Abstract

Tuning of controllers for multivariable process is a difficult task because of interaction involved among the variables. In this paper, a simple tuning strategy is used for design of a multi-loop PI controller to achieve desired frequency response for interactive multivariable processes. To handle the loop interaction, a pairing of controlled variable and manipulted variable is determined based on the integrity obtained from effective relative gain (ERG) and Niederlinski’s Index (NI).Then the Equivalent transfer function of model is approximated by the use of relative frequency array (RFA), Relative Gain Array (RGA). Finally a Decentralized PI controller is designed for suggested pair of variables to achieve desired gain, phase margins. The performance is verified on the industrial multivariable processe models to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results clearly reveal that, it gives better performance for set point changes and disturbance rejection. Simulation results are included to validate the robustness of the presented algorithm.

Abstract

LEACH is a traditional clustering routing protocol in wireless sensor network. When selecting the cluster head, LEACH does not consider sensor nodes’ energy and position information. It leads to uneven the distribution of cluster heads and uneven energy consumption of sensor nodes. Clustering routing protocols which are based on particle swarm optimization have been proposed to improve the performance of clustering routing protocols. This paper introduces and classifies the clustering routing protocols which are based on PSO and points the future direction.

Abstract

Measurement of the information system (IS) project success has become the interesting topic for researchers and practitioners since the Standish Group published their findings in 1994.  Project success theory is the main concept in this topic, but this theory is still an ambiguous concept and lack in agreement among researchers and practitioners. They are also still tend to focus on single or partial dimension. Therefore, they did not get a clear picture of the system measurements. This study developed an alternative model of the project success measurement based on input-process-output (IPO) model. The development was conducted using comparison, adoption, adaptation, and combination the previous theories and models: Davis's IPO model, the project success theories, Delone and McLean' model, and the project classificatory framework. As indicated in most studies that most of models are developed using the previous theories and models rather than on empirical proofs. The result is a IS project success model consisting of 9 variables and 36 relationships among the variables. Although, the model is only a conceptual model, but it was developed completely and coherently considering three main aspects of project success measurement, namely: processional and causal models, project success theories, and the influence concept of project environment.

Abstract

According to relevant standards and specifications at home and abroad, the acceptance tests that must be performed to validate whether the grid-connection/splitting process and grid-connection operation of micro-grid meet the relevant technical requirements have been studied in this paper. Combining the technical requirements of the micro-grid, this paper gives the conditions, measuring instruments, general process and acceptance standards of the acceptance tests, and focuses on the designing of acceptance tests of key operation, operation parameters and protection functions of the micro-grid, such as grid-connection/splitting process, power quality during the grid-connection operation and reverse power and short-circuit protection and so on. The relevant test methods, specific steps and acceptance standards are proposed. This paper can provide a good foundation and basis for designing the acceptance tests specification of micro-grid.

Abstract

Accurate and reliable assessment of power equipment operation state is the premise and basis for maintenance of power system state. This article builds the transformer body state assessment model based on fuzzy and evidence theories taking 500kV oil-immersed transformer as the object of research. The representative parameters in preventive test are selected as state assessment indicators by making reference to the factory values and threshold-crossing values of which the indicator normalization is carried out to determine the degrees of membership of each indicator relative to different state assessment levels using fuzzy evaluation method. These indicators are divided into three sub-evidence bodies, i.e. gas dissolved in oil, oilation test and electrical test, and information combination of these three sub-evidence bodies is carried out using evidence theory to further assess the operation state of transformer body. The effectiveness of this assessment model applied in state assessment of transformer body is verified by example analysis of the data of a 500kV transformer. This assessment model has clear ideas and doesn’t need too much historical data, it provides a new method for transformer state assessment.

Abstract

In this paper the unfavorable body vibration of vehicles is compensated using direct feedback signals in an optimized manner. The parameter - optimization problem was gained through the second method of Liapunov. Moving vehicles bear unfavorable body vibration, especially in bumpy roads. Therefore, active control of this vibration seems attractive. Vertical vibration of the vehicle affects the driver's performance. In this paper an eight degrees of freedom dynamic vibration model of a general vehicle are developed through the designation of a closed-loop control system. A control system has been designed with efficient response which computes the feedback gains using the second method of Liapunov and it has been proven that appropriate comparison is obtained with this controller.

Abstract

In this article, a study of anti-interference tracking method of maneuvering target for nonlinear structure random jump systems (SRJSs) with random interference was investigated. Inview of the random interference problem of the tracking system, the nonlinear Gaussian approximation filtering (NGAF) was applied to achieve anti-interference tracking of maneuvering target in observation noises environment with the pip interference signal. Inview of the defects of the NGAF algorithm, bootstrap filtering (BSF) algorithm of SRJSs was applied to avoid the loss of information caused by neglecting the higher-order terms. A meaningful example of radar/IR dual-mode compound seeker is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the authors’methods, the performances of extended Kalman filtering (EKF), NGAF and BSF in terms of stability, accuracy and computational complexity were compared. The purpose of this paper was to demonstrate the effectiveness of applying the NGAF and BSF on anti-interference target tracking problems of SRJSs, which in the past the factors of randomness and structure uncertainties characteristics had been rarely considered for the studies of maneuvering target tracking, mostly the structures and the parameters of the tracking system were invariant and certainty, and had typically been solved by Kalman or extended Kalman filters.

Abstract

Ant colony algorithm is a new type of biomimetic evolutionary algorithm, which has some outstanding characteristics like good robustness, parallelism and positive feedback. It has been widely used in many fields but it still has some weaknesses, such as slow-convergence and easily-falling into local extreme value. Therefore we propose a new algorithm which combines the quantum evolutionary algorithm and ant colony algorithm together based on these shortcomings, this new type of algorithm considers the two quantum bit probability amplitudes as ants’ current location information. The searching space will be doubled when ants’ numbers remain the same. Both introducing the pixel point gradient into quantum revolving door, and dynamically changing rotation angle are to achieve local-searching. Searching by chaotic quanta near candidates with optimal solution is to improve the global optimization. Meanwhile, adopting a NAND gate is to achieve mutating operation, and to avoid algorithm’s precocity. Compared with the traditional algorithm, the new algorithm has a better population diversity and an outstanding ability to overcome the precocity and stagnation in the optimization process. It has been proved that this improved algorithm is effectively to the problems like slow-convergence and easily-falling into local extreme value, and vividly increase the speed and accuracy of the image segmentation.

Abstract

A knowledge base is redundant if it contains parts that can be inferred from the rest of it. In this paper, with no district bound, we study the reduction theory and algorithm on proposition logic set. The propositions of a given proposition set fall into three categories: necessary proposition, useful proposition, and useless proposition. A reduction of a given set is composed of all the necessary propositions and some useful propositions. At the beginning we introduce induced formal context of proposition set, and then propose the method of reduction on proposition set based on correlation analysis.

Abstract

This paper described how to use Oracle partitioning to achieve classified storage of data from structured electronic medical records. Because structured electronic medical records stored massive data, the performance, security and stability of database had been paid more and more attentions. In this paper, table with partition in structured electronic medical records system was presented to solve these problems. In addition, testing of comparing the performance of table with and without partition had been taken to prove it was much faster to retrieve partitioned tables with massive data than not partitioned tables.
