Abstract

Elderly can be said as golden age because not everyone can reach old age, so if someone has old age will require more nursing actions, both promotive and preventive, so that he can enjoy the golden age, as well as a useful old age and happy. On the contrary of old age if there is no intensive care of his family then he can not enjoy his golden age with happy. While the elderly are individuals aged 60-65 years old and above, meaning individuals who have the ability to live and sensitivity individually weak, both weak to the physical condition and weak to adjust to the environment. The existing conditions in the elderly tend to potentially cause physical health problems and mental health. Therefore it is necessary guidance and counseling Islam in order to help alleviate the problems it faces. So that the elderly in their daily lives become effective and can think that he is still useful and needed others and has the potential to stick to Islamic values.

Abstract

Subjective well-being for the elderly is a very urgent matter because with the elderly having a higher assessment of happiness and life satisfaction, the brand tends to act happier and more satisfied. Subjective well-being is a person's perception of his life experience, which consists of cognitive evaluation and affection towards life and presenting in psychological well-being. According to the author, Subjective Well-Being is a form of gratitude in the process of self-evaluation of happiness and life satisfaction that is felt so that the individual himself feels comfort and balance which makes him a complete human being. The support from surrounding people becomes a benchmark and the support of these individuals can enjoy what they really have. Eldery People have good subjective well-being, if their needs are met, have self-esteem, optimism, an acceptable sense of control, openness, positive relationships with others, and an understanding of the meaning and purpose of life. A pleasant feeling is more than a sad feeling. When the elderly feel homesick, they are able to control feelings of sadness by remembering God. Elderly people are said to have high subjective well-being if they experience life satisfaction, often feel joy and rarely feel unpleasant emotions such as sadness or anger. Conversely, individuals are said to have low subjective well-being if they are not satisfied with their lives, experience a little excitement and affection, and more often feel negative emotions.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) to describe the role of parents in 2) to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of parents in teaching the Qur'an to children (7-15 years old) in Pagar Dewa Housing Complex RT.45 RW.01 Bengkulu City. The method in this research is included in the type of field research and in terms of the type of data collected is included in the qualitative approach research. The results of the research answer the formulation of the problem, among others, it is known that: 1) Most parents in Pagar Dewa housing RT.45 RW.01 Bengkulu City have played a role in providing guidance, supervision, encouragement to children in reading the Qur'an, and modeling good habits, providing punishment and rewards, and instilling education, especially religious education with Islamic concepts, fulfilling children's needs optimally, although only a few families guide their children directly without entrusting their children to Qur'anic education institutions such as TPA or TPQ; 2) Supporting factors are the existence of Qur'anic educational institutions such as TPA or TPQ while the inhibiting factors of parents in teaching the Qur'an to children are the limited knowledge of parents and parents' busyness, non-agamist environment or association.
