Abstract

Maglev is the basis of fast train technology by lifting an object to a reference using a magnetic field. This system is used to reduce the friction force generated by a component that makes direct contact. This paper studies maglev train systems in the framework of the development of control system technology on fast trains. The maglev train control system was prototyped and tested in terms of moving forward on the straight path, mounting and system performance. The maglev train prototype's prototype movement control method is to set the magnetic tensile and thrust forces of the two magnetic poles on the means and trajectories using operator commands via smartphone using Blynk software. In this case the hall effect sensor is applied to detect the condition of the magnetic pole on the trajectory which is then used to determine the change in the artificial magnetic pole that is in the means. Test results from the maglev prototype drove at an average speed of 0.204 m/s

Abstract

ABSTRACT Health protocol during Covid 19 Pandemic however can reduce the tendency of passengers in using trains as mode of transportation. The inter-city train health protocol is regulated in a circular letter from the Minister of Transportation regarding the guidelines and technical guidelines for rail transportation in the new normal era. The description of the behavior of inter-city train passengers with the application of health protocols is needed as a consideration in implementing further policies. This study uses situational variables, knowledge and personality as predictors of passengers' decisions to use trains with the application of health protocols. The research sample was 96 with random sampling technique. The data that has been collected is then tested with binary logistic regression to generate the tendency of passengers to use trains with the application of health protocols in the new normal era. The results of the study show that situational variables and passenger personalities influence passenger decisions in using the train mode in the new normal era. Abstract

The operation of railway infrastructure is regulated in the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 56 of 2009 concerning the Operation of Railways. In order to maintain the reliability of railway infrastructure or facilities, maintenance is necessary. At the time of maintenance of infrastructure on the curved line, the workers received very little information about the trains that would pass through the track being repaired. So a new system is needed to give warnings for passing trains. The new system is prototyped using a proximity sensor-based microcontroller. Information is obtained when the proximity sensor detects the presence of objects in front of it by emitting infrared rays. The proximity sensor is set to detect something less than 80 cm away as input and issue warning information. This prototype is made in 2 modes for single and double lanes, and can be turned off in 1 lane only. Alerts are on a curved path helping workers get information more effectively and efficiently. Thus reducing the risk of accidents. Because when the arch is closed, you can't see the direction of the train's arrival. However, with this system, workers get information in real time.

Abstract

Bantalan kereta api di Indonesia rata - rata terbuat dari material beton bertulang, dalam Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan nomor 60 Tahun 2012 disebutkan bahwa salah satu persyaratan material bantalan beton merupakan bantalan beton dengan struktur prategang. Metode Elemen Hingga (MEH) merupakan salah satu analisa numerik yang banyak digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah perhitungan struktur. Penggunaan MEH dengan aplikasi membantu mempermudah engineering untuk melakukan iterasi perhitungan, sehingga didapatkan hasil pendekatan yang menyerupai kondisi struktur sesungguhnya. Model bantalan beton kereta api yang digunakan adalah untuk lebar spoor 1067 mm dengan tipe N-67 produksi PT WIKA. Benda Uji dimodelkan sebagai Elemen Hingga pada aplikasi MEH dan kemudian dilakukan analisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa perilaku struktur dari Bantalan Beton KA menggunakan MEH. Spesifikasi bantalan beton prategang dengan kuat tekan beton fc’ = 54 Mpa dan kuat tarik tulangan baja fy = 1400 Mpa. Properti material untuk memodelkan bantalan beton merujuk pada penelitian [1]. Berdasarkan hasil analisa menggunakan software MEH didapatkan nilai tegangan tekan (compressive stress) bantalan beton sebesar 11,706 Mpa dan tegangan tarik (Tensile stress) bantalan beton sebesar 4,326 Mpa, selanjutnya untuk nilai lendutan (displacement) didapatkan hasil 0,083 mm terletak di tengah bantalan. Disimpulkan pula berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada persamaan (Attard and Setunge, 1996) bahwa model benda uji bantalan beton dapat menumpu beban yang dipersyaratkan.

Abstract

The wear that occurs on the wheels of the Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta (MRTJ) train is abnormal wear at a higher depth level only at one point, causing new grooves. The MRT Jakarta train continues to operate with wheels that are experiencing grooved wear, because there has been no repair. This study aims to determine the causes and effects of grooved wear on the wheels. For this reason, in order to reveal the cause of wear, an analysis of surface morphology, chemical composition, physical properties, mechanical properties (hardness) and microstructure was carried out on 3 samples of brake blocks that experienced wear and one sample of brake blocks that had not been used as a comparison. From this study it was revealed that the composite material and cast iron in the rem blok construction complied with the manufacturer's specifications, however, the compressive strength of the composite material (29 MPa) was lower than the MRTJ requirement (35 MPa). The failure of the grooves on the train wheels is thought to be caused by the morphology of the brake block which contains cast iron on the surface which does not cover the entire surface of the brake block. The surface area of ​​the brake block that does not contain cast iron is in the same location as the grooved wear on the tread of the carriage. During high-temperature braking, the tread and the surface of the cast iron will soften, causing an increase in the wear rate of both components. During operation, increasing the compressive strength of the rem bloks can accelerate the formation of grooved wear on the tread. After knowing the cause so that the wheels do not experience grooved wear, it is necessary to modify the brake block both in terms of chemical composition and the morphology of the brake block surface.

Abstract

Keselamatan perjalanan kereta api menjadi indikator utama pelayanan transportasi publik. Kemajuan teknologi perkeretaapian di berbagai negara membawa perubahan bagi perkertaapian di Indonesia agar perjalanan kereta api semakin terjamin, melalui peningkatan sistem komunikasi suara maupun komunikasi data dan pemasangan Automatic Train Protection (ATP). Kebutuhan ATP perkeretaapian belum terpenuhi karena biaya relatif mahal dan komunikasi yang digunakan melalui radio analog frekuensi VHF dengan banyak kanal. Hasil penelitian adalah sistem komunikasi kereta api menggunakan radio analog frekuensi VHF (150-174) dengan banyak kanal frekuensi dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Tier III dan/atau Tetra, pemasangan ATP untuk kereta komuter dan jarak jauh terus diupayakan, penggunaan RAMS menilai produk maupun keselamatan untuk segera dapat digunakan oleh Regulator maupun Operator

Abstract

Kereta Rel Listrik merupakan salah satu transportasi unggulan dalam mobilitas masyarakat perkotaan. Sarana KRL seri terbaru di Indonesia, yaitu EA 203 dioperasikan sejak tahun 2017 untuk layanan kereta bandara pada lintas Manggarai – Bandara Soekarno Hatta. Penelitian ini menggantikan peran KRL Seri JR 205 yang beroperasi saat ini pada lintas Bojonggede – Bogor dengan menggunakan KRL EA 203 dengan stamformasi sama dalam satu rangkaian. Diketahui total daya motor traksi pada KRL Seri EA 203 dengan sususan 3 Motor Car dan 9 Trailer Car sebesar 2400 kW. Terdapat 4 Gardu Traksi sepanjang lintas Bojonggede – Bogor, yaitu Gardu Traksi Bojonggede, Gardu Traksi Cilebut, Gardu Traksi Kedungbadak, dan Gardu Traksi Bogor. Pada hasil penelitian, total penggunaan kapasitas daya transformator meggunakan KRL EA 203 sebesar 44,16% pada Gardu Traksi Bojonggede, 44,16% pada Gardu Traksi Cilebut, 49,95% pada Gardu Traksi Kedungbadak, dan 69,94% pada Gardu Traksi Bogor. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kapasitas daya pada Gardu Traksi sepanjang lintas Bojonggede – Bogor menggunakan KRL EA 203 masih sanggup mencukupi kebutuhan operasional KRL. Penambahan jadwal saat menggunakan KRL EA 203 pada GAPEKA 2021 juga dapat dilakukan sebanyak 4 perjalanan di Stasiun Bojonggede

Abstract

Line 5 of the Bekasi Station Emplacement is a new line from the addition of a Double Double Track at the Bekasi Station Emplacement which will later be used as a direct train line with a maximum speed of 100 km/hour. The existence of 10 fixed curves and 2 temporary arches on line 5 needs to be evaluated for feasibility so that it can be crossed by trains at high speed. The evaluation is carried out in the form of an evaluation of the horizontal curve geometry which includes the evaluation of the minimum radius, rail elevation, the value of the bow arrow, and the allowable operating speed of the train. In addition, periodic maintenance plans can also be determined based on the analysis carried out on the horizontal bending radius. This evaluation is based on the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 60 of 2012. From the evaluation for curves crossed by a train with a speed of 100 km/hour, all curves still meet the minimum radius requirements. While the 2 temporary arches are used to limit the speed of the train during the construction of the line, which will later be dismantled. In the evaluation of rail elevation all arches are eligible for outer rail elevation. Furthermore, an analysis of the actual value of bow arrows is also carried out in the field. From the analysis carried out, the arc needs to be adjusted to the specified arrow value.
