AbstractOne of the lecturers in the Department of Arabic at IAIN Palangka Raya teaches the reading using newest way and innovation compared to the previous ones. The innovation contains a variety of learning materials, learning strategies and learning evaluation.From this phenomenon, the researcher concluded that in reading skill teaching as done by one of the lecturers at IAIN Palangka Raya, there are some indicators of learning that are based on Vigotsky’s social constructivism theory in which it focuses on the roles of the students and social interaction in learning between the lecturers and the students or interaction among students.The aim of this research is to describe reading skill learning performed by the third semester students of IAIN Palangka Raya in 2016-2017 Academic Year. By looking the phenomena in the field in the perspective of processes, activities and interactions during teaching and learning process.This study is classified as descriptive qualitative research using case study design at IAIN Palangka Raya in 2016-2017.Techniques of data collecton in this research include interview, observation and documentation. The data should be examined by using triangulation.The results of the study can be explained as follows: First, the goal of the teaching reading skill to the third semester students of IAIN Palangka Raya 2016-2017 in the perspectivesof Vygotsky’ social constructivism theory; it can be seen from lecturer’s explanations towards reading skill focusing on discussion together with her students. Discussion is a kind social interactions between the lecturer and her students and social interactions among students. Second, learning materials of learning of reading skill in the view of of Vygotsky’ social constructivism theory, can be seen also from lecturer’s explanation which are relevant to students’ everyday life and their experiences around them. The materials to be used are based on the consideration of the purpose, prior knowledge, time and available place, and the numbers of students who follow the lesson. Third, the strategy of learning in the view of Vygotsky’s social constructivism theory, can be seen from the strategy used by the lecturer such as; cooperative learning strategy, top down processing strategy and discovery learning strategy. These three strategies stress on the roles and the activeness of students in the learning-activities. Fourth, the evaluation of learning of reading skill in the view of Vygotsky’s social constructivism theory can be seen from the learning evaluation of reading skill as applied by the lecturer. The evaluation not only tests and examines one aspect of the skill, but also covers all aspects of the shill at once. Test of reading skill, not only deal with reading skill but also it covers other skills such as speaking skill, writing skills, structure and translation.

The immigration of Prophet Muhammad, otherwise known as the Hijrah, was not about running away from being killed, nor was it about fear, or a retreat from bidding the lawful or forbidding the unlawful. The Hijrah was done in obedience to what Allah had ordered. During the Hajj season, when the people gathered, the Prophet peace be upon him used to call them to Islam and say to them: “say no one is God except Allah and then you will succeed”.The Prophet was very patient with what the blasphemers had done to him. His companions tolerated many types of torture including whipping, hitting, imprisonment, burning, and execution. Yet when they gained the support and aid from Allah, it was as if they had turned into a solid rock that could not be scratched. Their pious heartbeats and their silent supplications shook the hearts and thrones of the disbelievers.Keyword: Immigration, Prophet Muhammad, Hijrah

AbstractDictionaries, a book that includes the largest number of vocabulary combined with explaining and interpreting their meaning, to be material arranged a special arrangement: either the letters of the alphabet, or on the subject. It is called a dictionary because the nouns remove the confusion and clarify the vagueness. The complete of dictionary, which includes every word in accompanied by explaining its mean and its derivation and the method of its pronunciation and evidence showing its language positions used.Lexicology is the part of linguistics that interest with the study of words, its nature and its mean, the elements of words, the relations between words (semantic relationships), the sets of words and the study of each lexicon of a language. AbstractTo uncover the causes that give rise to a lack of student interest in participating in language activities. To uncover strategies to increase student interest in participating in language activities in Arabic Language Study Program Faculty of Education and Teaching in IAIN Bengkulu.In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods for this study by observation, interviews and documents. Language activities include teaching and learning activities every Wednesday, Weekly Arabic activities, vocabulary sharing activities, lectures, dramas. Lack of a clear curriculum led to the failure to achieve the objectives of this activity, the lack of relationship between teachers and students, the relationship between students and the students because many students does not make affect other students, the lack of discipline in the MLA, no media to learn.Key Word: Enthusiasm of students; Language activity; Teaching Arabic

Abstract In the language teaching has four language skills are listening skills, speech skills, reading skills, and writing skills. Writing is a fourth skill in terms of ranking in education.Skill writing is the most important material between subjects. This Article discuss what are the theories of the image description technique in the learning of writing skills and how to implement in the learning of writing skills. The description technique in the teaching of writing skill is the technique used to find the idea in the expression of images and to make organizational writing in the teaching of writing skill. There are also types of expression of images, and steps in teaching the skill of writing, the main result is that the implementation of the images description technique in the teaching of writing skill contains three stages is the stage before writing, writing stage, and post-writing. Abstract This research is about "similarities and differences between Arabic and Indonesian in the phenomenon of tandem - and how to deal with this phenomenon in teaching Arabic to Indonesians." The importance of Arabic is also reflected in the fact that is the key of Islamic and Arab culture. It allows learner to learn about the cultural and intellectual dimensions of a nation that has been crowned on the throne for centuries. It has left a great cultural heritage in various arts and sciences.The importance of Arabic stems from the fact that it is one of the strongest links and links between Muslims. Language is one of the most important elements of unity among Islamic societies. Arabic is no longer a language specific to Arabians, but has become a universal language for millions of Muslims in the world today demand for their connection to their religion and Islamic culture. We also see a desire to learn the arabic language for non-Muslims to communicate with the people of the language on the one hand and to communicate with the Arab and Islamic heritage on the other.Features of Arabic Tandem. It is an important factor in the growth of language, two words or more that indicate one meaning. We can use it without separating them. The speaker observes the exact order in the choice of the word of the synonyms corresponding to the sentence.It is interesting that Arabic is the only language that gives citizenship to anyone who speaks it. "Whoever learns Arabic is an Arabian."There is almost unanimous agreement that tandem is one of the reasons for the richness of language in vocabulary, whether it is Arabic, Indonesian, or other languages. And its privilege with a wealth of words. There have been many works that collected the vocabulary of this phenomenon in the ancients in particular, which reinforces this statement to the extent that it is surprising, such as the names of one thing to thousands of words.
