Abstract

Science process skills can be improved through direct experience in an inquiry-based practicum. In general, science process skills can include some activities, like observing, comparing, predicting, classifying, measuring, using tools, communicating, and interpreting data. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing a structured inquiry-based practicum on the pollen characteristics and embryogenesis stages of Capsella sp. in improving science process skills possessed by students. The samples in this study were students who took the plant development course, for a total of 31 people. This type of research is qualitative and descriptive. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire in the form of a response questionnaire and student opinion toward the implementation of the practicum, as well as the results of the practicum reports. The results showed that the students' science process skills belonged to the Very High category based on the questionnaire data, and the completeness level reached about 100% in the evaluation of practicum reports with a class average value of 85.86 in six indicators. Based on the results of the questionnaire data and practicum reports, it was concluded that the structured inquiry-based practicum activity in the plant development course can affect students' science process skills positively.Abstrak. Keterampilan proses sains pada peserta didik dapat ditingkatkan melalui pengalaman langsung dalam kegiatan praktikum yang berbasis inkuiri. Keterampilan proses sains secara umum dapat meliputi aktivitas, seperti observasi, membandingkan, memprediksi, mengklasifikasikan, mengukur, menggunakan alat, mengomunikasikan serta menginterpretasi data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pelaksanaan praktikum berbasis structured inquiry pada materi karakteristik polen dan tahapan embriogenesis dari Capsella sp. dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains yang dimiliki oleh praktikan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah perkembangan tumbuhan dengan total sebanyak 31 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner berupa angket respon dan tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan praktikum, serta hasil laporan praktikum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains praktikan secara keseluruhan tergolong dalam kategori Sangat Tinggi berdasarkan data kuesioner, serta tingkat ketuntasan mencapai 100% pada penilaian laporan hasil praktikum dengan nilai rata-rata kelas mencapai 85,86 pada enam indikator. Berdasarkan hasil data kuesioner dan laporan praktikum, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan praktikum berbasis structured inquiry pada mata kuliah perkembangan tumbuhan dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan proses sains dari peserta didik.

Abstract

The background of this research is that students are not fully able to apply digital literacy in the learning process in the Spermatophyta course. This is due to low knowledge and lack of student initiative to find out about applications to identify species or plants. This study aims to determine the digital literacy skills of Biology Education students at Medan State University in the Spermatophyta course. The population in this study were all students of the Biology Education Study Program, Medan State University, semester IV, totaling 142 students. The sample of this research is 105 students with random sampling technique. The research approach used in this study is a mixed method which combines quantitative and qualitative approaches. The type of research used is descriptive research. The research approach used is a mixed methods approach that combines quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research instrument used was a self-assessment questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The results showed that digital literacy skills in Biology Education were in the very good category 81.30. Student abilities are very good in content creation, communication, collaboration, information but for critical thinking skills, evaluation and operational skills are good.Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh mahasiswa yang belum sepenuhnya mampu menerapkan literasi digital dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Spermatophyta. Hal ini disebabkan rendahnya pengetahuan dan kurangnya inisiatif siswa untuk mencari tahu tentang aplikasi untuk mengidentifikasi spesies atau tumbuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi digital mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Negeri Medan pada mata kuliah Spermatophyta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Negeri Medan semester IV yang berjumlah 142 mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 105 mahasiswa dengan teknik random sampling. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan campuran (mixed method) yang menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei laporan diri (self-assessment kuesioner) dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi digital Pendidikan Biologi dalam kategori sangat baik 81,30. Kemampuan mahasiswa sangat baik dalam pembuatan konten, komunikasi, kolaborasi, informasi namun untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis, mengevaluasi dan keterampilan operasional tergolong baik.

Abstract

Learning models that emphasize life skills provide opportunities for students to be actively involved in exploring and applying science concepts in everyday life are needed, one of which is POE (Predict-Observe-Explain). Learners are invited to make predictions first about an experiment related to everyday life, observe the results of the experiment, and finally explain what they learned using this model. This model also aims to develop critical and analytical skills that are useful in various situations. This study aims to determine the effect of the POE learning model on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students on environmental pollution material. This type of research is a quasi-experiment in the form of non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study included all VII grade students of Al-Azhar Paron Junior High School, while the samples included VII A (control class) using scientific learning and VII B (experimental class) using the POE model. Indicators of critical thinking skills measured in this study are the ability to provide simple explanations and the ability to conclude. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the POE model has an influence on the critical thinking skills of seventh grade students at Al-Azhar Paron Junior High School. The test results show that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.002, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05, so the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. The use of the POE model can be used as an alternative in the variation of learning models in schools to develop students' critical thinking skills.Abstrak. Model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada kecakapan hidup memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk terlibat aktif dalam mengeksplorasi dan mengaplikasikan konsep-konsep IPA (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam) di kehidupan sehari-hari diperlukan, salah satunya POE (Predict-Observe-Explain). Peserta didik diajak untuk melakukan prediksi terlebih dahulu tentang suatu eksperimen yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, mengamati hasil dari eksperimen, dan akhirnya menjelaskan apa yang mereka pelajari menggunakan model ini. Model ini juga bertujuan mengembangkan keterampilan kritis dan analitis yang berguna dalam berbagai situasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran POE terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan quasi-experiment dalam bentuk non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMP Al-Azhar Paron, sedangkan sampelnya meliputi kelas VII A (kelas kontrol) menggunakan pembelajaran saintifik dan VII B (kelas eksperimen) menggunakan model POE. Indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diukur dalam penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan memberikan penjelasan sederhana dan kemampuan menyimpulkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa model POE memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Al-Azhar Paron. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002, yang lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05, sehingga hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima. Penggunaan model POE dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam variasi model pembelajaran di sekolah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Students still need help understanding biology subject matter, one of which is the concept of biological ecosystems, due to limited variations in learning media. Mind maps are considered to affect students' mentality and learning outcomes positively. This research aims to develop a mind map-based module to improve student learning outcomes in biology learning that is valid, practical and effective in ecosystem material. This research is research and development (R&D) that uses the 4D model. This research was conducted at SMA Dharma Utama Serdang Bedagai, Medan, for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data was collected using validation sheets, student questionnaires and test instruments. Next, the data is compiled using the N-gain formula. This product was declared valid by media validators (68%) and material (80%). The feasibility analysis results show that the product developed is very practical for students to use, with the N-gain results getting a score of 0.8 in the very high category. Based on this mind map module, student learning outcomes using the mind map module developed are valid, practical and effective in facilitating student learning outcomes using the mind map module with ecosystem material.Abstrak. Peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan memahami materi pelajaran biologi, salah satunya pada konsep ekosistem biologi, karena keterbatasan variasi media belajar. Mind map dinilai berpengaruh positif terhadap mental dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis mind map untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam materi ekosistem. penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang menggunakan model 4D. penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Dharma Utama  Serdang Bedagai, Medan untuk tahun akademik 2022/2023. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar validasi, angket siswa dan instrument tes. Selanjutkan data dikumpulkan menggunakan rumus N-gain. Produk ini di nyatakan valid oleh validator media (68%) dam materi (80%). Hasil analisis kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan sangat praktis digunakan siswa dengan hasil N-gain mendapatkan nilai 0,8 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan modul mind map ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa menggunakan modul mind map yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif untuk memfasilitasi hasil belajar siswa menggunakan modul mind map dengan materi ekosistem.

Abstract

Ujung Kulon National Park is a national park with a lot of biodiversity that is almost extinct, but it has still not been realized by many students. Students' understanding and concern for the flora and fauna found in the TNUK area can be trained through learning based on environmental literacy. This study aims to determine the validity level of research-based e-modules on conservation themes to train environmental literacy attitudes of junior high school students. The research method used is research and development Research and Development R & D) concerning Thiagarajan, then adapted to the capabilities and needs of researchers, it is limited to 3 stages: define, design, and develop. The instrument used is a validation instrument sheet, which three validators will carry out, each on material expert validation, media expert validation, and teaching materials expert. The validation results obtained on the material expert get a percentage value of 82.88% with the category "very valid", on the media expert get a percentage value of 90.91% with the category "very valid", and on the teaching materials expert get a percentage value of 91.55% with the category "very valid" so that from the results of the validation of the research-based e-module conservation theme can be used with some revisions.Abstrak. Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon merupakan salah satu taman nasional yang mempunyai banyak biodiversitas yang hampir punah akan tetapi hal tersebut masih belum disadari oleh banyak siswa. Padahal pemahaman dan kepedulian siswa terhadap flora dan fauna yang terdapat di kawasan TNUK bisa di latih melalui pembelajaran yang berbasis literasi lingkungan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas e-modul berbasis riset tema konservasi untuk melatih sikap literasi lingkungan siswa SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan Research and Development R & D) dengan mengacu pada Thiagarajan, kemudian disesuaikan dengan kemampuan dan kebutuhan peneliti sehingga dibatasi pada 3 tahapan saja, yaitu: tahap define, design, dan develop. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar instrumen validasi yang akan dilakukan oleh 3 validator masing-masing pada validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli media dan ahli bahan ajar. Didapatkan hasil validasi pada ahli materi mendapatkan nilai persentase 82,88% dengan katagori “sangat valid”, pada ahli media mendapatkan nilai persentase 90,91% dengan katagori “sangat valid” dan pada ahli bahan ajar mendapatkan nilai persentase 91,55% dengan katagori “sangat valid” sehingga dari hasil balidasi tersebut e-modul berbasis riset tema konservasi dapat digunakan dengan beberapa revisi.

Abstract

The availability of teaching materials and learning resources is an important component in a lecture. The purpose of this study was to describe the results of a questionnaire on the needs of teaching materials by students. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Research respondents consisted of 30 students. The research instrument used a case-based needs analysis questionnaire on food microbiology material. Data analysis techniques by describing the data from the questionnaire needs of teaching materials, which are analyzed in detail. The results in this study were that 94% of students still found it difficult to understand learning food microbiology material, as many as 76% of students felt they did not understand food microbiology material only by using references from books. As many as 53% of students stated that the learning resources currently used had not attracted interest in learning food microbiology material, as many as 100% of students said they were happy if food microbiology learning was presented using a variety of learning resources. As many as 71% of students stated that they had not studied food microbiology material based on the cases presented in it. As many as 100% of students wish to have a case-based book on food microbiology material. Based on these results, it can be concluded that case-based teaching materials on food microbiology need to be developed.Abstrak. Ketersediaan bahan ajar dan sumber belajar adalah salah satu komponen penting dalam sebuah perkuliahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguraikan hasil angket kebutuhan bahan ajar oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Responden penelitian terdiri dari 30 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar berbasis kasus pada materi mikrobiologi pangan. Teknik analisis data dengan menguraikan data hasil  angket kebutuhan bahan ajar, yang dianalisis secara mendetail. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah 94% mahasiswa masih merasa kesulitan dalam memahami pembelajaran materi mikrobiologi pangan, sebanyak 76% mahasiswa merasa belum memahami materi mikrobiologi pangan hanya dengan menggunakan referensi dari buku. Sebanyak 53% mahasiswa menyatakan sumber belajar yang pakai saat ini belum menarik minat untuk belajar materi mikrobiologi pangan, sebanyak 100% mahasiswa menyatakan senang jika pembelajaran mikrobiologi pangan disajikan dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber belajar yang bervariasi. Sebanyak 71% mahasiswa menyatakan belum mempelajari materi mikrobiologi pangan berdasarkan adanya kasus-kasus yang disampaikan di dalamnya. Sebanyak 100% mahasiswa berkeinginan untuk memiliki buku berbasis kasus pada materi mikrobiologi pangan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis kasus materi mikrobiologi pangan perlu dikembangkan.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively has an important role in 21st century learning. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the video-assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the creative thinking skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekampung Udik on environmental pollution material. The research sample was selected by purposive sampling technique. The design of this study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The type of data taken is quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data in the form of mean values of pretest, posttest, and N-gain ability to think creatively tested using the Independent Sample t-Test with a significance level of 5% obtained Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05. Qualitative data in the form of a questionnaire on student responses to the use of the video-assisted PBL model. The results showed that the N-gain value for the experimental class was 0.57 in the "medium" category and the control class was 0.29 in the "low" category. These results indicate that there is a significant effect of using the video-assisted PBL model on students' creative thinking abilities in environmental pollution material. Student responses showed a positive response with an average score of 71.2% in the "good" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the video-assisted PBL model has an effect on the creative thinking abilities of students.Abstrak. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif memiliki peranan penting pada pembelajaran abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) berbantu video terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sekampung Udik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperiment dengan bentuk desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Data kuantitatif berupa rerata nilai pretest, posttest, dan N-gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang diuji menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test dengan taraf signifikansi 5% didapatkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,00 < 0,05. Data kualitatif berupa tanggapan peserta didik pada penggunaan model PBL berbantu video. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen mencapai 0,57 dengan kategori “sedang” dan kelas kontrol mencapai 0,29 dengan kategori “rendah”. Hasil tersebut memperoleh terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model PBL berbantu video terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran menunjukan respon yang positif dengan rata-rata nilai 71,2% dengan kategori “baik”. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantu video berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

The Problem-Oriented Project-Based Learning (POPBL) model is believed to be a learning approach that can effectively facilitate students in developing 21st-century skills. Adopting a student-centered approach is essential to engage students actively in learning activities. This study investigates the impact of the POPBL model on collaboration skills related to metabolic material and cell division. The research employs a quasi-experiment design, and the instrument used for data collection is a collaborative questionnaire that includes peer assessment and self-assessment. Analysis of students' collaboration skills, based on the average collaboration skills calculation, indicates that the experimental class using the POPBL learning model outperformed the control class. Prerequisite tests confirmed that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The ANCOVA data analysis results show a significant impact of the learning model treatment, with a significance value of p = 0.000<α = 0.05. This indicates that the hypothesis is accepted, and H0 is rejected. Consequently, there are significant differences in collaboration skills between the experimental class (XII MIPA 3) and the control class (XII MIPA 2). These research findings are expected to serve as a valuable reference for educators seeking effective learning models to enhance the quality of biology education, particularly in improving students' collaboration skills.Abstrak. Model pembelajaran Problem Oriented Project Based Learning (POPBL) diyakini dapat pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa agar dapat memberdayakan keterampilan abad-21.  Pembelajaran dengan student center perlu dilakukan agar siswa terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara model POPBL terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi pada materi metabolisme dan pembelahan sel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasy experiment, dan instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kolaborasi (Peer assessment dan self assessment). Analisis data keterampilan kolaborasi siswa dengan dengan hasil perhitungan rerata keterampilan kolaborasi menunjukkan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Oriented Project Based Learning (POPBL) lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Uji prasyarat terbukti data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil nilai analisis data ANCOVA memiliki nilai signifikansi perlakuan model pembelajaran yaitu p =0,000<α =0,05 artinya hipotesis diterima dan H0 ditolak. Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan kolaborasi anatara kelas eksperimen (XII MIPA 3) dan kelas kontrol (XII MIPA 2). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai rujukan model pembelajaran yang memberikan solusi dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran biologi  khususnya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi pada siswa.

Abstract

At Rosa Mystica Catholic Junior High School, networked learning has not been linked to specific learning models and media. Teachers still face difficulties in creating online learning devices. It is necessary to develop learning devices using appropriate learning models and media to assist teachers in learning online. This will positively impact the quality of learning in the network at school. This study aimed to assess the Integrated Science learning device's validity, effectiveness, and practicality based on the inquiry-flipped classroom approach. The study developed learning devices such as syllabus, lesson plans, and electronic student worksheets. The research was conducted in January 2022 at Rosa Mystica Catholic Junior High School. This is a research and development project that uses the ADDIE model. The research findings indicate that the inquiry-based flipped classroom learning device is highly valid, effective, and practical. It is suitable for integrated science learning, specifically the human digestive system. This study contributes to the innovation of integrated science learning, as the combination of inquiry-based and flipped classroom models can create a more effective and engaging learning experience for students.Abstrak. Pembelajaran dalam jaringan yang terjadi di sekolah menengah pertama katolik Rosa Mystica belum terkait dengan model dan media pembelajaran tertentu. Guru masih kesulitan membuat perangkat pembelajaran untuk pembelajaran dalam jaringan. Perlu dilakukan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model dan media pembelajaran untuk membantu guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dalam jaringan yang berdampak pada perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran dalam jaringan di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas, efektifitas perangkat dan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran IPA Terpadu berbasis inkuiri-flipped classroom. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan lembar kerja peserta didik elektronik berbasis model pembelajaran inkuiri-flipped classroom. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari tahun 2022 di SMPK Rosa Mystica. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri-flipped classroom sangat valid, efektif dan praktis sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap inovasi dalam pembelajaran IPA Terpadu, penggabungan model pembelajaran inkuri dan flipped classroom dapat membuat pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan menarik bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Low scientific literacy is due to the large amount of material being taught and not applying basic biological concepts to problems commonly encountered in the surrounding environment. The Islamic science integration approach, which was developed into teaching materials in the form of e-modules, needs to be applied because it places a variety of diversity in scientific disciplines (Islamist studies, Natural studies, Social studies, and Humanities). The research aims to develop and test an E-module's validity, practicality, and effectiveness based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Integrated Islamic Science Human Reproductive System Material to Improve Science Literacy and Student Learning Outcomes. The research and development model refers to a Branch consisting of ADDIE, namely the analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate stages. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and validation sheets. The results of research on the effectiveness of e-modules show that e-modules are very valid in improving scientific literacy and student learning outcomes. Based on the N-gain calculation, scientific literacy is in the medium category with significant t-test results. The learning outcomes are in the high category with very significant t-test results. This research shows that the PBL-based e-module material on the science-Islam integrated human reproductive system can be developed and effectively used in learning activities.Abstrak. Literasi sains rendah disebabkan banyaknya materi yang diajarkan, kurang menerapkan konsep dasar biologi terhadap permasalah yang biasa ditemui di lingkungan sekitar. Pendekatan integrasi sains-Islam yang dikembangkan menjadi bahan ajar berupa e-module perlu diterapkan karena menempatkan berbagai keberagaman terhadap disiplin ilmu (Islamis-Studies, Natural studies, Social studies dan Humaniora). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-module berbasis Problem Based learning (PBL) Materi Sistem Reproduksi Manusia Terintegrasi Sains Islam untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Sains dan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa. Model penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu pada Branch terdiri dari ADDIE yaitu tahap analyze, design, develop, implement, dan evaluate. Tenik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian terhadap keefektifan e-module menunjukkan bahwa e-module sangat valid dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Berdasarkan perhitungan N-gain literasi sains masuk kategori sedang, dan hasil belajar masuk kategori tinggi dengan hasil uji-t yang sangat signifikan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-module berbasis PBL materi sistem reproduksi manusia terintegrasi sains-Islam dapat dikembangkan dan efektif digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.
