Abstract

Aiming at the deficiencies of the traditional multi-axis control solution such as complex networked structure, poor clustered-control feature and unsatisfactory engineering practicability, the paper firstly optimized the existing solution in networked fieldbus, controller model, engineering reliability and maintainability. Then it proposed a novel solution combined high speed real-time EtherCAT (Ethernet for control Automation Technology) fieldbus with soft logic controller. The new solution took advantage of extraordinary real-time performance of EtherCAT and made good use of powerful clustered-control architecture of soft logic controller. Thus the new solution is concise and effective to solve the Large-scale networked controlling problem of 1100 distributed motors. Compared with the traditional schemes, the engineering practice shows that the novel solution has the advantage of perfect real-time performance, powerful clustered-control capability, flexible and variable networked structure, excellent engineering practicability. The novel solution is worth using for reference in solve similar large-scale networked controlling problems. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3271

Abstract

The wavelet transform theory is used to motor fault diagnosis in this paper, considering its characteristics of multi-resolution and stronger feature extraction ability than Fourier. The paper emphasizes de-noising and eliminating the singular value point of the wavelet transform in the non-stationary signal. And it makes a detailed and in-depth analysis about how to detect the frequency components of weak signal by using equivalent power spectrum of reconstruction signal, which is acquired by using the wavelet transform. Through the comparison analysis of the simulation signal and motor vibration signal’s experimental data, the corresponding energy of original signal’s equivalent power spectrum and reconstructing signal’s equivalent power spectrum are compared to determine the fault frequency, so as to accurately find out the motor fault. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3288

Abstract

To resolve the problems of complicated cabling and costly wired network in the current system, we designed a wireless greenhouse monitoring system based on ZigBee and GSM technology.  The system consists of two parts: a wireless sensor network and remote control terminal. According to parameters distribution in the monitoring regional, a wireless transmission network was formed, all of the node in the network using solar power. In the remote control terminal, the study developed a simplified expert decision system, in which the part of greenhouse control decision adopts the fuzzy decoupling control algorithm to realize the temperature and humidity decoupling control and increase the accuracy of decision-making.According to the experimental test, the monitoring system can run well under the conditions in northern China greenhouses. It can realize real-time, accurate monitoring and collecting of parameters data in the greenhouse environment; the remote control terminal can give effective decision management solutions. Our future work will mainly be solar photovoltaic panel servo system and image transmission. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3305

Abstract

We apply neural networks to locate initial sources of disturbances in network systems during coordinating them by a gradient coordination technique based on the earlier proposed necessary and sufficient coordinability conditions for locally organized hierarchies of dynamic systems. Thus we restrict spread of disturbances and save resources spent for maintaining of the system. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.2903

Abstract

Duo to the effect of receiving antenna, there is a certain deviation between the transient electromagnetic signal and the observation signal outputted from receiving antenna, leading to large blind areas in the shallow exploration of TEM. In order to improve the distortion of the outputted signal, the algorithm of deconvolution based on incremental wiener filter is proposed to recovery the signal in this paper. The influence of receiving antenna to transient electromagnetic signal is eliminated, and the optimum estimated is obtained after the algorithm is applied to realize the deconvolution of observation signal. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that: compared with traditional damping matching method, the recovery signal by the algorithm has a better approximation to the theoretical signal, a higher resolution in shallow exploration, and the damping state of antenna has no influence on the recovery signal. It is of importance for improving transient electromagnetic shallow exploration. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3249

Abstract

Sampling rate of current signal acquisition systems are singular. Aiming at this shortcoming, a method of multi-channel data acquisition(DAQ) with adjustable sampling rate is presented. The method realizes the cut-off frequency of anti-aliasing filter controlled by program with the help of switched-capacitor; by independently pulsing sampling signal of different ADCs, 16-channel sampling rate are adjustable within the range 50ksps, 25ksps, 10ksps, 5ksps, 1ksps. Theoretical analysis and experimental verification pointing at the proposed method are implemented: theoretical analysis shows that parameters of the filter meet the design requirements; experimental results show that cut-off frequency of the anti-aliasing filter matches variable sampling rate very well; choosing appropriate sampling rate according to the characteristics of the measured signal not only can well restore the measured signal, but also prevents system resources from waste. This method can meet needs of testing various signals with different frequency at the same time. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3283

Abstract

Metal magnetic memory technology was an important method for detecting the steel-cord conveyor belt early fault, characteristics of magnetic memory signal extraction is critical for judging of the conveyor belt failure. Generally using of magnetic memory signal maximum gradient value can quickly judge the stress concentration zone, but the magnetic memory signal is susceptible to effected by environmental and noise; In view of the weak and non-stationary characteristics of magnetic memory signal, this paper has proposed the singularity detection method based on wavelet transform modulus maximum for metal magnetic memory signal, the method could exactly judged the stress concentration zone of joints and located the fault points of the steel-cord belt, the characteristic gradient of magnetic memory signal and the Lipschitz exponent were extracted. The result of simulation indicated the technology was effectively for judging the stress concentration zone and fault point. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.2866
