Abstract

Based on Riskesdas data, the prevalence of tumors / cancer in Indonesia shows an increase from 1.4 per 1000 population in 2013 to 1.79 per 1000 population in 2018. For the prevention and control of cancer in Indonesia, especially the two most types of cancers in Indonesia, namely cancer breast and cervix, the government has made various efforts including early detection of breast cancer and cervical cancer in women aged 30-50 years using the Clinical Breast Examination (SADANIS) method or Self Breast Examination (SADARI). The problem of breast examination should be done alone as an initial screening. Members of Dawis Mawar 3 are women of reproductive age, where of the 25 members there have been incidents of 2 people suffering from breast tumors and 1 person with enlargement in the armpit gland, but the condition makes 1 person visit an alternative clinic. Therefore, we are interested in doing community service about the importance of BSE training in Pasir Kidul Subdistrict, West Purwokerto. Keywords: Breast cancer, breast self-exam, cadre

Abstract

Tuntutan perkembangan dan persaingan aneka produk makanan sudah semakin gencar dan perlu kreatifitas pelaku usaha agar dapat memenangkannya. Meningkatkan nilai tambah suatu produk melalui diversifikasi atas produk awalannya tersebut bukan sebuah keniscaan. Keadaan tersebut memotivasi penulis untuk tertantang melalukan pengembangan produk tahu biasa menjadi tahu baxo yang banyak disukai kaum millenial.Tulisan ini bertujuan: untuk meningkatkan mutu tampilan dan kualitas kemasan tahu/aneka tahu menjadi lebih menarik; dan untuk meningkatkan volume hasil penjualan pada industri rumah tangga pengrajin tahu sehingga dapat menembus pasar yang lebih luas.Adapun manfaat yang diperoleh yaitu: meningkatnya mutu kemasan dan kualitas produk industri skala rumah tangga pengrajin tahu yang dikemas menjadi lebih menarik. Produk yang telah dikemas dengan kantong plastik tebal (0,88 mm) akan kedap udara dan memiliki tampilan kemasan yang menarik. Di sisi lain juga akan diperoleh meningkatnya cara penyajian pengrajin tahu melalui diversifikasi tahu baxo dan yang pada gilirannya berakibat meningkatnya permintaan dari produk tersebut sehingga meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat pengrajin tahu.

Abstract

Hypertension is still a big challenge in Indonesia and is a health problem with a high prevalence. Based on data from Puskesmas 2 Purwokerto Utara, hypertension sufferers in RW 3 Sumampir Village, Purwokerto Utara District, Banyumas Regency are quite a lot. Management of hypertension can be done using drugs or by way of lifestyle modification. The expected goals of community service are the availability of independent groups of people with hypertension, the availability of digital tensimeters, digital scales and can operate well, describing physical activity, eating patterns, resting habits and smoking habits of hypertensive patients. The service method is done through health education (lectures and discussions). Based on the results of community service in RW 3 Sumampir Village, Purwokerto Utara District, Banyumas Regency it can be concluded that community service activities can increase the skills of hypertension sufferers on the operation of digital tensimeter devices and digital scales, get an overview of physical activity, eating patterns, resting habits and smoking habits of hypertensive sufferersKeywords: Hypertension, Lifestyle

Abstract

Karang Taruna merupakan sebuah wadah untuk mengembangkan generasi muda yang tumbuh dan berkembang atas dasar kesadaran dan tanggung jawab sosial dari, oleh dan untuk masyarakat. Lembaga karang taruna merupakan lembaga resmi yang diakui keberadannya, pertumbuhan ekonomi diberdayakan dipedesaan sangat membutuhkan motivas, peningkatan kreativitas, produktifitas, dan penguasaan pasar untuk penguasaan pasar membutuhkan kemitraan. Peningkatan produktivitas dan penguasaan pasar, dalam rangka menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan potensi ekonomi kerakyatan, sehingga perlu di ciptakan kondisi yang dapat mendorong pertumbuhan dan pengembangannya.Persoalan yang dihadapi oleh Karang Taruna  Gempita Jaya 10 Kemutug Lor, adalah Kegiatan Karang Taruna yang masih bersifat rekreatif dan hanya sekedar pengisi waktu luang, kurang tanggapnya sikap masyarakat terhadap pengembangan kualitas Karang Taruna dan keraguan pemerintah Desa terhadap potensi Karang Taruna sehingga sedikit peluang pada peran pembangunan.Persoalan Karang Taruna Satria Jaya Kemutug Kidul, hanya terpaku pada program-program ekonomi Karang Taruna yang selalu diarahkan pada upaya peningkatan taraf kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat dengan tujuan mengurangi pengangguran, disamping itu para anggota tidak memiliki ketrampilan yang memadai untuk bersaing dengan kemajuan jaman.Padahal industri teknologi informasi saat ini banyak menawarkan peluang usaha.Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk permasalahan kedua mitra yaitu, diadakan program pelatihan keterampilan komputer dan diharapkan anggota Karang Taruna memiliki keahlian yang tersertifikasi, sehingga mampu bersaing di dunia kerja serta mampu melakukan usaha mandiri. Kata kunci: karang taruna, pelatihan, ketrampilan, teknologi informasi

Abstract

National seed systems still relying on the conventional production system and still need to increase the capacity of efficient seed potatoes technology to achieve independence seed producers in potato production centers. Empowerment of seed breeders through aeroponic technology is expected to increase the motivation of people in the implementation of the national potato seed technology innovation. Activities include training to enlighten the knowledge aspect of aeroponic technology innovation and national potato seed system. Making demonstration plots and aeroponic systems sterile media net home with intensive support can convince the public of the benefits of aeroponic technology for seed potatoes and potato agribusiness community. In general, the activities have been carried out according to plan with the physical performance of the activity by 100%, and the implementation of training activities and demonstration plots rewind time because farmers are not ready due to the busyness of the growing season as well as the financing of late. Seed potato training activities held on July 19, 2014, in the House of Mr. Warsono. Training materials presented include Aeroponic Technology in Potato Breeding, Seed Potato System National Potato Cultivation Technology Conservation and Production Systems Business Media sterile in Potato Quality. Through the training forum also gathered information on the seed and potato cultivation by farmers as well as to evaluate the implementation of the technology transfer to the questionnaire questions in the form of pre-test and post-test. Increasing knowledge about seed potato growers in aeroponics, and also increase its capacity as seed kentan. Seed potatoes (seeding) is aeroponics and seeding potato in sterile media has been practiced by farmers and plants grow normally. Farmers optimistic partners can perform independently seed potatoes after following the steps in training activities.

Abstract

Binangun Village, Banyumas Regency is one of the centers for producing melinjo and the main processed product produced is emping melinjo. IKM Mustika Langgeng Jaya is a community that produces melinjo chips and banana chips which aims to improve the welfare of its members. However, this IKM does not know and has not yet applied processed technology based on local raw materials, the products produced are limited to emping melinjo, the packaging used is still simple and has not included a label so that short shelf life and low marketing reach. Therefore, diversification of melinjo processed products is needed, improvement of product packaging and labeling as well as the application of quality management and food safety so that products from IKM are safe for consumption. The program is carried out using counseling, training, demonstration plot or pilot practices as well as mentoring. This activity can improve the welfare of IKM Mustika Langgeng Jaya.
