Abstract

With intense job competition, skills are needed that can give them an advantage over other candidates. Skills greatly affect what kind of work you want. When choosing a job, the important thing to have is hard skills. Hard skills can be learned by anyone. One of the places to improve hard skills is by using an online course platform. Currently, there are lots of online courses to improve skills, but many users are still confused about choosing the right course. The category of courses that are only divided according to academic knowledge and the absence of difficulty levels in the courses also make users confused about choosing a course. Therefore, from this problem an idea and solution was made in the form of an online course prototype called Skilverse. In this research, the method used is a Design Thinking approach which has 5 stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The prototype that has been made is also tested on respondents to validate whether the solution that has been made can solve user problems. The test method uses SEQ, namely by giving a task to the respondent by giving a Likert scale from 1 to 7.

Abstract

ADA Bakery is a conventional store, where buyers come physically to buy bread. The promotional media used only use whatsapp and posters displayed in the store, so that product information sold is only limited to the store environment. One of the main points in selling is getting more customers, therefore we need a way so that product information can be marketed more broadly. By utilizing this technology, one of them can be done by marketing it through e-commerce media in order to increase sales significantly. E-commerce development for ADA Bakery is based on Codeigniter Framework, where an open source web application framework and PHP programming language are built dynamically.

Abstract

The use of an internet connection in a company such as a hotel is an important part. As the need for internet services increases, hotels must choose an Internet Service Provider (ISP) vendor according to their needs. This research takes a case study at a 4-star hotel in South Jakarta. The process of selecting ISP vendors is still carried out conventionally and the determination of vendors is appointed directly by Corporate Digital and IT Managers, thus experiencing several obstacles. Among them, the assessment is done subjectively so that the results of the decision are less objective. In addition, it does not yet have a weighted value on the criteria used, so it is not clear which criteria are more important than other criteria. Then, there is no Decision Support System (DSS) application, so there is no recommendation for the selected vendor. Therefore, researchers tried to make DSS in order to create a more objective and effective decision. Some of the criteria set are Bandwidth, Price, List of clients, Customer and Technical Support, and Additional Services determined by the Digital and IT Division at the Hotel. The method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to calculate the weight value of the criteria, apnd tested with Software Expert Choice 11, and the SAW method is used to determine the priority ranking of the selected alternative vendors, with varied criteria trends along with the benefit and cost criteria categories. . This study resulted in an application of ISP vendor selection DSS by providing recommendations for selected vendors with the right method. Through the SPK application for selecting ISP vendors by applying the AHP and SAW methods which provide recommendations for selected vendors, it can assist decision makers in determining ISP vendors objectively and effectively according to their needs

Abstract

Variants of covid in Indonesia continue to grow and make people required to stay at home and are not required to go out if they don't have important things, therefore many people who stay at home often play social media such as twitter, it is possible that many irresponsible people make opinions or hoaxes with a specific purpose to make tweets that are not in accordance with the facts, which are feared to make the public more panicked about the increase in this covid-19 variant. Therefore this study was conducted to classify tweets as positive, negative, and neutral. The methodology used is a text mining process with 4 modelings using Support Vector Machine and Particle Swarm Optimization. The results obtained from the 4th modeling produce an accuracy of 83% on the linear kernel. While the PSO modeling in scenario 4 with 90:10 data division resulted in the highest accuracy in linear and polynomial kernels of 86% and 87%, respectively. Other evaluation values also improved, such as precision to 90%, recall to 83%, and f1-score to 86%.
