Abstract

Aiming at the problems of multidimensional comfort for high-speed train, on the base of systematic analysis of mutual effects among evaluation indexes, the comprehensive evaluation methods of multidimensional comfort for high-speed train based on Fuzzy-ANP have been established by fuzzy theories and network hierarchy analysis. The weight of calibrated evaluation indexes can be calculated by the hierarchy structure and judgment matrix of evaluation indexes. Meanwhile, the quantitative value of comfort indexes can be determined according to the effect on the comfort for high-speed train. The fuzzy evaluation matrix can be established and the evaluation value of comfort for high-speed train can be achieved to realize the calibration of comfort level. Though the example analysis, the effectiveness of the methods can be further proved and the strong theory support can be provided for the comfort evaluation for high-speed train. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.5121

Abstract

This paper develops a Lyapunov approach to control design for grid connected inverter. The control objective is to track a reference current which is proportional to the fundamental harmonic of the grid voltage. By using the internal model principle, the grid voltage and the reference current are described as the outputs of an autonomous linear oscillatory system. A state space description for the whole system is obtained by combining the state of the inverter circuit and that of the oscillatory system for the grid voltage. Based on the state space description, a Lyapunov approach is developed to design a state-feedback controller for tracking a reference current with minimal tracking error. The Lyapunov approach ensures internal stability and makes efficient use of the structural information, such as the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the grid voltage, and the magnitude/phase of the reference current. The effectiveness of the Lyapunov approach is validated via SimPower simulation. A real circuit is built using microcontroller ezDSP28335, the output current obtained is in phase with the grid voltage and has small THD, as we expected. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.5362

Abstract

The networking and data transmission mode of the field mobile seismic station involves such matters as richness, real-time and effectiveness of seismic data. In this paper, we propose a networking and data transmission mode with CAN bus and embedded technology. In light of the effectiveness, distance, cost and construction relating to data transmission in the field environment, CAN bus was utilized to connect the scattered seismic collection nodes, and the embedded microprocessor ARM was used to manage collection nodes within a certain scope. In addition, both the multiple task operating system Linux and application framework Qt were employed to construct a seismic network local management system, which significantly simplified the management task of mobile station. Such networking and data transmission mode shows such features as lower cost, easy construction, and higher reliability and instantaneity, also enables the possibility of constructing a mobile collection station with larger scale. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.4916

Abstract

This paper explores a configuration for boost half bridge DC-DC converters, connected in parallel at the input and series at the output, such that the converters share the input current and load voltage equally. A stable control scheme has been developed to achieve this objective. In order to verify the effectiveness and stability of control scheme, input-parallel output-series (IPOS) connected boost half bridge (BHB) DC-DC Converter has been simulated for the different load conditions such as for fixed load, half load and continuously varying load. The results are found to be satisfactory at each load condition and validate the proposed converter structure. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.4188

Abstract

This paper puts forward a method of detecting material and quantity of the cloth in washing machine based on detection motor back EMF, not only can obtain the pulse number of reporting the information quality and quantity of the cloth, but also can collect information of pulse width, the pulse cycle , help to improve the detection accuracy of the material and quantity of the cloth. On this basis, This article also gives a specific control rules of the fuzzy control of automatic washing machine , With this fuzzy control rule table, off-line Fuzzy control response can be obtained. Finally enquiry form  used to Program of assembly language, determined material and quantity and dirty degree of the cloth, to achieve the best effect of clothes washing by selecting water level, flow intensity, put the amount of detergent and washing time DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.5098

Abstract

In this study, the theory of technology analysis and decomposition of the 3-D (three dimensional) visualization of GIS (Geographic Information System) are analyzed, it divides the 3-D visualization of GIS into virtual reality technology, and it presents situation and development trend of 3-D visualization of GIS. It studies the urban model of 3-D data acquisition and processing, the classification of urban 3-D space information data and summarization of the characteristics of urban 3-D spatial data are made, and the three dimensional terrain data, building plane and building elevation data access, building surface texture are also analyzed. The high resolution satellite remote sensing data processing technology and aviation remote sensing data processing technology is studied, and the data acquisition and processing technology of airborne 3-D imager also are introduced This paper has solved the visualization of 3-D GIS data model and visual problem in the construction of the 3-D terrain and expression of choice of buildings, and it is to find suitable modeling route, and in order to provides a reference basis in realization of 3-D visualization of GIS. Visualization of 3-D model of the theory and method are studied in the urban construction, according to the 3D visualization in GIS and it proposed the two kinds of 3-D visualization model of GIS technology. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.4110

Abstract

For the limitation of traditional information fusion technology in the mine gas safety class predicition, an intelligent algorithm is proposed in which Genetic Algorithms is adopted to optimize the parameters of the least squares support vector machine and establishes a multi-sensor information fusion model GA-LSSVM which overcomes the subjectivity and blindness on parameters selection, and thus improves its classification accuracy and convergence speed. Experimental results show that compared to the least squares support vector machine model not been optimized and the least squares support vector machine model optimized by the grid searching algorithm, GA-LSSVM model can be a good solution on the issue of the high-dimensional, nonlinear and uncertainty of the small sample in coal mine underground environment level evaluation. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.4364

Abstract

An iris recognition system uses the iris to distinguish the identity of a person using the rich iris texture feature. To effectively remove noise and precisely segment the stable iris region is a crucial stage prior to recognition. Most noises on iris images are caused by occlusion of eyelids or eyelashes in certain areas. In this paper, we propose an iris recognition system which precisely locates and segments iris regions. We extract the iris feature from a relatively reliable portion of the iris region using a DoG filter. Experimental results show that the proposed iris recognition system has satisfactory results in terms of time efficiency and recognition rate. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.4951
