Abstract

This study aims to find out the terms of Islamic Aqeedah in the book of Taudhihi Maqashid Al-Aqidah Al-Wasithiyyah written by Syaikh Islam Ibnu Taymiah, and analyze these terms by presenting several examples of their methods of use to enrich the language repertory of STIBA Ar Raayah students, while reviving the heritage of Islamic language that is related to the terminology of Islamic Aqeedah, and also aims to develop curriculum that can facilitate the learning process in the field of Arabic language education. This study uses descriptive—analytic method, explicitly by inventorying the terms of Islamic Aqeedah in the book of Taudhihi Maqashid Al-Aqidah Al-Wasithiyyah Li Syaikhil Islam Ibnu Taymiah, thus analyzing those terms etymologically and terminology by referring to Arabic dictionaries and Aqeedah books. The results of this study conclude that there are Islamic Aqeedah terms in the book of Taudhihi Maqashid Al-Aqidah Al-Wasithiyyah Li Syaikhil Islam Ibnu Taymiah, and the total number of these terms reaches 84 words, and defines each term both etymologically and terminologically, hence describing several examples of the methods of use to enrich the language of STIBA Ar Raayah students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and limit terms vocabularies in the book "Nahw Tsaqȃfah Islȃmiyyah Ashȋlah" by Umar Sulayman Al-Asyqar, which the book is including of materials books for PBA (Arabic Education Department) in the STIBA Ar Raayah that contains many terms vocabularies. Aside from that, this research also aims to present effective ways to utilization of those vocabularies terms to enriching the students language in STIBA Ar Raayah. This research uses descriptive methods of analysis where researcher is trying to accumulate and limit terms vocabularies of that book and then analyse it by definition them according to etymologically and terminologic. In this study, two main results achieved; the first, that terms vocabularies in the book "Nahw Tsaqȃfah Islȃmiyyah Ashȋlah" numbered fifty-one vocabulary, which can be analyzed by defining each vocabulary etymologically and terminologis. Then the second, effective ways that proposed for utilization of the vocabulary to enrich the students language the STIBA Ar Raayah is in two ways; First, by way of formulating the learning material in the form of conversation come with reserved exercises for these lessons, and in the form of text reading is also equipped with with the exercises for it. And second, by way of formulating the dictionary of terms vocabularies for the book.

Abstract

Errors in the use of Arabic grammar is one of the problems that are often faced especially by 2nd semester students Idad al Lughawi STIBA Ar Raayah. The difference between basic structures is the biggest reason for students to make mistakes in using Arabic grammar. The method used to get the results of this study is the experimental method, which was conducted on 74 students as samples from 248 students. The results showed that the average test score for the control group on the pre-examination exam was 74.28 while the average score for the post-experimental exam was 80.57, from which the conclusion was that the test scores for the control group increased by 6,24, while the average value of the experimental group on the pre-experimental test was 76.09 while the average value of the experimental group after the experiment was 93.95, therefore the results concluded that the test scores for this group experienced a significant increase of 16, 95. Then the final conclusion after testing the hypothesis using the t-test formulates one result, namely that linguistic play has a very effective way of improving grammatical errors that occur between I’dad Lughawi Students.

Abstract

Language is the gate of knowledge, without it, the humans will not be able to communicate with other people and will not be able to exchange ideas with others, because language is a communication mechanism between them to achieve their goals. Arabic is rich in legitimate vocabulary related to religion, so there are several vocabularies or words that cannot be understood only by knowing the meaning of language, so Arabic students must know the meaning of terminology words, because the terminology words include sentences that are rarely used in conversation, so the students get difficulty in using it in daily conversation, because the terminology words are included in the intellectual sentence. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for learners of Arabic to know the terms in the book of Minhatu al 'Allam (fourth vol.) and help them choose vocabulary when speaking, writing, reading and listening. The study uses descriptive analysis methods, namely by tracing the terms in this book. This research proves the existence of the term sentence in the book of Minhatu al 'Allam (fourth vol.). The term sentence reaches 53 words. This study also formulated effective ways to enrich the language of the STIBA Ar Raayah students, namely by making a term sentence table by explaining each term etymologically and terminologically, and presenting it in the form of daily conversation and writing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the acoustic difficulties of Javanese beginner students in learning Arabic language and it’s resolved methods. In this research the writer used the analytical descriptive method, where the writer explained the sounds of Arabic and Javanese language then described the acoustic difficulties of the Javanese people in learning Arabic and how to resolve it. The results from this research stated the acoustic difficulties for the Javanese are divided into two, difficulties related to the Arabic vocal sounds which are difficulties in telling apart the long vocals and short vocals, and acoustic difficulties that are related to consonant sounds found in the 17 phonemes in Arabic language, which are the sounds of the letter ب، ج، ت، د، ر، ث، ح، خ، ذ، ش، ص، ظ، ط، ض، ع، غ، ق . Ways to resolve this problem can be done in many different ways. One of them is using the three methods of sound exercises that are sound identification, sound distinguishing, and abstract sound identification (identifying sounds from sentences), and also by language games, by adjusting our self in speaking and listening to Arabic Language that is correct, by tahsin Al Quran with a professional supervisor, and by good Arabic songs.

Abstract

The scholars' concern with the knowledge of the Waqf and the Ibtida of their writings indicates that it is valuable in the sciences of the Qur'an. Since the Qur’an was revealed in Arabic, the teaching of this language is needed by the students of knowledge. The researcher wanted to highlight the relationship between the science of Waqf and Ibtida and teaching the Arabic. The research aimed to uncover the phenomenon of Waqf and Ibtida in the sciences of the Qur’an and their relationship with the teaching of the Arabic, and then clarify the proposed method to take advantage of the analysis of the Waqf and Ibtida limited in Surah Al-Dzariat in the teaching of the Arabic. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used descriptive analytical method based on the qualitative analysis model of Miles and Huberman. She followed its three steps that begins from data reduction and then data display and conclution, to obtain important data in the analysis of the issues of Waqf and Ibtida from that surah. The research had resulted in a number of results, the most important of which is to clarify the importance of the science of Waqf and Ibtida in the sciences of the Qur'an, and that this science is relevant to the teaching of the four language skills, and the appropriate way to apply the rules of Waqf and Ibtida in the teaching of Arabic is to carry out language training in accordance with the rules.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to know the meaning of the homonym between Arabic and Javanese from surah Al-Fatihah to Surah Al-Baqarah verse 1-25 to encourage the Javanesse to learn Arabic and to learn Arabic and to convince was a difficult thing, as well as to make Arabic learning easier by showing them the function of this homonym. The method of this study as: the descriptive analytical method for comparing between Arabic and Javanese. The result from this study showed that there were homonym between the two languages. And from these words there were some words had the complete similarity between to phonems and some words had lack similarity between two phonems, but the words with lack similarity were much more. This study also showed that there was an effective method to learn Arabic and how to apply the fuction of the homonym from the beginners of Javanese speaking students by putting these homonyms in conversation, discourse, and the exercise. The most Important result of this study were: there were difference and similarity in the two language from Arabic and Javanese, and every words had a different meaning.

Abstract

This research was aimed to identify waqf (the pause-the place where we may stop reading) and ibtida (the start- the place where we can start reading after the pause) and its application in the teaching of Arabic by taking example from al-Qur’an surah al-Qomar. Waqf and ibtida are among the important knowledge that should be learnt in order to help the reciter of al-Qur’an or the student of Arabic to get well understanding of al-Qur’an and Islamic knowledge, and to avoid mistakes we found in conversation or the reading that may cause incorrect meaning. The research used descriptive analytical method by collecting information and data related to the topic research. The qualitative analysis was used in Miles and Huberman and consists of four steps, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Result of the research proved that waqf and ibtida have a big relation in changing the meaning of an ayah: firstly, waqf that agrees with the meaning of ayah in surah al-Qomar reach fourty-four ayat and secondly, waqf between the bad and the good in surah al-Qomar reach eleven ayahs.. For this, research formulate effective way to practice through conversation and reading.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to The Effect of Using Mind Mapping on the 6th College Students in Mastery of Concept Related to Shorof Module of STIBA Ar-Raayah. In this research, the researcher chose random sampling by taking two class, the researcher took 30 college students as the sample. There were 15 in experimental class and 15 in controlled class. Experiment class was taught by mind mapping, while controlled class was taught without mind mapping (traditional method). The research conducted quantitative research by applying quasi experimental research with this method the writer can find out the effect of using mind mapping on the 6th college students in Mastery of Concept Related to Shorof Module of STIBA Ar-Raayah, the researcher practices learning by using mind mapping accompanied by examinations for each group, and then the researcher describes the results of her research. This research had shown that there are differences in exam results between the experimental class and the control class, where the results of the experimental class got (1,140) with percentages (75.93%) and the control class results got (1,080) with percentages (71.84%) and differences between both (60) with percentage (4.09%).

Abstract

Al Waqfu and al Ibtida’ is one of important part an Arabic languistic principle that every student of Arabic language have to understand clearly. Al Waqfu wa al Ibtida’ is a principle that arrange how to stop how to begin when reading sentences. This principle is guidience that assure the student of Arabic language catching the true meaning of the Arabic text that she or he reads, especially the Qur’an text. The implemementation of this principles may lead to missunderstanding the true meaning of a text. The implementation of this principle not only critical for the reader its also critical for the listener, they also could missunderstand the meaning of the text that they hear.The aim of this study is to analyse the methods that used by the islamic scholars to build the principle, especially tht related to the Qur’anic text. Second, this study will disscus the benefit of implementation of this principle in Arabic language study. This research is based on library research and discriptive analysis.The study several that Al-Waqaf is catagorized to four category that is; perfect stop, sufficent stop, good stop, and bad stop. Al- Ibtida’ is categorized to two category that is; good begining, and bad beging in Arabic language studies this knowladge could be use as parameter to evaluate the capacibility of a student in understanding the true meaning of the text that he or she reads. And teaching Arabic could be use for four skill especially reading skill. Arabic teaching in reading skill can use reading text because it one method to identify the means where he stopped reading and it could use dialogue reading. And the teacher can use onther method for this theaching.
