Abstract

The paper studies the exponential lag synchronization of a class of delayed chaotic neural networks with impulsive effects via the unidirectional linear coupling. Some sufficient conditions are derived by establishing impulsive differential delay inequality and using M-matrix theory. An illustrative example is also provided to show the effectiveness and feasibility of the impulsive control method. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2692

Abstract

To accurately diagnose the mechanical failure of the fan, two diagnostic methods based on the wavelet packet energy feature and sample entropy feature are proposed. Vibration signals acquisition of 13 kinds of running states are achieved on the 4-73 No.8D centrifugal fan test bench. The wavelet packet energy feature vector of each vibration signal is rapidly extracted through the wavelet packet denoising, decomposition and reconstruction. The vibration signal wavelet packet energy feature vector of the five measuring points in the same instantaneous running state are fused into the fan fault feature vector. Finally, the fault diagnosis of the fan is achieved by using improved SVM (Support Vector Machine) classifier, and the accuracy rate is 94.6%. A new fan fault feature vector is put forward, which is the integration of the vibration signal sample entropy of the five measuring points in the same instantaneous running state, and then the fault diagnosis of the fan is achieved by using improved BP (Back Propagation) neural network, and the accuracy rate is 99.23%. The diagnostic results show that these two methods are able to effectively diagnose the category, severity and site of the fan mechanical failures, and suitable for online diagnosis. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2722

Abstract

Two dimensional barcode had widely applied in identity authentication. In this paper, the symbol structure of PDF417 barcode was introduced, and the image processing methods used in PDF417 barcode recognition were researched. A quick and effective method to calculate the width of the unit module in PDF417 barcode was proposed, and a recognition and decoding system of PDF417 barcode based on software development platform of the LabVIEW virtual instrument was designed and implemented. The system could process and analyze the images containing PDF417 barcode collected by camera in real time, and achieve the fast and omnibearing decoding of the barcode. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2607

Abstract

Collision detection is an important aspect in many real-time simulation environments.  Due to its nature of high Computation involved, collision detection can contribute to the bottleneck on the system involving large number of interacting objects.  This paper focuses on finding options to efficiently cull away object pairs that are not likely to collide in large-scale dynamic rigid-body simulations involving n-body objects.  The main idea is to perform time critical computing concept by manipulation of potential bounding volume techniques.  In order to take advantage of a fast collision test and a more accurate result, a hybrid collision culling approach based on sphere - or-Dops was used.  Based on initial results, this approach shows a potential adaptation to a massive rigid body simulation. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2656

Abstract

In allusion to unmanned vehicle steering control of the brushless DC motor control system, traditional PID controller parameter adjustment complex, weak ability to adapt to the environment and other issues, on the basis of the analysis of internal model control and classical PID control internal corresponding relationship, comprehensive its advantages, The design uses a brushless DC motor in the steering control system for unmanned vehicles based on the internal model PID controller ( IMC-PID) for speed. Based on the build object theoretical model, online simulation controller show that, for the design objects, based on the internal model PID controller whether the system step response or disturbance tracking control effect can reach the classic PID control requirements, also reduces the complexity and randomness of the design parameters. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2673

Abstract

Innovatively, neural network function programming in the BPNN (BP neural network) tool boxes from MATLAB are applied, and data processing is done about CYJ-101 pressure sensor, and the problem of the sensor temperature compensation is solved. The paper has made the pressure sensors major sensors and temperature sensor assistant sensors, input the voltage signal from the two sensors into the established BP neural network model, and done the simulation under the NN Toolbox environment of MATLAB. From the compensation result, it has be found that the temperature interference variable effects on the pressure output identity has dropped from 22% to 1.1%,greatly improved the pressure sensor measurement precision and anti-interference ability. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2687

Abstract

In the paper, use the n-tangle, as a measure of entanglement to investigate the superposition of Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states for even n qubits. The paper show that orthogonal basis with the GHZ state can be divided into two group via SLOCC –invariant. In the same group, an expression for any two superposed state is provided, when the superposition coefficient is real, the n-tangle of superposed state is invariable. Otherwise, In the different group, which can get a different expression if the superposed state come from different group. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2718

Abstract

For tracking the object with tracking nonlinear, high maneuvering target, traditional interactive multiple model self-adaptive filter algorithm was usually adopted. The turning rate estimate was very important. However, the performance of turning rate algorithm was not so satisfactory in the  model. Thus,a new the average value turning rate algorithm based on self-adaptive turning model was proposed.Aiming at additional device for turning rate estimation turning model, the parameters α and β were introduced to adjust the roughness of turning rate.Aiming at target constant turning movement and orthogonal turning rate unequal, estimates, turning rate was used the average value model to reduce the noise and error influence. Simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm was more suitable for the objects with Nonlinear, high maneuvering target tracking and could remarkably reduce the sample, and thus achieve much better tracking performance. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2602

Abstract

Eu2+ions doped Sr2MgSiO5 phosphors, and Eu2+- Mn2+ions-doped Sr2MgSiO5 phosphors were prepared via high-temperature solid state reaction method and sol-gel process, respectively. Luminescent mechanism and characteristics of all samples were studied. The results showed that lattice structure of Eu2+ ion-doped Sr2MgSiO5 samples was pyramidal system. The influence of flux on luminescence properties of Eu2+ ion-doped Sr2MgSiO5 phosphor was studied. The results of spectral analysis showed that flux changed the emission intensity of Sr2MgSiO5: Eu2+ samples at different wavelengths. Emission wavelength and relative intensity of the samples changed. In order to study the luminescence properties and energy transfer between Eu2+ and Mn2+, Eu2+ ions and Mn2+ ions co-doped samples were prepared. The results showed that excitation bands of the samples ranged from 250nm to 450 nm. When excited at 365nm, the emission spectrum of the samples consisted of three bands: blue, green and red, respectively. When Eu2+ ions and Mn2+ ions co-doped, the energy of Eu2+ ions was transferred to Mn2+ ions, which made Mn2+ ions became luminescence center in Sr2MgSiO5host. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i6.2642
