Abstract

This research aims to improve HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) in learning Indonesian through the Problem Based Learning Model at IAKN Manado. This research uses descriptive qualitative analytic method. Based on the research results obtained (1) Problem-based learning model (PBM) is a learning model that requires students to think critically and creatively in answering or solving problems related to learning Indonesian language. The problem is related to language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, but is more focused on productive skills, which are speaking and writing. In applying this model, students become active, creative, and critical in solving problems. (2) Critical and creative attitude in solving problems in learning Indonesian language can directly improve the high-level thinking skills (HOTS) of IAKN Manado students. That means HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) or the ability to think at a higher level is one of the skills or abilities that students need to have in finding solutions to the problems offered in learning Indonesian language. Problem Based Learning Model is one of the learning models that can improve HOTS. Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis related to the development of student ability as evidenced by the initial test, test cycle 1, and test cycle 2. In the initial test, the score is dominated by score 1 with an interval of 0-39 reached a percentage of 48%, while a score 4 with an interval of 85-100 reached 0%. At the end of cycle 1, an increase in score 4, which increased to 15%, while score 1 decreased to 7% and the same result applies to the end value of cycle 2. In cycle 2 the score 4 continued to increase and reached a percentage of 30%. The data shows that the application of the problem based learning model in the Indonesian Language course at IAKN Manado was able to improve higher order thinking skills (HOTS). Suggestions: 1) Problem-based learning model is able to encourage students to develop and improve critical and creative thinking skills in efforts to solve problems. This shows that the application of problem based learning model can improve higher order thinking skills (HOTS). 2) Problem-based learning model is able to improve the ability to think at a higher level (HOTS) which is portrayed through an increasingly critical and creative way of thinking and encourage all the potentials in students. In addition, problem-based learning can increase the courage of students so that they are automatically active in learning activities. Problem-based learning model can be used in learning Indonesian language and other subjects as well.

Abstract

This purpose research be explore social reality based on actual problems. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method that is supported by historical methods. The results showed that the economic crisis during the Old Testament and the New Testament which was triggered by moral damage cannot be separated from the social structure of society at that time. The exploitation of the poor has become a common sight in the Ancient Near East including among the Hebrews. Rich people can't afford to buy other people's money. It was very apparent in the economic crisis, the chosen group took advantage of fellow Hebrew brothers. While the Law of Exodus and Holiness took loans given to the poor Hebrews asking for interest (Ex. 22:25; Lev. 25:37) and the rich Hebrews supported the lives of their poor fellow countrymen (Leviticus 25:35 -36 ). These two laws are guidelines for God's people who must be opposed and behave, that is, helping and arguing with one another (Matt. 18: 23-35; 1 John 4:11). The conclusion of the global economic crisis occurred because people of this age began to use a pattern that was used in the days of the Old Testament and the New Testament, namely the greedy nature that is more moral to build humans in developed countries. Morality is no longer a benchmark in carrying out economic activities, but is materialistic or obtaining wealth, and earns the maximum profit without considering the interests and needs of developing countries and poor countries.

Abstract

Changes in World Epistemology: Attacks on Objective Christian Epistemology. In ancient times people knew the truth horizontally just good and bad. This methodology is not only used by Christian theists but for those who reject the existence of God as the foundation of truth. Until the 20th century, there was a new methodology used to achieve truth, which was very different from the old methodology, which is subjective truth or truth that depends on individuals who know. These changes are very large and spread everywhere from the start of philosophical thought, art, until now began to affect theology and faith today. This paper was written by combining the methods of literature study and deconstruction to the root of the problem to discuss the brief history of the characters who started this thought from Hegel to ignite Kierkegaard's thoughts and from there provide space for the New Age Movement to enter. Then the researcher will discuss how Christianity responds to this new methodology Biblically and finally gives implications in the form of how this methodology is used to provide answers related to questions that for hundreds or even thousands of years since the days of Ancient Greece and even before it has been questioned by humans.

Abstract

This researh reviews the evangelistic strategies of transvestites in the Jakarta bandan village, who are entitled to the way of salvation through the gospel. Judging from the number of transvestites who do not understand the direction and purpose of escaping, a biblical evangelistic strategy can lead them to repentance that is truly and pleasing to their original nature as men. The form of research carried out is qualitative with methods of observation, literature and interviews with sources in the Jakarta Bandan village area. Resource persons, discuss that they have not been able to solve the lives of transvestites. Researchers see very significant results to restore the lives of transvestites through biblical evangelistic strategies. A change of life and a smarter mindset for the personal awakening of transvestites. Researchers concluded, evangelism is a request that must be done for every person who believes in the word of God. Of course, by applying biblical evangelism, one must go through competent education, training and learning. It seems to be big enough so that transvestites from the Jakarta bandan village can do the word of God that they have received.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide an understanding of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, and provide a SWOT analysis of language and literature learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. The results of the study, that the industrial revolution 4.0 has driven the automation system in all activity processes. Internet technology is increasingly massive (something that happens on a large and wide scale), not only connecting millions of people around the world, but also has become the basis for online trade and transportation transactions. The era of Industrial 4.0is an era of disruption. This phenomenon develops in changing patterns of the business world. The presence of the industrial revolution 4.0 which is based on cyber-physical systems has changed our lives. Artificial intelligence, internet ofthings, printing, robots, and intelligent machines have massively replaced human labor. In conclusion, through the SWOT analysis, it is found that there are strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats / challenges of Indonesian language and literature in the face of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0, especially in creating entrepreneurial opportunities based on Indonesian language and literature. The solution that can be taken is the diversification of language and literature skills based on technology, information, industry and humanization.
