Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective ACPAE learning model that can restore students’ self-efficacy. The development of the ACPAE model is a modification of PACE learning by adding one stage in the form of action. Less varied learning models result in students being bored when learning mathematics is taking place. For mathematics learning to run more actively and achieve learning objectives, the learning model to be applied must be appropriate. Students perceive mathematics as a difficult and tiring subject. This results in decreased students’ self-efficacy. The data analysis technique was obtained from the validity test questionnaire, practicality test, and effectiveness test results with 15 junior high school students as the subject. The results showed that the ACPAE model of learning could increase students' activeness in learning. The level of self-efficacy of students was shown by daring to interact in group discussions and appearing confident in front of the class. Based on the results of the validity test, the ACPAE learning model module obtained a value of 78.8%, for Lesson Plan obtained a value of 76.6%, for Student Worksheet obtained a value of 76.3%, for student response questionnaires received a value of 88.3% while for the percentage of learning completeness by 86.6%. So that when viewed from the assessment criteria, the ACPAE model is very appropriate to be used as a variation of the mathematics learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pandaan in mathematics subject to one variable linear equation material during the Covid-19 pandemic in the academic year of 2020/2021 by applying the guided discovery learning model. This study type is Classroom Action Research by implementing 4 steps, namely: (1) Plan; (2) act); (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The research subjects were 34 grade VII J students of SMP Negeri 1 Pandaan. The data collection techniques were observation and test. The data analysis technique consists of two types, namely qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students who completed the first cycle reached 79% (27 students) and 21% (7 students) had not completed the study, while in the second cycle it reached 88% (30 students) and only 12% had not completed ( 4 students).

Abstract

Learning in the Covid-19 pandemic situation, all teachers are required to be able to present material using online methods, media and learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcomes of 8th grade students by using film media on the history of science during the Umaiyah period at State Junior High School 03 Tugu of Trenggalek during online learning. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This study used two cycles by applying four steps, namely: (1) Plan; (2) act; (3) observe; and (4) reflect. The instruments used are observation and tests. The data analysis techniques used are (1) Qualitative Data Analysis Techniques, and (2) Quantitative Data Analysis Techniques. The results showed that in the first cycle there were 30 (75%) of the students who had met the minimum standard of completeness and 10 (25%) of the students did not meet the minimum standard of completeness. While in cycle 2 it was known that there are 36 (90%) meet the minimum completeness standard and only 4 (10%) of the students did not meet the minimum completeness standard.

Abstract

Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, there are many obstacles experienced by schools and teachers so that Indonesia needs to find a new formula in designing quality education in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). the type of this research is a literature study research. The data collection method used is by using Big Data Analysis. The results show that education in Indonesia is ranked 5th and 2nd place below Malaysia. In addition, more than 70% of classrooms at every level of education were damaged. The percentage of teachers who have the proper qualifications to teach at the elementary, junior high, and vocational levels in 2020 is 90%. However, this development is not matched by the percentage of teachers who are qualified to teach at the high school level which has decreased from the previous 97.95 percent to 89.93. Papua province occupies the lowest school participation rate in Indonesia and the Special Region of Yogyakarta has the highest school participation rate in Indonesia, namely 97.07%. Quoted from Katadata.co.id in 2020 that 92% of respondents aged 17 years and over learn to feel a lot of problems in participating in online learning.

Abstract

The growth of science and technology that is increasingly modern lately demands a high morality and understanding of nationalism, because science and knowledge that is not accompanied by a high level of nationalism and morality causes education, especially civic education loses its virtue as a humanist forum. Not a few people have good citizenship knowledge and outstanding academic achievements but do not provide significant benefits in their community, even become a source of problems for the community which is very dangerous for the existence of culture and human values because of the spirit of nationalism and low morality. Negative effects of globalization such as immoral cases committed by students in universities and intellectuals, as we have known through television broadcasts and mass media lately. It illustrates that the education carried out so far has not touched the realm of student awareness.

Abstract

Javanese language subjects are based on a cultural framework that includes three forms of culture, starting from what appears on the surface in the form of physical culture, then social systems, to the system of ideas that exist in Javanese culture. In this case, the Javanese language functions as a means of communication as well as of preserving and developing Javanese cultural values. Thus the learning approach is more directed to a communicative and pragmatic approach by emphasizing the affective aspect. Unggah-ungguh basa is a manifestation of the Javanese cultural value system as a form of excellence in the Javanese language. This is a point of emphasis so that anyone who learns Javanese is expected to be able to speak Javanese skillfully, behave politely, and have good character. The current problem, with the pandemic, is that most of the learning is carried out remotely. Of course, in the implementation of distance learning, there are many problems or obstacles that must be accepted. Basically distance learning is a type of learning where students are far from the educator, so that education cannot be done face-to-face and the delivery of messages from educators to students must be done through the media. Distance learning during the pandemic is an alternative to teaching and learning activities that are usually carried out offline. Utilizing technology that is always evolving in the world of education. For this reason, the aspects studied both pragmatically and theoretically in this study are the problems in the implementation of distance learning of Javanese language, namely the readiness of teachers and students, the obstacles faced when distance learning takes place in schools.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a wide variety of cultures and national wealth which must be used as one of the nation's identities which can bring about change in Indonesia culturally and openness in the attitude of society which encourages the progress of the nation, all because of the Indonesian philosophy called Pancasila. One of the typical dances of the people of Tohe Leten and Raihat subdistrict in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is the tebe dance. The Tebe dance is performed by men and women holding hands while singing in unison, chanting poetry and rhymes containing praise, criticism, or requests, while stomping their feet to the rhythm of the song. However, many of the younger generation of the Tohe Laten community cannot yet do the tebe dance and the meaning of each movement in the tebe dance. The purpose of this research is (1) to find out how the study of tebe dance in Tohe Leten village is conducted (2) to find out the Pancasila values ??contained in the meaning of tebe dance in Tohe Leten village (3) to find out how the community preserves tebe dance in Tohe village leten. Based on the research results, the cultural meaning of tebe dance in Tohe Leten village is the first study of tebe dance in Tohe Leten village, which is an expression of joy at success on the battlefield against the Dutch. Tebe dance is a dance that originates from Tohe Leten village, Raihat subdistrict, East Nusa Tenggara which was born around 1990. Meanwhile, the Pancasila values ??contained in the Pancasila cultural meaning are the values ??of leadership, human values, unity values, populist values??, and justice values. The community preserves this tebe dance by holding competitions and traditional events.
