Abstract

Paddy (Oryza sativa L.) is a commodity that is widely cultivated by the people of Hulu Sungai Utara, because the area is in the low land in the form of lebak swamps. Generally cultivated rice varieties that have early maturity. The use of various new superior rice varieties is one way to increase rice productivity in addition to fertilization. By giving various doses of biofertilizer, it is expected to increase rice productivity. This study aims to determine (i) the effect of the interaction of varieties and biofertilizers, (ii) the influence of rice varieties (iii) the effect of biofertilizers, (iv) the best interaction of rice varieties and biofertilizer (v) the best rice varieties and (vi) the best dosage of biofertilizers for the growth and yield of rice plants in swampy swamps. Using a Randomized Factor Two-factor factorial group. The first factor was 3 varieties of rice (V) and the second factor was the administration of biofertilizers (P) with 5 doses. The results showed that there was an effect of rice variety interaction on the number of tillers aged 27 HST, obtained the best varieties of v1 treatment (Inpari 17 varieties) and biofertilizers at p0 treatment affected the number of tillers aged 37 HST in lebak swamps.

Abstract

This study based on analyzing the crude protein and crude fibre on the fermented corn cobs using deferent level of buffalo rumen fluid. Research compiled based on experiment with Complete Random Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications namely T0 = 0% buffalo rumen fluid  (control), T1 = 20% buffalo rumen fluid, T2 = 40% buffalo rumen fluid, T3 = 60% buffalo rumen fluid, T4 = 80% buffalo rumen fluid. The variables measured is the value of crude protein and crude fiber. Result of this research show that using buffalo rumen fluid at 80% level could be increase the highest crude protein (28,38%) and decrease the lowest crude fibre (8.22%). Concluded that the buffalo rumen fluid could be turn up crude protein and turn down crude fiber of corn cob fermentation. Advised many buffalo rumen fluid that can be administered to a corn cob fermentation is as much as 80%.

Abstract

The research aimed to assess the impact of Gapoktan in implementing agribusiness effort development program and analyzed the activities of agribusiness and development programs in Lau district, Maros Regency. The parameters to be measured are the impact of the development of rural agribusiness of rice farming by farmers. The research used a survey method with interview techniques (questionnaire). Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique by taking as many as 10% of the total respondent in two research villages, where the respondents were selected as many as 52 respondents. The results of the study obtained the level of effectiveness of the results of the study in the implementation of the Rural Agribusiness Development Program on the performance of Gapoktan was quite effective. The performance aspects of the farmer group combination, that was the Interest Level, consisted of Organizational Level with a score of 517 which was quite effective, Fund Management with a score of 517 was quite effective, and Farmer Business with  a score of 515 was quite effective. But, the iteam about the Level of Strength consisted of an Organizational Level with a score of 523 being quite effective, Fund Management with a score of 511 was quite effective, and Farming with a score of 511 was quite effective, meaning that  the performance program of the farmer group combination members carried out its duties, so the implementation of the above program was quite effective. The rice farming acceptance after the program has increased, the implementation of the program shows a value of -15.778 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, Hi accepted means that there is a difference in the level of farmers before and after the significant rural agribusiness development. Program where the average before the program shows farmers' acceptance of Rp. 15,553,192.31, while after the program, the average income of farmers is Rp. 18,791,826.92. Thus, the average difference value was 3,238,634.61 or 20,82%. And, the income from the total cost, so that part of the farmer's income is the value of -14.126 with a significance of   0.000 < 0.05, Hi accepted means that there is a difference in the level of income of farmers in the Rural Agribusiness Development Program. With an average income before obtaining a program fund of Rp. 11,763,124.81 per harvest, while after the program the average income is Rp. 14,681,875.00 per harvest. Thus, the average difference is 2,918,750.19 or 24.81%.

Abstract

Surimi is  a minced fish that washed with water and added cryoprotectants, can be made using various types of fish, especially for white fleshed fish. This study aimed to determine the best characteristics of surimi from various types of fish. The treatments were  P1 (Belida; Chitala sp), P2 (Nila; Oreochromis niloticus), P3 (Biji Nangka; Openeus moluccensis) and P4 (Bandeng; Chanos-chanos). The parameters tested in this study were yield, moisture content, protein content, pH, and folding test.  This study applied Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The results of this study showed that the type of species was significant affected the yield parameters, protein content and pH, but were not significant to the moisture content. The high protein content was found in P3 (Upeneus moluccensis) of 21.1%. The best folding test for surimi gel was found in P4 (milkfish) with a value of 4, included in grade A.
