Abstract

General elections are basically still carried out conventionally, namely by using paper media in voting. This will lead to weaknesses in the calculation of votes such as a waste of money and time. This study aims to develop a website-based e-voting information system in the general election for the chairman of the RW which is expected to minimize the weaknesses of conventional elections. This system was developed to make the voting process more efficient and easy to use. This application is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, using the waterfall method. By doing black-box testing, it is hoped that the e-voting system can run well functionally without any error, and dummy variable testing to determine the influence of voters in selecting candidates based on graduation rate.

Abstract

The Academic Administration division (BAA) plays a role in the process of issuing student certificates at the National University. Although the data has been computerized, the process of issuing the letter is still manual so it is less effective and efficient. Students must come to the BAA unit to apply for the issuance of a student certificate, including for data correction purposes if needed. This will require more effort for students in terms of time, energy and material. This research is to design a Web-Based Student Certificate Making System that can simplify the service process and submission of a certificate for students at the National University. This system is integrated and responsive and is accessed online. The application was developed with the waterfall model and utilizes the Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool and uses the PHP programming language. The result of this study is the existence of a web-based certificate application design that can facilitate students in obtaining student certificates at the National University. The results of testing the application using the white-box and black-box methods, indicate that the logic and functionality of the application is running well and can be used by the BAA unit of the National University.

Abstract

E-commerce or online stores appear to provide convenience for the public in the field of information technology, Budi Luhur is a shop in the field of selling household needs such as cabinets, plate racks, spring beds, sofas, and electronics. But the problem is that until now, how to market their products still using manuals such as brochures, posters, and orders that are still recorded manually with books, so that the store requires costs that are sometimes not small in number to print brochures which will later be used to convey information to customers manually. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to create a system at the Budi Luhur store that can make it easier for customers and shop owners to make transactions. The design of Budi Luhur's E-Commerce System uses a Software development methodology, namely the waterfall method. This method is used by researchers to develop Software systems by having a Software life flow sequentially starting from analysis, design, coding and testing. To design the system using E-CRM (Electronic Electronic Customer Relationship Management), CodeIgniter Framework, PHP programming language and MySQL database.

Abstract

Currently, the development of technology is very rapid and has a positive impact on institutions or individuals who use it. In the world of education, many Indonesian educational institutions have used information technology to assist the teaching and learning process or the administrative processes contained in these institutions. One of the technologies applied is Android-based attendance. In academic activities in lectures, student attendance is carried out so that lecturers can know the presence of their students in academic activities carried out on campus. Based on the research that has been done by the author, the results of an android-based of presences application design for the Industrial Engineering Study Program of the Singaperbangsa Karawang University can be used by students to make attendance in each course and apply for student permits. This android-based student attendance application design can reduce the inaccuracy and cheating of student attendance data.

Abstract

The development of the business world always requires us to improve the quality of products and services to consumers. goods purchasing services can be done electronically and can also be done online or in electronic commerce. Not a few entrepreneurs or business owners still manage their business transaction data manually, which of course has a high risk of losing data or making financial calculations wrong. Therefore, this website-based Point of sale application was designed with the aim of reducing these shortcomings and making it easier for entrepreneurs to manage their company's transaction data. This website-based Point of sale application has several advantages such as: facilitating transaction data management, simplifying business financial calculations, a computerized monthly financial recapitulation of the business.

Abstract

The BRT unit is a part of the National University that manages electronic equipment including repairing or maintenance in the event of a breakdown. Usually, BRT unit technicians carry out the process of repairing electronic equipment based on complaints received from staff/employees. However, so far the complaint process is still manual and recorded using simple tools such as excel, word and ledgers. This causes the process of electronic complaints and maintenance to be slow. Therefore, in this study, a web-based electronic complaint and maintenance application will be developed at the National University. The application was developed based on the waterfall model using the PHP programming language and using a MySQL database using the First in First Out (FIFO) method. The results of this study are the availability of applications that can help the processing of electronic complaints and maintenance data to be more effective and efficient. Testing of the application was carried out using the White-box and Black-box methods and testing on 3 flowcharts including the Staff/Employee Logic flowchart, Admin Logic flowchart and Technician Logic flowchart with white-box testing calculated cyclomatic complacity and resulted in Cyclomotic Complexity = 8, Region = 8 with path Independent Path = 8 where the result shows that all the logic and functionality of the application has been running well.

Abstract

Family Archive Restoration Service (LARASKA) is a national archival institution that is present directly in the midst of people who have difficulty in handling community archives damaged by disasters. Since its launch in 2019, LARASKA has helped as many as 790 families and has repaired 33,193 archives. LARASKA ANRI is a service provided to the public free of charge by following established procedures. On February 21, 2021, exactly 1 day after the flood-hit Jabodetabek, the LARASKA ANRI team established a command post at the location to help people who have difficulty coming directly to ANRI. Thus, it is hoped that important public archives or documents as evidence of organizational accountability, both government and private, as well as evidence of community civil rights can be saved. The aim of the researchers from this study was to build a website-based LARASKA application to make it easier for the public to use the online application and conduct assessment analysis using the PIECES Framework.

Abstract

Technological developments in the era of Globalization, are widely used in various fields, one of the developing technologies is the technology on the NodeMcu ESP8266. In the Soil moisture Detector System in Ornamental Plants Using the IoT-Based NodeMcu ESP8266, based on the problem factors that exist in a failure in plant growth, it is very influential in terms of technique and also improper plant watering procedures, can cause plant growth to be disrupted and also withered. To overcome this problem, the author designed a Moisture Condition Detector in Ornamental Plants Using an IoT-Based NodeMcu ESP8266. Where this system can run commands to automatically water plants from soil moisture while simultaneously watering manually with various desired conditions and the system can send notifications that users can receive via telegram. Through the Moisture Level Condition Detector system in this ornamental plant, it can increase the level of effectiveness, so the quality that the plants get will be better maintained.

Abstract

The BRT Unit (Household Section) in carrying out its duties requires several work tools that are used to support the work process properly and correctly. The tools used are tools that are stored in the BRT Unit room and when they want to be borrowed, the employee only takes these tools which have been previously ordered by the head of the BRT unit and then recorded by the room operator. In the process, the data on equipment borrowing is not guaranteed to be stored because it is only recorded on a book or paper provided by the BRT unit. Furthermore, in the return process, borrowed tools sometimes have some tools that are no longer suitable for use, to find out how many inventory tools are borrowed and find out the stock of tools available so as to facilitate job data collection. The test method for the application uses white-box testing with the value of Cyclomotic Complexity = 9, Region = 9 and Independent Path = 9 so that the mechanical Inventory application is produced.

Abstract

The development of science and technology for electronic media that is used by everyone using a smartphone, for this smartphone device, early childhood only recognizes the existence of games on this device. There are many methods used in distance learning using smartphone devices. The purpose of this study is to design a learning application for children aged 7-12 years to recognize city icons in Indonesia by using the drag and drop method with the placement of controls on random questions. this game also applies the Shuffle Random algorithm and the Linear Congruent Method (LCM) algorithm for randomizing practice questions. The results of the study using LCM can generate random number values of 7,4,1,8,5,2,9,6,3,0,7 indicating the process of randomizing the questions on the city icon is appropriate and does not experience repetition, with the Shuffle Random method. randomization of questions on the city icon resulted in 3,7,5,8,1,6,4,2,10,9 were appropriate and did not experience repetition. The recommended algorithm in this study according to the characteristics of randomization of questions is LCM because the process is simpler, easier to understand and the time used is shorter and more efficient.
