Abstract

Stunting is one of the recent health issues in Samarinda city. The result of research showed that 32,5% of children has experienced stunting in around Bukit Pinang final disposal in 2020. Stunting were caused by various factor, such us environmental factors water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). Based on the data, it needed intervention activity such us education  about stunting and WASH. The activity aimed to analyze the level of knowledge about stunting and WASH. The method of this activity through discussion and pre-post test questionnaire. The result of data analysy reported that there was the significant difference between before and after education abaut stunting (p = 0.032) and WASH (p = 0.008). It recommend to continue the education activities due to analyse the level of behavior about this project.

Abstract

Aldercy Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a kindergarten located in Kadipiro, Banjarsari, Surakarta City, Central Java. During the pandemic, students must be able to implement health protocols and maintain dental and oral health by brushing their teeth properly. PAUD teachers can become cadres for their students to provide education and training on those issues. The purpose of this activity is to carry out one of the components of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service. The benefits of this activity are forming cadres, namely Aldercy PAUD teachers, so they can provide education about health protocols during a pandemic and dental and oral health for students at Aldercy PAUD. The method of service is lectures and training on health protocols during a pandemic and dental and oral health. The target audience was 12 Aldercy PAUD teachers. The results showed that this activities ran smoothly and participants were enthusiastic. Aldercy The participants were also trained to become dental and oral health cadres. The participants are expected to provide education regarding oral health protocols to their students, as well as maintain the program by supervising and fostering health protocols during the pandemic and maintaining oral and dental health.

Abstract

Fall is one of the most case that occur on elderly. Exercise such as  elderly gymnastic can overcome the problem of falling in elderly. It can increase flexibility, muscle strength, balance, and also reduce the risk of falls and injury. There needs to be a study of the eldery gymnastic correaltion with the risk of falls. This study aims to determine the correlation between elderly gymnastics with risk of falls based on DGI. Methods: This study was an analytic observational study with cross sectional approach. Sample was taken by purposive sampling. Samples were taken by 30 respondents that consist of 15 respondents join gymnastic elderly and 15 respondenst didn't join gymnastic elderly program. Respondents assessed the risk of falling by the DGI. Data were analyzed using Chi Square test, Fisher absolute test and Relative Risk (RR) measurement. Results: The result showed the value of p = 0.003 with a RR of 0.2, which showed significant research as p <0.05. Most respondents at the age of 60-74 years old and most were male. Conclusions:Elderly Gymnastic will reduce the risk of falls in elderly.

Abstract

Digital marketing optimization is a society service program done by lecturers and student of the English Department at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The society service is aimed at empowering a local community called Dheling Arts Community in Rogomulyo Village, Semarang Regency to develop their Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) focusing on bamboo working. The community's life (93%) highly depends on traditional farming and bambooworking. In selling and marketing bambooworking products, the community relies on consignment selling and marketing which relatively give small profit. consignment selling and marketing methods are challenged its effectiveness amidst digital development not to mention digital marketing and business. Thus, the empowerment program is performed to give the underlying concept of digital marketing and business so that the SME can reach wider potential buyers using digital marketing tools and platforms. This program was conducted using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) emphasizing the active targeted society involvement. The program resulted in a better understanding of the digital marketing concept. In addition, the local community successfully created a digital marketing media and an e-commerce account to market and sell their products of bamboo working.

Abstract

The toddler healthy kitchen program is an empowerment movement that emerged during the covid 19 pandemic as a solution for monitoring and fulfilling toddler nutrition through posyandu in the Aisyiah Prenggan, Kota Gede, Yogyakarta. This program involves posyandu cadres in the aisyiah community. Due to limited knowledge, funds, and the number of cadres, this activity cannot run optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to create an empowerment program to maximize healthy kitchen activities for toddlers, such as: providing healthy menus with balanced nutrition for infants and toddlers in the Aisyiah branch, Prenggan, Kota Gede. The methods that is excecuted are: doing observation to the community service location, distributing of the food menu, and checking the infants/toddlers’s weight. Community service activities have been carried out by implementing the health protocol by providing healthy menus for 20 infants/toddlers. It can be conclude that there is an increas in the infants/toddlers’s weight about 78.95%.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one of the driving forces of the economy in a household and can be used to improve the economy in an area. The more people who have the passion and desire in entrepreneurship will be able to create jobs and reduce unemployment so that the economy in an area will increase. To be able to have an entrepreneurial spirit, a creative and innovative thinking is needed in running a business,. At this time batik which is one of the inheritances from our ancestors is starting to be favored by all people for various things including for modern clothing, interior goods. Therefore need to create creative works of art by exploring and combining ecoprint and batik techniques into textile artworks. In this service activity, we try to provide training on making ecoprint batik by utilizing existing natural resources, namely leaves by going through various stages, namely: the mordanting stage, sketching, steaming, lifting and cooling the fabric, color locking and drying. This training was attended by women from the Department of Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries of Balikpapan City. The results of this service show that the training participants are enthusiastic about taking the training seriously, which is shown by the participants following from beginning to end and they practice how to make ecoprint at the training site.

Abstract

Health equipment is a very crucial component in health services. In Indonesian Hospitals, the quality of medical devices is carried out by the Hospital Facility Maintenance Installation, which is abbreviated as IPSRS. Generally, IPSRS staff consists of human resources who have qualifications in Electromedical, Public Health, and Management qualifications. HR who carry out maintenance and repairs, hereinafter referred to as Preventive Maintenance Inspection (IPM) of medical devices, are HR with electromedical qualifications. Cath Lab is the latest technology in the medical world. Therefore, many electromedical technicians do not understand the latest developments in the Cath Lab IPM process. In order to prepare hospital services with quality Cath Lab tools, reliable human resources are needed in carrying out their HDI. For this reason, training on HDI from this Cath Lab equipment is needed. This HDI training was attended by 534 participants from all over Indonesia which was carried out through the Zoom Meetings Application. This training succeeded in increasing the ability of participants by 22.28% from the initial ability of 46.48% to 68.76%. The participants' satisfaction with the reliability of the resource persons, activity themes, communication, committee and media used in the training activities was 86.57% in the very satisfied category.

Abstract

This community service aims to transfer knowledge to the public regarding knowledge and skills for MSME actors in Balikpapan City to compile financial reports for Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) using the SIAPIK application issued by Bank Indonesia. The first steps of this service activity use tutorial and workshop methods to explain in theory and practice how to prepare financial statements using the SIAPIK application in recording financial transactions in accordance with SAK EMKM. Second, assistance was carried out regarding the recording of financial transactions through the use of the SIAPIK application to MSMEs in Balikpapan City.
