Abstract

Games are popular technologies used for entertainment, and educational games combine play with learning to enhance concentration and thinking skills. This research addresses the lack of engaging learning media for first-grade students at SDN 230 Palembang and the prevalence of non-educational games. The study develops an educational game called Image Matching, aimed at teaching animal and fruit names while improving fine motor skills. The game, Animal Detective, is a puzzle game where students guess animal names based on pictures and descriptions. Using the System Development Life Cycle method, including planning, analysis, design, development, and testing with the Black Box method, this game serves as an interactive learning media. Results show that it effectively improves motor skills and knowledge about animals and fruits. The game is expected to provide engaging education and entertainment for first-grade students at SDN 230 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy on sustainability performance with financial technology as a mediating variable in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in West Sumatra. This study is a quantitative study with a sample method, namely random sampling. The sample in this study was 297 respondents consisting of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in West Sumatra. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using IBM SPSS Amos 26 software. The results of this study indicate that Financial Literacy has a significant positive effect on Sustainability Performance. Financial Literacy has a significant positive effect on Financial Technology. Financial Technology has a significant positive effect on Sustainability Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Informativeness, Credibility, Interactivity, Product Match Up, and Entertainment on consumer purchase intention, mediated by consumer attitudes toward the influencer Sashfir on social media, particularly in the fashion industry. This research employs a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study population consists of women actively using social media who have watched Sashfir’s videos. A purposive sampling technique was applied, resulting in 100 respondents determined using Cochran’s formula. Data were collected through questionnaires measured with a Likert scale. The findings reveal that all independent variables have a positive and significant effect on consumer purchase intention, both directly and through consumer attitudes as a mediating variable. These results highlight the crucial role of influencers with high credibility, informative content, active engagement, product relevance, and entertaining elements in shaping consumer attitudes and purchase intention. Consequently, this study contributes to the fashion industry and digital marketing strategies by providing insights into the effectiveness of influencers in attracting consumer interest through social media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on hedging decisions in banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2022. The data used are secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial reports published on the IDX. With the purposive sampling method, 52 data samples were obtained from 13 companies that met the research criteria. Data analysis was carried out using logistic regression to evaluate the relationship between the independent variables (liquidity, leverage, and profitability) and the dependent variable (hedging decisions). The results of the study indicate that liquidity has a positive and significant effect on hedging decisions, leverage has no significant effect, and profitability has a positive and significant effect. These findings emphasize the importance of liquidity and profitability in determining hedging policies, while leverage is not a significant factor in making these decisions. This study is expected to provide practical and theoretical contributions in the field of financial risk management and become a reference for companies to manage exchange rate risk through hedging strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Ease of Use, Scurity, Trust, and Perception of Benefits on Interest In Using Mobile Banking with Lifestyle as a moderating variable on Padang City Students. This research is a quantitative study with a sample method, namely purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 121 respondents who were Padang State University students. The results of this study indicate that Ease of Use has no significant effect on interest in using Bank Nagari mobile banking in Air Tawar Padang, which means that this hypothesis is rejected because the p-value is 0.097> 0.05. Abstract

This study analyses the impact of the Batang Agam area arrangement on the welfare of local communities in Payakumbuh City, West Sumatra, focusing on three main variables: area zoning regulations, infrastructure and environment. Through a quantitative approach with logistic regression method, data was collected from 106 businesses around the Batang Agam area. The results showed that environmental quality has a significant influence on increasing community income, with an odds ratio of 21,300.88. This indicates that a clean, safe and well-managed environment is a major factor in driving economic activity. In contrast, zoning regulations and infrastructure did not show a significant impact, possibly due to their sub-optimal implementation or inappropriate to local needs. These findings underscore the importance of environmental management as a key foundation in zoning, while emphasising the need to re-evaluate zoning and infrastructure policies to be more responsive to community needs. The research also highlights the importance of community participation in the planning process to ensure that development policies are truly inclusive and sustainable. The implication of these findings is the need for a holistic approach to zoning, which focuses not only on physical aspects, but also on improving the quality of life and well-being of local communities. As such, this research provides valuable input for local governments in designing more effective and sustainable development policies in riverside areas.

Abstract

Social media has allowed people to interact freely with other people and has created a way to market products or services to fellow users who are involved in using social media. The trend of using social media for marketing (SMM) in recent years has increased and has become the choice for many industries to do marketing. Uniquely, on the other hand, the use of social media for marketing has resulted in opportunities and employment opportunities for everyone to be involved as marketing agents (endorsement), which not only provides opportunities for public figures but also for fellow social media users. This paper attempts to conduct a review to see and find out what factors make industry players use social media for marketing to support marketing. To achieve this objective, a thorough literature search was conducted using three reputable databases: IEEE, Science Direct, and Taylor & Francis. From the search results, 25 relevant papers were selected to support this research, providing valuable insight into the factors that influence the adoption of social media for marketing.
