As network requirement of a new generation emerges, such as the endless stream of multimedia services and data center network, network management is heavy, extremely difficult and prone to error. How to achieve the self-management of the network, reduce manual input and improve stability and high efficiency of network is a hot topic in the field of network technology. As we known, network element needs to support the capability of self-management. But in the ForCES architecture, the self-management of network nodes is clearly insufficient. Based on the cognition with the characteristics of artificial intelligence, we explore the ForCES architecture introducing cognizance. So it has the capable of self-learning and self-management. This paper focuses on introducing the basic features, architecture and key technologies of cognition-based ForCES by means of the traditional definition and features of ForCES. The background of this paper is the warehouse target localization and tracking system which is composed of a number of wireless sensor nodes. Firstly this paper established a model of warehouse target localization and tracking system, then a model of multi-sensor data preprocessing and data fusion was established, and self-adaptive linear recursive method was used to eliminate outliers of the original measured data. Then least squares fitting filter was used to do filtering and denoising for the measured data. In the end, the data which were measured by multi-sensor can be fused by Kalman Filtering algorithm. Data simulation analysis shows that the use of kalman filtering algorithm for the fusion of the data measured by multi-sensor is to obtain more accurate warehouse target location data, so as to increase the positioning and tracking accuracy of the warehouse target localization and tracking system.Key Words:Wireless Sensor Network,Data Fusion,Kalman Filtering DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i3.2195

In the view of nonlinear spherical percolation problem of dual porosity reservoir, a mathematical model considering three types of outer boundary conditions: closed, constant pressure, infinity was established in this paper. The mathematical model was linearized by substitution of variable and became a boundary value problem of ordinary differential equation in Laplace space by Laplace transformation. It was verified that such boundary value problem with one type of outer boundary had a similar structure of solution. And a new method: Similar Constructive Method was obtained for solving such boundary value problem. By this method, solutions with similar structure in other two outer boundary conditions were obtained. The Similar Constructive Method raises efficiency of solving such percolation model. A kind of interference measurement system with crystal is designed, which is not influenced much by other factors such as vibration for the property of common path. For the distance measurement, the phase of fringes is calculated on the oblique incident holography to avoid effects of fringe curvature, backup and light fluctuation. But the measurement result is affected by the uniformity of the crystal, and another method of adjusting position based on normal incident holography is also discussed. B-splines function is used to calculate zero position in normal incident holography, which is fitted over the patch image around gray extreme points of the stripes obtained by gray projection. Experiment results show that combining the normal and oblique incident holography reduce the repeatability error of the system and improve the measurement precision effectively. In this work, the robust position control scheme is proposed for the electro-mechanical system using the disturbance observer and backstepping control method. To the external unknown load of the electro-mechanical system, the nonlinear disturbance observer is given to estimate the external unknown load. Combining the output of the developed nonlinear disturbance observer with backstepping technology, the robust position control scheme is proposed for the electro-mechanical system. The stability of the closed-loop control system has been proved via the Lyapunov analysis technique. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed disturbance-observer-based position control scheme of the electro-mechanical system. Allan variance method is a useful tool for analyzing the random errors, but the confidence on the estimate would be lower when the data length became shorter, therefore the modified Allan variance is deduced to analysis the random errors of MEMS inertial sensors (MINS). The definition and limitation of Allan variance are presented first, and then the modified Allan variance is deduced. Allan variance method is compared with modified Allan variance by identifying the simulated 1/f noises, meanwhile the results are illuminated. In the end, the random errors of MEMS inertial sensors were analyzed by the proposed methods. The characteristics of MEMS accelerometers’ and MEMS gyros’ stochastic errors are identified and quantified. The derived error model can be applied further to our attitude and heading reference system of the underwater robot. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i3.2190

The objective of this paper is to evaluate an innovative application of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) on the fault diagnosis of automobile crane hydraulic power steering (HPS) system. Contents of Fe, Cu and Al were examined by ICP-AES in the oil samples of HPS system for four different mileages of Puyuan QY50H. The mileages were 2000-9000 km, 11000-19000 km, 21000-28000 km and 32000-40000 km separately. Database of major mental contents in automobile crane HPS system of Puyuan QY50H with different mileage were calibrated. Results showed that, major mental contents were increased with the increasing of driving mileage and the normal contents laid between two trend lines. Through the determination of mental contents in HPS oil sample and further compared them with the values in their database, we could not only evaluate the wear condition of automobile crane HPS system, but also helped to diagnose the faults without dissembled the problematic vehicle. The results further indicated that, in time maintenance, high quality and low cost reparation could be realized by the application of ICP-AES technology on fault diagnosis of automobile crane power steering system. Multi-pattern matching methods based on numerical computation are advanced in this paper. Firstly it advanced the multiple patterns matching algorithm based on added information. In the process of accumulating of information, the select method of byte-accumulate operation will affect the collision odds , which means that the methods or bytes involved in the different matching steps should have greater differences as much as possible. In addition, it can use balanced binary tree to manage index to reduce the average searching times, and use the characteristics of a given pattern set by setting the collision field to eliminate collision further. In order to reduce the collision odds in the initial step, the information splicing method is advanced, which has greater value space than added information method, thus greatly reducing the initial collision odds. Multiple patterns matching methods based on numerical computation fits for large multi-pattern matching. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i3.2232

To solve the complex thrust allocation problems of dynamic positioning ship with azimuth thrusters, the quadratic programming thrust allocation and management system was built. The power optimal thrust allocation was formulated as a quadratic programming problem by the linear treatments of inequality constraints and the optimal solution could be found in a finite amount of time. And some influence factors of thruster allocation were separated from algorithms and treated as a superstratum management module. In this system, online adjustment of input constraints and singularity avoidance could be realized, and the reliability and adaptability of thrust allocation were improved consequently. Finally, the validity and excellent performance of this method was proved by the simulation. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i3.2318

Design of automobile modeling DNA is the core that makes enterprises establish a good and unique brand image to win on market. This paper described the definition and meaning of production DNA, also discussed the composition of production DNA and researched the design ideas of production DNA from both macro and micro aspects. Finally, it recommended would research the traditional culture into the past, present and future of three periods, explored the idea of traditional culture that the automobile modeling DNA inherited under these three periods and analyzed with the red flag car as an example. This research provided a guideline to help automotive corporations to implement brand strategies, and helped to design autos with Chinese elements, sense of the times and fashion trends and can perform the modern mental outlook of Chinese people.
