in Mukomuko District. It must pay attention to how the information is packaged and can be communicated well so that the public or the community can receive the information validly. The success of effective communication activities is largely determined by determining communication strategies. On the other hand, if there is no good communication strategy, the effect of the communication process is not impossible to cause negative effects.The research conducted was descriptive research. This study describes the data in the form of responses from research subjects to upload communication strategies the department of Communication and Information of Mukomuko regency in delivering programs to the community. The Department of Communication and Information Service in Muko-Muko showed that the delivery of information to the public began to enter the digital era. This is also indicated by the existence of information that can be easily obtained by the public such as including on the website or media that makes it easy for people to access. In addition, the information conveyed by Communication and Information Service in Mukomuko regency can be accepted by the public in general so that the community can play an active role in providing input or suggestions regarding to the program of the development of Mukomuko.

Literacy is a problem for various developing countries and among people who are still experiencing illiteracy are women, various strategies and theories used to eradicate literacy among the community. The author described an alternative to literacy eradication for mosque-based women using qualitative methods with a sociological approach. in this research it was found that the stronger the motivation and means of gathering such as mosques, the more opportunities for women to hone their abilities, especially in the field of literacy, would be more open.

Media is not something foreign in this era, but media is still a central part of communication, new media is still new or more widely used by individuals who always communicate, the more sophisticated media that is used will make everyone more eager to communicate in verbal or non verbal forms. Such as the new media that developed in this century is the internet which, according to some people, is something miraculous, but what exactly is it looking for from the new media? Until when can this media survive and be used properly? With the advancement of information and communication technology in this era, news from abroad is so quickly conveyed, long-distance communication can be done face to face. It is undeniable that modern life has been felt by various layers of society. New media is a term to describe the emergence of a new era in communication or interaction, computers, information networks and communication. If traced further the media turns out to bring a new theology (new theology) in religion. Almost all of the people are looking for sources of religious law or theological basis of new media (theology on new media). These conditions are increasingly apparent with the advent of the internet or what is called new media. New media or the internet bring new values in religion for some people. So that with the presence of these new media, some people tend to take religious values through the media.
