Abstract

The character of nations that now becomes the focus on various life aspects ishonesty. Now, the value of honesty is used as an example of a precious and costly thing. The weak value of honesty in school, like cheating and lying to a teacher, will negatively affect the education process and the learning outcome. The value of honesty can be improved through self-service canteen, so the material or main topic of the lesson in the subject can be immediately implemented. Self-service canteen is one of the effective strategies that enablethe students to learn and practice implementing the values of anti-corruption and as a forum for the education of the prospective anti-corruption national leader. The study conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Malang discussed (1) the implementation of character-building education development through the management of self-service canteen at SMA Negeri 8 Malang, (2) the description of the obstacles found in the implementation, (3) the description of solutionsto reduce the obstacles during the implementation. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, in which the researcher was directly involved to find out information related to the title of the study. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. In addition, the informants were the headmaster, vice headmaster for student affairs, the coordinator of anti-corruption education/self-service canteen, civics teacher, and students ofSMA Negeri 8 Malang. Based on the research finding, the conclusion was obtained as follows: (1) Anti-corruption education/self-service canteen was launched 6 months ago. The concept was simple by providing snacks and beverages. The food was displayed on a table with is the price tag. There was a box for money from the box. The management mechanism was fully offered to the students, under the guidance of the management coordinator self-servicecanteen. (2) There was not any available change. Consequently, some students who owed forgot to pay. (3) The coordinator of self-service canteen gave instructions and guidance to the students continuously during the flag ceremony and the class activity, inserted the lesson materials about honesty, fairness, simplicity, struggle, and others.

Abstract

To build Indonesia should be grounded on the values of the existing nationality. But at present, these values began to fade. The next generation is losing confidence in their nation. So need an effort to make national values can flourish and inspired by all the people to build the nation’s character. Brawijaya Museum is one of the institutions that can strengthen the character of nationalism youth through collections owned. This is a descriptive study using qualitative methods. Its collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The method are data analysis, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that: a) Museum Brawijaya as a form of role in the values of nationality is to tell museum collections to visitors and participate or actively in exhibitions organized by relevant institutions, b) Management of the museum include ways attract the attention of visitors, human resources, funding, technical management of the collection and management of the library, c) Visitors response after visiting the museum is satisfied that a lot of national values that they can get that put the interests of the nation above personal interests, capable and willing to sacrifice for the nation and country, love homeland and nation, proud nation and state of Indonesia, uphold the unity of the nation and the state.

Abstract

Leadership and human deifying two sides of the coin, who one another cannot beseparated, because basically human being born as the leader of the leadership. Leadership there are in all orgnisasai, from the level of most small and intimate, namely of a family until the village level, the city, the state, from the local level, regional and national, and international. Leadership village did not only occupied by men. With the advent of the times, now the position of women in the domain of political start to arise, especially for the village head. The arrival of the village head women certainly makes a fresh to women to actively involved in the domain of politica, but it a little bit too some the community to the eyes ofleadership the village head women. The problems to take is setting off from the responses the community with the absence of a head village women, methods and type leadership, with the constraints of faced and the solution offered. Data collection obtained through observation directly, photographing matters related to research and interview deeply on eleven informants. Data analyzed qualitatively consisting of three grooves activities that happen simultaneouslynamely reduction data, presentation of data and the withdrawal of a conclusion or data verification. The result of this research suggests that there are community members who the pros and cons with leadership the head of the village women, while methods of his leadership used sensitive to suggestions and use tipy misionary and developer type. While for obstacles faced the village head was the readiness of and willingness when needed by the local peopleup at any time. The solution offered to the village head in reducing the in leadership is to grow of the nature of trusted each other. When we do not capable of finised own, so finish by means of to distribute with the neares (deliberation ).

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a very high level of pluralism and a complex level of social plurality. The Indonesian nation has been aware of the diversity of languages, cultures, religions, ethnicities and ethnicities, the understanding of the value of Unity in Diversity in Indonesian society can be manifested integrally with the cooperation of all components of the nation, both by the government as the organizer of the country and each individual's private citizens. Asian Games is the biggest moment of the Asian nation, especially in the field of sports that have been held since the 1950s. The 2014 Asian Games is certainly not only a matter of sports from various branches, but for a moment as an Indonesian citizen there is certainly a spirit of unity in diversity in its implementation

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the implementation of character education; 2) Identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of character education; 3) Unveil solutions to overcome obstacles faced in the implementation of character education at Nurul Hidayah Orphanage. Approach and type of research used is descriptive qualitative with kind of field research. Research location one month research. Data collection techniques usedare observation, interview and documentation study. Analytical technique using Milles and Huberman model with technique of validity of data of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Based on the research results obtained as follows: 1) Character Education at NurulHidayah Orphanage has been strived to develop intellectual and spiritual intelligence with different backgrounds of parenting. 2) Supporting factors in the implementation ofCharacter Education at NurulHidayah Orphanage are: While the inhibiting factors are: the tendency of caregivers to take care of limited to the level of cognitive and religious only; there are still some caregivers who subordinate character education; the varying character of each child and the lack of recognition of the caregiver of each character; and there are still violations of regulations in the Orphanage. 3) Solutions in overcoming the obstacles that occur are: through the direction and evaluation of all Orphanage management; spiritual guidance and counseling; control of the child's intercourse synergistically by the carer.
