This manuscript manages F-L-C of “two-switch& three-switch-interleaved-forward- -converters” with DC-engine-load”. Numerous modern applications require DC-power. This forward-converter convert's unregulated DC-capacity to controlled DC-control. It contains high recurrence transformer which is additionally called ‘isolation-transformer’. This gives disconnection among load& fundamental-circuit. The AC- control is amended utilizing half-wave-rectifier. The swell in the yield is separated utilizing pi- filter. FLC is intended for two-switch and three-switch forward-converter-systems. The simulation is completed by utilizing MATLAB-simulink. The controller execution is considered for different estimations of load-torque for both two-switch& three-switch forward-converter -frameworks.

Natural disaster is an unpredictable event which can cause service communication disruption. The disruption of service communication can be divided into three cases which are power outage, broken backhaul and physical destruction by disaster. This paper focuses on power outage case. Although each base stations equipped with backup batteries, it only last for several hours. After natural disaster hit certain areas, traffic is highly congested due to panic and rescue operation of lifesaving. This scenario will drain the backup batteries quickly. In order to limit the UEs’ connection to the affected base station, this research proposed to adjust Received Signal Strength (RSS) based on parameter called as a distance fraction coefficient, α so that the affected coverage area is reduced when in disaster area situation. The parameter is added in the path loss equation and later in the RSS equation. The numerical results show the RSS improved whereby α=0.2 gives the optimal value and therefore limit the incoming traffic to the affected base station.

This paper presents the performance of a three-phase current source inverter (CSI) in island mode voltage-controlled operation. Simple converter structure, low switching count and inherent boosting capability among the features offered by CSI. However, less investigation has been done with regards to the performance of CSI especially on its control system for island and grid-connected photovoltaic system. Thus, this study aims to investigate the suitability of proportional-integral (PI) and proportional-resonant (PR) control including their dynamic equations and state-space modeling. The results show that both controllers able to perform satisfactory in achieving zero steady-state error and balanced sinusoidal output voltage and current. PI control is superior in fast response time and excellent harmonic rejection than inverter using PR control PR control on the other hand, able to give more robust performance during imbalance occur than PI control due to individual control of the phases. This study may becomes one of the references with regard to current source inverter for early career researchers. as All results presented in this paper are verified with varying operational parameters in MATLAB/ SIMULINK platform.

This research presented a preliminary study on designing a rehabilitation game for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It has been proved that children with Autism are not interested in attending traditional rehabilitation treatments. Existing researches have shown that games and their usage in the rehabilitation area are growing fast. However, there is less research used to design a rehabilitation game ensuring that the proposed design criteria are based on the preference and requirements of users in order to maximize the engagement rate of the game. In this research, one-month observation sessions were conducted with five autistic participants with no design expertise in order to collect essential design considerations for a rehabilitation game. This paper proposed design considerations, which can be helpful to design a rehabilitation game to promote user engagement by addressing game mechanics and behavioral techniques according to the result of our observations.

The most essential phase in regression testing is Test Case Prioritization (TCP), with its primary objective to increase the fault detection rate at different stages during testing. Prior to achieving the objective, existing evidence of techniques in TCP must be synthesized and analyzed. At present, fault detection for TCP based on object-oriented features only consider statement, module, and class level. The important features of object-oriented (OO) programming like inheritance and polymorphism have not been fully explored for fault detection in TCP. Such OO concepts are important for test case selection and in turn for ranking the test cases (prioritization). This paper reviews various test case prioritization techniques specific to OO systems. This review is hoped to highlight the importance and usage of TCP in relation to object-oriented software development lifecycle.

The study of steganography focuses on strengthening the security in protecting content message by hiding the true intention behind the texts. However, existing linguistic steganography approach especially in synonym-based substitution is prone to attack. In this paper, a new substitution-based approach for linguistic steganography is proposed using antonyms. The antonym-based stego-text generation algorithm is implemented in a tool called the Antonym Substitution-based (ASb). Evaluation of ASb was carried out via verification and validation. The results showed highly favorable performance of this approach.

Mathematical models from recent research are mostly nonlinear equations in nature. Numerical solutions to such systems are widely needed and applied in those areas of mathematics. Although, in recent years, this field received serious attentions and new approach were discovered, but yet the efficiency of the previous versions suffers setback. This article gives a new hybrid conjugate gradient parameter, the method is derivative-free and analyzed with an effective inexact line search in a given conditions. Theoretical proofs show that the proposed method retains the sufficient descent and global convergence properties of the original CG methods. The proposed method is tested on a set of test functions, then compared to the two previous classical CG-parameter that resulted the given method, and its performance is given based on number of iterations and CPU time. The numerical results show that the new proposed method is efficient and effective amongst all the methods tested. The graphical representation of the result justify our findings. The computational result indicates that the new hybrid conjugate gradient parameter is suitable and capable for solving symmetric systems of nonlinear equations.

This paper proposes Firefly Algorithm (FA) with fuzzy approach for solving combined economic-emission load dispatch (CEELD) problem in power generation. The main objective of the CEELD problem is to determine the optimal cost and emission level of power generation and fulfill the load demand and operational constraints. The CEELD problem used weighted sum method to combine two objective functions (cost and emission) into single objective. Then, the Fuzzy-based mechanism approach is integrated in FA to find the best compromise solution for both conflicting cost and emission level. The FA has been tested on IEEE 118-bus 14-unit test system for minimization both cost of power generation and emission level. The performance of FA for solving CEELD problem has been investigated in terms of optimal solution, convergence characteristics and Pareto front solution. From the comparison of the CEELD solutions, it found that FA can provide significant cost and emission reduction compared to other methods. Thus, it can be used as alternative approach for solving any optimization problems.

This paper presents a novel model to evaluate the power output of a building integrated photovoltaic system (BIPVS) operating in the Andean Range. The Optimal Power Flow (OPF) model optimizes the power output of the BIPVS within an electrical system without violating operational limits. The model is validated with the experimental performance of a 6 kW BIPVS installed in Bogota, Colombia. The meteorological data affect the power flow. The model is evaluated under sunny and rainy days to characterize the photovoltaic array performance. The results showed that the AC PV-energy generation was 5,904 kWh/year for 2017 and that there is a correlation factor of 99.87% between the experimental power flow and the proposed model.

This paper provides comprehensive review of recent formulation and solution of combined economic emission dispatch problem considering renewable energy. Generally, power dispatch plays an important role in power generation system that mainly depends on the fossil fuels. Rapid depletion of these sources cause a limitation and increase the fuel price. At the same time, the poisonous gases emit by the thermal generator causes a long term environmental pollution. An extensive researches have been conducted for last few decades by considering Renewable Energy (RE) in power generation system as an alternative source. Therefore, Combined Economic Emission Dispatch (CEED) of thermal and renewable energy resources currently formulated in power dispatch problem. The optimization methods that commonly used to solve the CEED problem are categorized as traditional method, non-conventional method and hybrid method. It can be concluded that non-conventional and hybrid method have great and superior solution for solving multiobjective economic emission dispatch problem. The recent research related to CEED with RE are summarized in terms of methods, test cases, conditions, types of RE and constraints. Thus, it can be useful references for the research in this area.
