Abstract

In Indonesia, corn is an important food commodity after rice, so its production must be improved. That can be done to increase corn production is by using the right varieties and the provision of fertilizer, one of them by using biofertilizer. This study aims to (1) determine the effect of interaction between varieties with the dosage of biological fertilizer, (2) to know the effect of varieties, (3) to know the effect of the dosage of biological fertilizer, (4) get the best interaction between varieties with biofertilizer, (5) get the best varieties, (6) get the best biofertilizer dose on growth and sweet corn yield on swamp land. This research was conducted in Tambalang Kecil Village, Sungai Pandan from April to July 2017. Using Factor Random Design (RAK) Factorial 2 factors. The first factor is varieties with 3 levels: v1 = Janisa F1 Varieties, v2 = Bonanza F1 Varieties, v3 = Super Sweet Corn Varieties. The second factor is the dosage of Migro Green biological fertilizer with 3 levels: h1 = 4 ℓ.ha-1 equivalent to 1.38 mℓ.plot-1, h2 = 6 ℓ.ha-1 equivalent to 2.06 mℓ.plot-1, h3 = 8 ℓ.ha-1 is equivalent to 2.75 mℓ.plot-1. The results showed that the interaction between the varieties and the biological fertilizer did not affect the growth and results, but the significant effect on the weight of cob without cornhosk, while the single factor varieties significantly affect the growth and very significant effect on yield components and biofertilizer has no effect on the vegetative growth component, but have a significant effect on generative growth component and yield component.

Abstract

Almost all societies use beans. Beans are the usual food consumed by the people of Indonesia. The local microorganism (MOL) is a fermented solution based on various locally available resources. MOL solution contains micro and macro nutrients and also contains potential bacteria as organic material remodel, growth stimulant and as agent of plant pests and diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth response and plant yield (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) to various doses of MOL banana cobs, and get the best dose. This research was conducted at BPTP South Kalimantan in Muara Rintis Village, Batang Alai Utara Subdistrict, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, from April to July 2017. This research uses single factor RAK with 4 levels ie m1 = 125 ml per plant, m2 = 250 ml per plant , m3 = 375 ml per plant, m4 = 500 ml per plant each treatment was repeated 6 times so that there were 24 experimental units. The results showed no effect on the observed variables.

Abstract

Candlenut (Aleurites moluccana) is one of commodities widely grown in indonesia and undergo development production a rapid progress .Production plantation the people plants candlenut in 2014 reached 107,3 thousand tons (bps, 2014). Charcoal active are carbon already activated so pores open so retention is greater than the charcoal ordinary .The purpose of this research is to determine variety of and concentration activator chemical the best in the process activation so that can improve the quality of the active charcoal shells fruit candlenut produced. Design experiments used in in this research is a random a group (a shelf ) consisting of 2 factors , namely factors 1 is the type activator chemical ( j ) and factors 2 is the concentration of a solution activator ( a knockout ) .Of two factors obtained 9 kind of combination those who each experienced remedial treatment as much as two times order to obtain 18 unit treatment. The best treatment in this research was naoh 15 % that can be seen from the results of the parameter levels of carbon bound and absorption capacity iod more better than other treatment

Abstract

Snakehead fish is one kind of fresh water fish which found in swamp, rivers and lakes.  Snakehead fish obtained from fishing and cultivation.  Snakehead fish contains high protein especially as albumin source for beneficial healthy.  This study was aimed to determine edible portion and chemical composition of snakehead fish on three groups size (weight)  of snakehead fish from pond cultivation. Snakehead fish were divided in to three groups by weight size : B group (801-1100 gr), S group (501-800 gr), K group (200-500 gr).  Procedure was carried out by measurement of fish body and proximate analysis.   The result showed the highest edible portion was found on B group and lowest edible portion in K group.  The highest water content found on K group were 78.63% and the lowest on S group were 77.17%.The highest protein content found on B group were 18.12% and the lowest on S group were 17.14%.  The highest fat content found on S group were 2.43% and the lowest on K group were 2.05%.  The highest carbohydrate found on B group were 0.91% and the lowest on K group were 0.72%.  The highest ash content found on S group were 1.79% and the lowest ash content on K group were 1.36%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of soil fertility in terms of chemical kriteria soil in forest areas with special purpose. From this study, information about the condition of the land, as consideration in the context of the assessment and soil conservation efforts to be undertaken in the future. The research was conducted in September 2015 to November 2105, in the forest area with special purpose (KHDTK) UMP Mungku Baru Village Rakumpit District of the city of Palangkaraya. Object of research, namely land under forest stands, by: (a) take samples of the soil in the topsoil at a depth of between 0-20 cm (above), 20-30 cm (the middle one), 30-60 cm (center 2), and 70-100 cm (in), land was taken in composites,  soil samples were taken at each distance + 1 meter direction of the wind, then mixed and stirred evenly (composite), then taken of approximately 1 kg to be analyzed in laboratory, and (b) as many as four soil samples have been taken and then dinalisis in the laboratory for chemical soil properties known circumstances. The results of soil analysis compared with the assessment criteria of physical and chemical properties of land according to the Institute for Land Research Center, Bogor, the Status fertility of the soil at a depth of 0-30 cm is moderate to high, while the planting depth 30-60 cm of low fertility, although the contribution of organic materials from the vegetation on it  high.
