Abstract

This research is motivated by a tendency shown by NGOs, namely their clear vision and mission began to side with community development. During the New Order era, their existence was more positioned as an institution that always inconvenienced every government policy. Synergy or good cooperation patterns between the Government Bureaucracy and LPIP (NGOs) are very important in empowering coastal communities. The purpose of this study is to obtain accurate information about the community's response to the development efforts carried out by the government and NGOs. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that: 1). LPIP NGOs in dealing with several conflicts offer a different approach, namely using an approach strategy that places the community as the main actor by involving them (community leaders, bureaucracy, entrepreneurs) as mediators

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is one of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia. The existence of Muhammadiyah in Banyuwangi creates a conflict for Muslims, especially in Banyuwangi. This relates to the existence of the NU organization which had been established earlier than the Muhammadiyah organization. The existence of the Muhammadiyah organization which was overshadowed influenced the power of NU which affected the number of masses who followed the two organizations. In its development the Muhammadiah organization became a political party. This is influenced by the condition of the community, assistance from charities, and the role of the government. This is also what indirectly becomes the influence of the masses to be in it.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is one of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia. The existence of Elections in Indonesia's national history were carried out several times, namely during the Old Order era, namely 1955, the New Order period 1971, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992 and 1997. Elections for a democratic country like Indonesia are very important because elections are a channel for people's aspirations. Elections that have been held in Indonesia have their own characteristics with differing democratic levels, so the truth of the argument needs to be proven in order to obtain an accurate answer. The results obtained from this study that the implementation of general elections in the Old Order period can already be categorized as democratic elections, with the many parties participating in the general election signifying the existence of freedom in political life, whereas during the New Order the democratic period faded along with the power of the Suharto regime which always curbed the political life of the Indonesian nation, the implementation of the general election during the Reformation especially the 2004 general election was more democratic because the implementation of the election could represent the aspirations of the people especially with the electoral system which was different from the previous election because with a combination of district and proportional systems then the people can know and know what people's representatives will like to channel their aspirations.

Abstract

This study is to determine the level of motivation of teachers not to carry out teaching and learning. The method used is a qualitative method by emphasizing case studies. The results show that the role of the teacher as one of the components in teaching and learning activities (KBM), has a role that determines the success of learning. Seeing the importance of the teacher's role in the education process and at the same time as the party responsible for implementing the education process in schools, teachers are required to have expertise, responsibility and a soul willing to provide social services above personal interests. But amidst the many demands on the teaching profession, many problems are experienced by teachers, especially Non-permanent Teachers (GTT), which revolve around issues of welfare and clarity of employment status.

Abstract

This research is to find out the extent to which the values ​​of youth oath become an expression of nationalism through the teaching of history. The method used is a qualitative case study method in Banyuwangi City High School. The respondents were three teachers and several students who were taken as snowboll samples. The results showed that under various conditions, an erosion of national values ​​was felt that had been pioneered since 28 October 1982. The moral crisis engulfed the young generation so that the sense of patriotism and nationalism faded. The application of a sense of nationalism can be restored through learning history with the application of everyday life. Applications for increasing nationalism can utilize the school curriculum..
