Abstract

Tariffs are one of the driving forces of the economy, so electrical energy providers should be more effective in presenting electrical energy so that the basic electricity tariffs can be cheaper, one way is to reduce power losses in the transmission process. power losses arise because the transmission conductor has resistance values, power losses can increase if the voltage in the transmission system decreases, in the case study taken at PT PLN (Persero) UPT Karawang Gardu Induk (GI) 150 KV maligi the direction of the conductor Indoliberty 150 KV transmission when the average load in one day is 18.85 MW and 10.01 MVAr there is a power loss of 7065.05 W in one day when the voltage is 150 KV, and power losses increase by 411.17 W when there is avoltage drop of 2.8766% from a voltage of 150 KV to 145.82 KV which increases the cost loss of Rp. 9838,396 per day.

Abstract

The process of opening and closing the fence manually is less effective, forexample, residents of the house have to go down and open the gate manually by pulling or pushing it by hand, whereas for certain conditions, such as when itrains, opening and closing the fence manually will make it difficult. . Thepurpose of this paper is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the gateopening and closing process, where the process of opening and closing the fence can be done practically by using a DC motor connected to an Arduino Uno and an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04. The process of opening and closing the door will be faster because the driver does not need to push open the fence or close the fence.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a primary need to supply all aspects of community needs andactivities for electricity. For this reason, maintenance is carried out to improve efficiency, quality, and distribution of electrical power. The PMT at thesubstations is used as a mechanical switch or as a circuit breaker. The methodused in this study was qualitative and quantitative to determine the presence of anomalies in electrical distribution. Based on in service/visual inspection, the condition of the equipment is good visually, and there is no anomalies were found. Testing at an insulation resistance, the rise and fall of the measurement results can be caused by several factors such as the wrong position of the measuring instrument, a dirty insulator body, or high humidity levels.
