Abstract

In the fields of transient electromagnetic (TEM) geophysical exploration, it is necessary to create a bipolar pulse current source with decline edge of high linearity, short turn-off time and high stability. In order to improve detection equipment’s practicality, it’s urgently needed to miniaturize and improve the reliability of the detection equipment. In this paper, a clamp and prompt drop bipolar pulse current circuit based on Flyback topology is represented, which can accelerate the decline of load current by clamping the coil load with fixed high voltage in the period of current declining. Also, because of this circuit’s low power consumption and significantly improvement of the transmitter’s energy utilization, chassis’s cooling equipment can be greatly reduced and it’s easier to miniaturize the transmitter. To start with, the principle of this circuit is represented. Then, the method is given to select the optimal values of circuit’s components. Finally, the results of simulation proves the proposed circuit meeting the requirements much better than those reported, with shorter turn-off time, higher linearity, less energy consumption. In general, this circuit has been successfully applied to a new type of detection equipment. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3250

Abstract

For the neutral point not grounded characteristics of underground power supply system in coal mine, this paper studied common mode equivalent circuit of underground PWM inverter, and extracted parasitic parameters of interference propagation path. The author established a common mode and differential mode model of underground inverter. Taking into account the rise time of PWM, the simulation results of conducted interference by Matlab software is compared with measurement spectrum on the AC side and motor side of converter, the difference is consistent showing that the proposed method has some validity. After Comparison of calculation results by Matlab simulation ,it can be concluded that ungrounded neutral of transformer could redue common mode current in PWM system, but not very effective, the most efficient way is to increase grounding  impedance of  inverter and motor. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3267

Abstract

The Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) is an important management problem in the field of physical distribution and logistics. Good vehicle routing can not only increase the profit of logistics but also make logistics management more scientific. The Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) constrained by the capacity of a vehicle is the extension of VRP. Our research applies a two-phase algorithm to address CVRP. It takes the advantages of Simulated Annealing (SA) and ant colony optimization for solving the capacitated vehicle routing problem. In the first phase of proposed algorithm, simulated annealing provides a good initial solution for ant colony optimization. In the second phase, Iterative Local Search (ILS) method is employed to seeking the close-to-optimal solution in local scope based on the capacity of the vehicle. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to original ant colony optimization and simulated annealing separately reported on partial benchmark problems. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3284

Abstract

Because the traditional BP neural network slow convergence speed, easily falling in local minimum and the learning process will appear oscillation phenomena. This paper introduces a tolerance analog circuit hard fault and soft fault diagnosis method based on adaptive learning rate and the additional momentum algorithm BP neural network. Firstly, tolerance analog circuit is simulated by OrCAD / Pspice circuit simulation software, accurately extracts fault waveform data by matlab program automatically. Secondly, using the adaptive learning rate and momentum BP algorithm to train neural network, and then applies it to analog circuit hard fault and soft fault diagnosis. With shorter training time, high precision and global convergence effectively reduces the misjudgment, missing, it can improve the accuracy of fault diagnosis and fast. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3301

Abstract

In this study, the fine structures of lightning electromagnetic pulse associated with 19 preliminary breakdown pulses, 37 stepped leaders, 8 dart leaders, 73 first and 52 subsequent return strokes were analyzed by using Laplace wavelet. The main characteristics of field waveforms such as, the correlation coefficient, the time of arrival and the dominant frequency of the initial peak field, the energy and the frequency of the power spectrum peak are presented. The instantaneous initial peak field pulse can be precisely located by the value of the correlation coefficient. The dominant frequencies of the initial peak field of PB pulses and leaders range from 100 kHz to 1 MHz, and that of the first and subsequent return strokes below 100 and 50 kHz, respectively. The statistical results show that the Laplace wavelet is an effective tool and can be used to determine time and frequency of the lightning events with greater accuracy. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.2867

Abstract

In order to make full use of detection information, improve the anti-interference ability of the system, solve the problem of target recognition in complex environment of multi-sensor correlation detection, this paper puts forward a information fusion method between data association and D-S evidential reasoning . It discussed the condition and the method of data association, on the basis of related information extraction, the assignment probability of multi-source sensors was revised, it also established the D-S evidential reasoning algorithm for target recognition based on data association.Through the establishment of model simulation, proved that the information fusion method between data association and D-S evidential reasoning evidence reasoning has higher reliability and recognition ability than the traditional evidential reasoning method , the results verify the correctness and effectiveness of this method. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3245

Abstract

Because of the serious non-linearity and coupling among state variables caused by the complex energy conversion process in ultrasonic motor, the motion control strategy of ultrasonic motor still need to be studied in detail to obtain better performance. As a kind of special control method, the low-frequency PWM control strategy can make the on-line optimum control easier, and may be an effective means to realize high performance motion control using ultrasonic motor. But this kind of strategy has not been studied in detail until now. This paper analyzes the difference among three low-frequency PWM control methods in details, works out the principle of selection among these methods. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3262

Multi-core technology is the key technology of mobile cloud computing, with the boom development of cloud technology, the authors focus on the problem of how to make the target code computed by mobile cloud terminal multi-core compiler to use cloud multi-core system construction, to ensure synchronization of data cross-validation compilation, and propose the concept of end mobile cloud entity indirect synchronization and direct synchronization; use wave ormation energy conversion, give our a method to calculate indirect synchronization value and direct synchronization value according to the cross experience and cross time of compilation entity; construct function relative level algorithm with Hellinger distance,  and give an algorithm method of comprehensive synchronization value. Through experiment statistics and analysis, take threshold limit value as the average, self-synchronization value as deviation, the update function of indirect synchronization value is constructed; an inter-domain multi-core synchronization flow chart is given; then inter-domain compilation data synchronization update experiment is carried out with more than 3000 end mobile cloud multi-core compilation environment. Through the analysis of data compilation operation process and results, the synchronization algorithm is proved to be reasonable and effective. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.3279

Abstract

Examination is undoubtedly one of good means to evaluate what and how much the examinees have mastered. Effective evaluation of the quality of curriculum examination will not only contribute to scientifically testing the students’ mastery of the knowledge but also help instruct the teachers to set scientific tests. This paper establishes the evaluation indexes of curriculum quality, calculates the weight of them, and gives effective evaluation of the quality of course examination by using the fuzzy AHP comprehensive evaluation, which has practical values in improving the efficiency of teaching evaluation.
