Abstract

In the complex operation environment of high-speed trains, the comprehensive evaluation index systems with high scientificity and measurability have been established after the all-round analysis of various effects on comfort for high-speed train. Meanwhile, a comprehensive evaluation method on comfort for high-speed train has been built by the rough set theory and multidimensional coefficient theory. The real examples have shown that the evaluating process is scientific, intuitive and convenient. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4363

Abstract

Big data and cloud computing is the development trend of the global information technology exciting and challenges every day now have a large amount of data and information generated, it provides an opportunity for big data analysis. Cloud computing is the essence of all computing social resources together, to realize automatic management, make all kinds of service providers and users don't need to worry about details, to focus more on their own business, it is conducive to innovation and lower costs. E-port will be all kinds of import and export business enterprise data are centralized to the public data center, If will be use of in cloud big data and computing function to analysis the information, not just stop at passive understanding of import and export trade, can also be planning, guiding, developing more efficient foreign trade and industry development planning. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4427

Abstract

A new fast handover algorithm for LTE high-speed rail networks is proposed in this paper. In railway environment, the motion direction and the GPS information of the train can be obtained at any time. Moreover, the neighbor cell that the UE will go through can be precognitive. The above information are utilized to bring forward a fast handover scheme in this paper, which can give a set of alternative reference points appropriate to trigger handover procedure instead of the measured information in A3 event based scheme. The proposed algorithm can evidently reduce time latency and accordingly shorten the necessary overlapping area of handover procedure, and the simulation results show that it has better performance than typical A3 event based handover algorithm in high-speed rail environment. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4498

Abstract

Contrast is an important factor affecting the image quality. In order to overcome the problems of local band-limited contrast, a novel image contrast assessment method based on the property of HVS is proposed. Firstly, the image by low-pass filter is performed fast wavelet decomposition. Secondly, all levels of band-pass filtered image and its corresponding low-pass filtered image are obtained by processing wavelet coefficients. Thirdly, local band-limited contrast is calculated, and the local band-limited contrast entropy is calculated according to the definition of entropy, Finally, the contrast entropy of image is obtained by averaging the local band-limited contrast entropy weighed using CSF coefficient. The experiment results show that the best contrast image can be accurately identified in the sequence images obtained by adjusting the exposure time and stretching gray respectively, the assessment results accord with human visual characteristics and make up the lack of local band-limited contrast. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.3719

Abstract

In the Logistics Distribution System, in order to enhance the availability of massive data table, simplify the maintenance operations of data table, balance disk I/O and improve query performance, this system uses the range partitioning technology, interval partitioning technology, reference partitioning technology and list partitioning technology supported by Oracle 11g. Compared to retrieve the non-partitioned table and the partition table has been used time, execution plan and statistical information. Through analysis and comparison examples show that mass data table using partitioning technologies, can improve the SQL retrieval performance, and reduce execution costs. Therefore, the contribution of table partitioning technology on massive data tables is to improve the manageability and availability of data tables, and optimizing SQL retrieval performance. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4455

Abstract

Owing to the complexity and flexibility in heterogeneous multiprocessor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) architecture, parallel programming has become a tough and urgent problem to solve. Model-based development methodology improves the software production efficiency and the reliability. Some model development tools such as Simulink and Rhapsody are widely applied in the development of embedded applications. But they do not satisfy the characteristics of embedded heterogeneous multi-core software. Thus developing a general modeling environment for model-based software design is necessary and meaningful. This paper designed and implemented a graphical modeling platform MVx-modeling by using the object-oriented programming technology and Visual C#.NET development language. Practical application shows MVx-modeling platform easy-to-use and efficient. It speeds embedded application development and lowers software costs for heterogeneous MPSoC. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4468

Abstract

Through the research of the digital modulation signals, we find that the signal would produce a series of spectrum lines after a specific nonlinear transformation. Therefore, this characteristic has a certain potential in the signal modulation recognition. In this paper, first, we analyze the spectrum lines mechanism of modulation signals (4PAM、BPSK、QPSK、8PSK、2FSK、4FSK), then, we use AR model to extract the spectrum lines characteristics of modulation signals to identify different signals. In the end of the paper, the above-mentioned six signals are simulated in the MATLAB environment. Simulation results show that the recognition of the modulation signals through this method has good stability in non-ideal communication environment. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4156

Abstract

Generalized Regression Neural Network (GRNN) is usually applied to the Function approximation. This paper, based on the principle of GRNN, presents a method for the predictive model of nonlinear complex system. The presented algorithm is applied to the learning and predicting process for the system modeling. The simulations show the described method has good effects on predicting the dynamic process of the nonlinear model, and could be applied on the predictive control for nonlinear systems satisfactorily. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4560

Abstract

With development of the computer technology, the large-scale calculation problems are often appeared in the network, it needs a lot of system resources and support of hardware, it often bring troubles in engineering optimization, so it needs apply the method such as the group's global optimization method and its improved algorithm to obtain reliable results in the computer system. In the study, it proposes a kind of particle swarm optimization based on parallel annealing parallel clustering algorithm, it is a new global optimization algorithm and it is especially suitable for continuous variable problem. In the engineering field, it can be used in large-scale computational problems, it is based on the method of group, and has parallelism abilty. In the parallel particle swarm optimization algorithm, the particle swarm can reduce the consumption of calculation time. The experimental results show that the Multipoint interface (MPI) communication used in annealing parallel particle swarm optimization algorithm not only can reduce the computing time of particle swarm, but also improve the clustering quality, stronger effectiveness algorithm is verfied. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.3973
