Abstract

The ammount of PKL onJemberCityalways increase continously every time. It caused by a lot of  unemployment becouse of economic crisis that not end yet. Beside that excistency of it help customer expesially low income to get their need. It  was needed to see the PKL problem as a true contex. It is  the problem of  increasing of their whealth of life. The goal of this research are to know demographic & social economic characteristic of PKL and also to know  the enfluence of  amount of work hour, working capital and  experience as PKL to PKL Income on Jember City. The technik sampling is random sampling, all of samples are 100 respondent.  Analysis data is discriptive and analysis statistic called multiple regression analysis. The result of the reasearch show that  45 % of PKL are 35-44 years old. Most of them  have low education. and also 38 % of them get income between Rp 30.000- Rp 39.000. Simoultantly and partially all independent variable (amount of work hour, working capital and  experience as PKL) have a significant effect to PKL Income onJemberCity.

Abstract

The aim of this writing is as the matter of consideration for company, especially for SDM superintendent in giving motivation and paying attention to working area.Based on testing of hypothesis which explain that there is influence collectively or free variable simultaneous (motivation and working area) to variable trussed (working achievement) using doubled linier regression analyzes; conclude that there is significant influence.Based on testing of hypothesis which explain that there is partially influence free variable (motivation and working area) to variable trussed (working achievement) using doubled linier regression analyzes, conclude that there is significant influence.Partial correlation amount between motivation variable and working achievement variable equal to 0,584; partial correlation amount between working area variable and working achievement variable equal to 0,755. So, can be concluded that working area variable has the influence that more dominant to working achievement if compared with motivation.

Abstract

Industrial organizations which a mature stage, which deal with the limited prospects in keeping a high development number (Jarvis &Mayo, 1986) look for a way which they can use to prevent their market. One of the strategies which is identified has a connection with the consumen-supplier relation concept, in which the loyality programs are considered as the most important aspect (Palmer, 1994) In adopting the loyality programs, the companiy’s main focus is not for getting new consumens, but for getting the remained consumens’s loyality, and in the end, for increasing the relation of supplier and consumens (Zeitham/Bitner, 1996). This study discuss the definition, usage & loyality dimention.

Abstract

         There have been arguments that, for Indonesian economic development, competitive advantage will soon replace comparative advantage. It is also argued that one country should not be satisfied with its comparative advantage. As a cpuntry who has enjoyed comparative advantage for about three decades, Indonesia must not be a country that exports labour-intensive commodities forever. It must shift to being a country that exports capital-intensive and high skill intensive commodities. It must also find which commodities are going to be competitive in the world market. A skepticism stems from the fact that the developing countries usually specialize in agricultural products, while the developed countries specialize in manufacturing products. It is also argued that with the current open international free trade, the products of the developing countries will not be able to compete with those from the developed countries.  Key phrases: free-trade, labor-force, traditional industries

Abstract

The goals of the research are to test : 1) the enfluence of ownership structure to dividend policy. 2)  the enfluence of  ownership structure  to agency cost. 3) the enfluence of risk to dividend policy.4) the enfluence of risk to agency cost. 5) the enfluence of  free cash flow to dividend policy. 6) the enfluence of free cash flow to agency cost. 7) the enfluence of dividend policy to firm value. 8) the enfluence of agency cost to firm value.The test result with SEM ( structural equation model) analysis show that for test of goodness of fit overall model give a  value Chi Square 39.757 and p value 0.135 (cut off < 0,05) it means that the model is good. The other criterion give a value RMSEA =   0,046 (cut off £ 0,08), GFI = 0,945 (cut off ³ 0,08)  and AGFI = 0,903 (cut off ³ 0,08). It means that  hypothetic model conseptually and teoritically is supported of empirical data and the model is feasable to be used. The result of structural model  for testing of hypothesis show that only H5 (Free cash flow significantly enfluence dividend policy) and H6 (Free cash flow significantly enfluence agency cost) are statisticly proven  each with p value fix and  0.000Keywords : ownership structure, dividend, agency cost

Abstract

This research is a replica of the impact of costumer service intervention & facility design on firm performance “By Sulek, Lind, and maruchek (1995) and “ An assessment of the relationship between service quality science and costumer satisfaction in the formation of costomer’s purchase intention” by Taylor & Baker (1994). The purpose of this replica researchis caused by the competition of a retail industry which increases rapidly and if the customer satisfaction doesn’t gat a retail attention, the selling & profiy marginlevel go downrapidly, so this research will test the factors which are related to the relaton of the custumer satisfaction that is done by the intervention and service facility design and then it will test the influence of interest/intention the replica done in this research is not the whole replica,but it is modified and adapted to the Indonesian condition specilly in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Karyawan sebagai sumber daya penting bagi perusahaan, perlu diberdayakan dan dikelola secara efektif untuk mencapai tujuannya. Pemeliharaan hubungan yang baik antara karyawan dengan perusahaan antara lain melalui disiplin kerja karyawan. Dalam upaya menciptakan disiplin kerja karyawan, perusahaan perlu memiliki berbagai ketentuan yang harus ditaati para karyawannya. Disiplin merupakan tindakan manajemen untuk mendorong karyawan agar memenuhi tuntutan berbagai ketentuan yagn harus dipenuhi dengan harapan diperoleh semangat kerja karyawan sesuai dengan keinginan perusahaan.Demikian pula terjadi pada PT. Sei Belayan Rimba Jaya Timber Industries di Gresik. Perusahaan ini menyadari pentingnya kedisplinan karyawannya. Secara teoritis disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap semangat kerja karyawan (Nitisemito, 1996:199), oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan dengan judul “ANALISIS DISIPLIN KERJA DAN SEMANGAT KERJA KARYAWAN DI BAGIAN PRODUKSI PADA PT. SEI BELAYAN RIMBA JAYA TIMBER INDUSTRIES DI GRESIK”.Untuk menjawab permasalahan serta hipotesis penelitian, maka dilakukan uji regresi linier berganda dengan hasil sebagai berikut :Koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 74,1%, berarti bahwa faktor-faktor disiplin kerja karyawan yang meliputi: tata tertib kerja perusahaan (X1), pengawasan manajerial (X2), dan disiplin pribadi (X3) secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi semangat kerja karyawan (Y) sebesar 74,1%. Pembuktian hipotesis pertama dilakukan berdasarkan nilai F hitung. Nilai F hitung sebesar 29,505 disertai dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari tingkat kesalahan yang ditolerir yaitu α = 0,05. Koefisien regresi masing-masing variabel bebas adalah X1 = 0,310, X2 = 0,299, X3 = 0,288 dengan konstanta 0,431 sehingga persamaan yang dihasilkan adalah :Y = 0,431 + 0,310 X1 + 0,299 X2 + 0,228 X3Dengan demikian faktor-faktor yang menunjang disiplin kerja baik secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap semangat kerja karyawan PT. Sei Belayan Rimba Jaya Timber Industries di Gresik, sehingga hipotesis pertama diterima kebenarannya.Pembuktian hipotesis kedua dilakukan berdasarkan nilai t hitung. Nilai t hitung setiap variabel bebas mempunyai tingkat kesalahan lebih kecil dari tingkat kesalahan yang ditolerir yaitu α = 0,05. Dimana pengawasan manajerial (X2) memiliki nilai koefisien determinasi parsial tertinggi dibandingkan dengan variabel bebas lainnya, sehingga pengawasan manajerial (X2) merupakan variabel bebas yang dominan mempengaruhi variabel terikat yaitu semangat kerja  (Y). Dengan demikian hipotesis kedua diterima kebenarannya. Kata Kunci: Disiplin Kerja, Semangat
