Abstract

This research is held with objectives: 1) to see the trend planted area and production of rubber, coconut, coffee, cacao, cassievera and gambir as superior and specific plantation small holder plantation in West Sumatra; 2) to forecast the planted area and production of these commodity in the next five years. The objectives are reached through regression method using time series secondary data of planted area and production from year 2002 to 2011, depends on available. The result show that the trends of planted area for rubber, cacao, gambir are increasing every year with amount: 3.295,303 ha for rubber; 163,382 ha for coconut; 16.396,743 ha for cacao and 459,503 ha for gambir. Based on their trends, in the year 2016 planted area for rubeer is estimated will be 180.398 ha, coconut 92.331 ha, cacao 195.392 ha, and gambir will be 23.956 ha.

Abstract

This research aims to avaluate macro economy and financial performance as a money follow function in regional autonomy implementation by comparative study in Padang and Bukittinggi Munipacility in 2005-2008 fiscal years. The result shows the economy structure of Padang from the economic sector's contribution to GDP is not so much different from Bukittinggi; the purchasing power of Padang and Bukittinggi indicate increasing trend; highest inflation rate in 2008 in Bukittinggi on average goods and services; unemployment rate in Padang and Bukittinggi during the 2007-2008 period experienced significant growth, respectively grew by 10,90% and 7,71%; Padang tas ratio is quite stable average os 0,95% per year, while the tas rate of Bukittinggi is an average of 0,86% er year; while the ratio of local financial performance of Padang and Bukittinggi was good but this result is inversely proportional when compared to 2006 and 2007 respectively by -0,50 and -0,29 (elasticitu minus indicates that the performance of local government is not optimal). Finally, the ability of local financial of Padang and Bukittinggi in 2005-2006 has decreased but increased in 2007.

Abstract

Referring to the minister of home affairs regulation No. 13 of 2006 that any remedy authorized SKPD independently manage financial resources and operational activities including planning, budgeting, administration, accounting, reporting, and accountability areas. This researc aimed to understand the implementation of the internal control system in Bungi Regency Government, to understand the contrains faced in the implementation of the internal control system in Bungo Regency Govenrment, and to obtain an understanding of the efforts made in implementing internal control systems in Bungo Regency Govenrment. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative epproach. Overall, the implementation and application of the internal control system in Bungi was in quite a performance level value of 49.12%. These result obtained from the sum of the five elements in internal control system: (1) 55,57% of the control environment, (2) risk assessment by 50%, (3) control activities by 44,44%, (4) information and communication amounted to 41,07%, and (5) monitoring of 54,54%. Assessment of the implemnetation of the SPI is quite significant in assessing the potential and shortcomings in the implementation of the elements of the internal control system. The internal control system in Bungo still has many short comings in the implementation, this can be seen from the result of assessments totaliting 49,12%, although this figure is enough overall, but for the details of each element of the internal control it is known that many weaknesses that need attention from the Government Bungo.

Abstract

The Millenium Development's Goals (MDG's) are eight international development goals that were officially established following the millenium summit of the united nations in 2000, following the adoption of the united millenium declaration. All 193 united nations member states and at least 23 international organization have agrees to achieve these goals by the year 2015. To achieve MDG's terget, West Sumatra need to take extra effort because several indicators still take time to achieve MDG's target. It takes 10 years since 2010 to halve poverty rate, 10 years to eradicate illiteracy, 14 years to reach 100% basic education enrollment, 12 years to reduce two third child mortality since 2010, 15 years to reduce two third of mother mortality since 2010, 117 years to free slump dweller, and 7 years to access clean water for houschold since 2010.

Abstract

Annual report awars affect the return of the company, in order to obtain an indication that companies are implementing GCG well responded by the market that investors. This research aimed to obtain the differences of abnormal return by before, at the time, and after annual report award of announcement period. Sampling was done in purposive sampling, which is a sampling based on a common characteristic that is inherent in a sample, the goal is to specialize which companies deserve the ARA Award. Before perfoming the hypothesis testing conducted prior to normality test. Normality testing was intended to see whether the sample data are normally distributed or not. Normality testing was conducted using one sample kolmogorov-smirnov test contained in the SPSS program. The hypothesis to be tested in this study using the event study with paired sample t-test. The result shows that abnormal return differences between befors and during also after the announcement of ARA. This research recomended that market adjusted model must be choise by return estimated with market index.

Abstract

Banking industry has the primary function is to collect and distribute funds third party in order to improve societies welfare. To perform these functions, the Bank it self should be at the level of good health of bank financial. PT. Bank Permata is research object that publicated financial report during 2008. CAMEL method are used to identify PT. Bank Permata, Tbk will be categorized at the level of good health of bank financial. Assessment of the ratio of capital with a weight of 25%, get the result that the bank is considered healthy, in terms of assets with a 30% weighting also produces a predicate that the bank is healthy as well as assessment of bank earnings (profitability) result obtained that bank soundness is very good. It's just in terms of liquidity (weighting 10%), health of bank s are in a healthy position, due to the value of loans greater than the funds received by the bank. It is anticipated that in the absence of financing during 2008 to minimize the risk of decline in bank. From these results it is recommended that banks take action to improve liquiduty. Also expand market share, increase promotion and further empower wxisting human resources by increasing motivation to what the objective are achieve.
