Modern steel grades require constant and reproducible production conditions both in the hot strip mill and in the cooling section to achieve constant material properties along the entire strip length and from strip to strip. Calculation of the temperature in final rolling process always utilizes factors such as the work piece's inner organizational structure, plastic deformation, and it's variations of properties and so on, also as well as the physical parameters such as gauge, shape, etc. In this paper, a finite element model is constructed for the temperature field in a rolling process. The temperature field of strip steel is modeled with a 3-D finite element analysis (FEA) structure, simultaneously considering the distribution of the work roll temperature. Then the distribution of field is simulated numerically. From the model, the temperature contours can be obtained by analysis of the temperature distribution of contact area. At the same time, the distribution of temperature in any position at any time can be acquired. These efforts provide the reliable parameters for the later finishing temperature and shape control. Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) is one of the core problems in testing of digital circuits. ATPG algorithms based on Boolean Satisfiability (SAT) turned out to be very powerful, due to great advances in the performance of satisfiability solvers for propositional logic in the last two decades. SAT-based ATPG clearly outperforms classical approaches especially for hard-to-detect faults. But its inaccessibility of structural information and don’t care, there exists the over-specification problem of input patterns. In this paper we present techniques to delve into an additional layer to make use of structural properties of the circuit and value justification relations to a generic SAT algorithm. It joins binary decision graphs (BDD) and SAT techniques to improve the efficiency of ATPG. It makes a study of inexpensive reconvergent fanout analysis of circuit to gather information on the local signal correlation by using BDD learning, then uses the above learned information to restrict and focus the overall search space of SAT-based ATPG. The learning technique is effective and lightweight. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the approach. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2861

Reliability analysis plays a very important role for assessing the performance and making maintenance plans of engine systems. This research presents a comparative study of the predictive performances of support vector machines (SVM) , least square support vector machine (LSSVM) and neural network time series models for forecasting failures and reliability in engine systems. Further, the reliability indexes of engine systems are computed by the weibull probability paper programmed with Matlab. The results shows that the probability distribution of the forecasting outcomes is consistent to the distribution of the actual data, which all follow weibull distribution and the predictions by SVM and LSSVM can provide accurate predictions of the characteristic life. So SVM and LSSVM are both another choice of engine system reliability analysis. Moreover, the predictive precise of the method based on LSSVM is higher than that of SVM. In small samples, the prediction by LSSVM will be more popular, because its compution cost is lower and the precise can be more satisfied. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2624

In order to design the feed system of high speed Computer Numerical Control (CNC) lathe, the static and dynamic characteristics of feed system driven by linear motor in high speed CNC lathe were analyzed. The slide board was taking as the main moving part of the feed system, and the guide rail was the main support component of the linear motor feed system. The mechanical structure static stiffness of feed system is researched through the slide board statics analysis. The simulation results show that the maximum deformation of the slide board occurs in the middle of the slide board where the linear motor is placed. The linear motor feed system control model was established based on analysis of high-speed linear feed system control principle, and the linear motor feed system transfer function was established, and servo dynamic stiffness factors were analyzed. The control parameters of the servo system and actuating mechanism parameters of feed system on the effect of the linear motor servo dynamic stiffness were analyzed using MATLAB software. The simulation results show that the position loop proportional gain, speed loop proportional gain and speed loop integral response time are the biggest influence factors on servo dynamic stiffness. The displacement response is reduced under the cutting interference force step inputting, the servo dynamic stiffness is increased, the number of system oscillation is also reduced, and the system tends to be stable. Focusing on problems such as complexities existing in compressed storage structures of the current data stream Top-k closed frequent itemsets algorithm and inaccuracy in the algorithm, the paper puts forward an algorithm of MTKCFI-SW by designing compact prefix pattern trees for compression and storage of effective information in data stream sliding windows. The CFP-tree, capable of promptly capturing newly added data stream information under circumstances of any sliding window sizes, does not need to fix the sizes of sliding windows and thus improves the flexibility of this algorithm. Research in dynamic determination of mining threshold and pruning threshold also helps to improve accuracy of this algorithm by adopting an effective approach in mining Top-k closed frequent itemsets in the environment of data stream. This work show how to port μCOS-II kernel and to build the ARM cortex-m3 hardware platform. This program researches how to drive the basic external devices. This paper gives a detailed discussion that the driver programs of the underlying hardware is how to be expanded into the uC/OS_II to process the tasks from the platform. The applications can make the STM32 processor work normally by calling the functions of transplanted uC / OS_II. The system is an actual embedded real-time multi-task operating system. The speed of processing multi-tasks is faster than conventional micro-controller’s. Because this system can run the highest priority task without return to the while loop. At last, this paper gives the structure of the main framework, the code of the tasks. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2839

The current automotive metallic belt continuously variable transmission (CVT) mostly use hydraulic system to push the cone disc and achieve the speed ratio control. A new Electrical Mechanical Continuously Variable Transmission without hydraulic control (Electrical Mechanical CVT, EMCVT) studied in this paper, uses the rolling screw mechanism to press cone disc, achieves speed regulation through the electronic control mechanism, and abandons the energy-intensive hydraulic system. In this paper, based on the analysis of mechanical configuration, the EMCVT's transmission system and its speed regulation process, speed ratio control characteristic and the clamping force control feature are studied and modeled. Besides, the Control strategy of the transmission system driven by motor is built, so as to provide an important theoretical basis for the further building of EMVCT's control system and the selection and implementation of Control strategy.
