Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and impact of marketing content on consumer purchasing decisions in the context of e-commerce business feasibility studies. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, employing thematic analysis on seven students from the 2022 Sharia Accounting cohort who actively use e-commerce platforms. Data were collected through structured interviews based on five aspects of marketing content (informativeness, entertainment, credibility, personalization, and visual appeal) and the five stages of consumer purchasing decisions. The results indicate that marketing content plays a crucial role in influencing all stages of the purchasing process, from need recognition to post-purchase behavior. Informative and credible content builds trust, while entertaining, personalized, and visually appealing content enhances interest and engagement. These findings affirm that marketing content is not merely a promotional tool but also a key indicator in digital business feasibility studies, as it reflects product value, gauges market response, and supports operational and financial planning. This research offers practical contributions for e-commerce entrepreneurs in designing effective content strategies and academic contributions to the development of digital marketing studies within the scope of business feasibility. Keywords: Business Feasibility Study, E-Commerce, Generation Z, Marketing Content, Purchasing Decision

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the role of clean water donations as a strategic instrument in improving the welfare of MSMEs through production efficiency and poverty alleviation using the maqasid al-syari‘ah approach, particularly hifẓ al-nafs and hifẓ al-mal. The method used is qualitative research based on field research through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) with 10-20 informants, which are analysed using Participatory Impact Assessment (PIA). The results show that the clean water charity model based on communal well waqf, which is built on four main pillars, can be strengthened through the use of digitalisation. Digitalisation not only serves as a means of financial recording and reporting, but is also developed in the form of a water charity distribution application that facilitates online donations, real-time monitoring of water distribution, and mapping of beneficiaries. This mechanism enhances transparency, public participation, and governance efficiency. The sustainability of the model is supported by a cross-subsidy scheme, whereby MSME contributions guarantee free access to clean water for the poor, while surplus funds are allocated for microfinance and MSME training. This research contributes to a blueprint for the development of non-APBD-based clean water infrastructure based on inclusive economics and sharia at the village level. Keywords: Clean Water Charity, Culinary Msmes, Digital Charity Application, Productive Waqf, Sharia-Based Inclusive Economy

Abstract

This study analyzes determinants from financial reporting information quality in Regional Government Organizations (OPD) of Langsa City, Indonesia. Despite consistently obtaining an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from Audit Board of Indonesia, audit findings still reveal weaknesses in internal control and revenue management, indicating a gap between audit opinions and actual reporting quality at the operational level. This study detects this breach by examining the effects from human resource competence, internal control systems, and transparency. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were accumulated from 72 financial officers across 36 OPDs and assessed utilizing multiple linear regression. The outcomes stipulate that human resource competence is the most influential determinant, while transparency shows a positive but marginal effect. Internal control systems exhibit a statistically significant yet very weak contribution. Simultaneously, all variables significantly affect financial reporting quality, although the explanatory power from model remains limited. The novelty from this study sits in demonstrating that WTP status does not necessarily reflect strong operational-level financial reporting quality. Policy implications emphasize improving accounting competencies, strengthening effective internal control implementation, and enhancing transparency to support more accountable local government financial reporting. Keywords: Financial Reporting Quality, Human Resource Competence, Internal Control System, Local Government, Transparency

Abstract

This study examines the effect of career development and work environment on employee performance, mediated by job satisfaction, at Puskesmas Abang I, Karangasem Regency. Using a census method, the entire population of 61 employees was selected as the sample. Data were analyzed through validity and reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and path analysis. The findings reveal that both career development and work environment significantly and positively affect job satisfaction and employee performance. Moreover, job satisfaction itself has a direct positive impact on performance. The mediating role of job satisfaction is confirmed, as it significantly transmits the effects of both career development and work environment on employee performance. These results highlight the strategic importance of fostering employee satisfaction to enhance overall performance outcomes. It is recommended that management prioritize structured career advancement programs, improve workplace conditions-particularly occupational safety through adequate personal protective equipment (PPE), and establish transparent promotion systems. Additionally, performance can be strengthened by implementing clear standard operating procedures (SOPs). These implications emphasize the need for an integrated human resource development approach to sustain and improve institutional service quality in public health centers. Abstract

The increasing complexity of workplace demands and individual expectations has made the alignment between Person-job fit and work-life balance have emerged as key concerns in contemporary organizational management. This study examines how the alignment between individual characteristics and job requirements, together with employees' ability to balance work and personal life, affects job satisfaction and ultimately influences employee performance at Puskesmas Kubu. I, Karangasem, Bali. A quantitative approach was employed using path analysis to examine causal relationships, with data collected through a census of 65 employees. The instrument passed validity and reliability tests and was analysed using SPSS v26. Findings reveal: (1) The findings indicate that both person-job fit and work-life balance have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction and employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction plays a mediating role in strengthening the relationship between person-job fit and employee performance, while it does not function as a mediator in the relationship between work-life balance and performance. Based on these insights, two key recommendations are proposed: first, enhance Person-Job Fit by aligning job roles with individual competencies and needs; second, improve Work-Life Balance policies to sustain employee well-being and performance. Abstract

The development of the gig economy has transformed income streams into irregular, project-based arrangements, posing new challenges for the concept of calculating professional zakat. Meanwhile, discussions on fiqh and zakat legislation remain focused on fixed income structures. This creates a conceptual gap in the application of professional zakat in the gig economy ecosystem. This study aims to formulate a new concept in the professional zakat calculation model in the context of the gig economy, focusing on digital market platform workers such as influencers and TikTokers in Surabaya with a sample of three influencers and two TikTokers. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews. The results show that zakat in the gig economy is calculated based on real-time income flows rather than annual accumulations. This model reflects contextual justice and spiritual accountability, in accordance with the principles of maqasid sharia. This research contributes a new zakat calculation model that is suitable for contemporary gig-based livelihoods, which is ultimately unique because it offers theoretical refinement and practical guidance for modern zakat governance. Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed digital marketing within e-commerce. However, the effects of AI on customer loyalty, data ethics, and legal compliance are frequently examined in isolation, resulting in limited understanding of their combined influence in developing markets. This study investigates how AI-based marketing, ethical considerations, and legal regulations affect the loyalty of Shopee users in West Java, with a focus on Generation Z and Millennials. A survey of 120 individuals from the academic community in West Java was conducted, and multiple linear regression was employed to ensure analytical accuracy and reliability. The results indicate that AI-driven marketing, responsible data management, and adherence to legal regulations collectively enhance online customer loyalty. Notably, compliance with personal data protection laws emerged as the most influential factor in fostering loyalty. Although AI facilitates personalized marketing, regulatory clarity and transparency are the primary drivers of sustained user trust. The findings suggest that contemporary customer loyalty depends not only on technological innovation but also on transparent data practices and robust legal compliance. This research provides online businesses with foundational guidance for maintaining success through responsible conduct and the protection of user data. Keywords: Artifficial Intelligence, Customer Loyalty, Data Ethics, E-commerce, Legal Compliance
