In this research, we present and investigate the system performance analysis in terms of the outage probability (OP) and ergodic capacity (EC) of the Full-duplex (FD) relaying networks via double Rayleigh fading channel. In this system model, we propose the power splitting (PS) protocol for the vehicular communications network. Firstly, we analyze and derive the integral form of the system OP and EC. Then, the correctness of the OP and EC expressions are verified by the Monte Carlo simulation. Finally, we can see that the analytical and the simulation results are matched with each other in the connection with the main system parameter.

The article aims to predict the wind speed by two artificial neural network’s models. The first model is a multilayer perceptron (MLP) treated by back-propagation algorithm and the second one is a recurrent neuron network type, processed by the NARX model. The two models having the same Network’s structure, which they are composed by 4 Inputs layers (Wind Speed, Pressure Temperature and Humidity), an intermediate layer defined by 20 neurons and an activation function, as well as a single output layer characterized by wind speed and a linear function. NARX shows the best results with a regression coefficient R = 0.984 et RMSE = 0.314.

This paper proposes a new multi-objective optimization design method for Hybrid Active Power Filter based on the Vortex Search algorithm. The Vortex Search algorithm belongs to the Single-Solution Based algorithm class of Metaheuristics algorithm. This design method has the advantage of fast execution time, high convergence speed and prevent local trap problems. The achieved results are multi-objective, such as minimum total harmonic distortion of the supply current and source voltage and satisfy many constraints such as system stability, resonance conditions of branches and limits of the parameters. Compared with the traditional design method, simulation results have proved that: the proposed design method is given with better results in minimizing total harmonic distortion of the supply current and source voltage.

Talking about gestures makes us return to the historical beginning of human communication, because, in fact, there is no language completely free of gestures. People cannot communicate without gestures. Any action or movement without gestures is free of real feelings and cannot express the thoughts. The purpose from any hand gestures recognition system is to recognizes the hand gesture and used it to transfer a certain meaning or for computer control or and device. Our paper introduced a low cost system to recognize the hand gesture in real-time. Generally, the system divided into five steps, one to image acquisition, second to pre-processing the image, third for detection and segmentation of hand region, four to features extraction and five to count the numbers of fingers and gestures recognition. The system has coded by Python language, PyAutoGUI library, OS Module of Python and the OpenCV library.

RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) is a developing technology that employs electromagnetic signals to send the data among reader and tags to identify categorize and track the moveable items. The objective of this paper is to mitigate the reader collision problem by scheduling the readers in RFID system. Mobile readers in the RFID network send the same frequency signal to the air to read the data from the tags. While these two signals interfere each other and Tags are unable to backscatter signal to the reader. This causes a reader collision problem. The Reader collision problem reduces the lifetime of the RFID network and generates redundant data in the RFID Network. Tag Count based Priority Scheduling algorithm is proposed, that enhances the throughput of the readers and mitigates the reader collision problem. In the cluster based RFID network, The Dragonfly algorithm performed the Cluster Head reader election and cluster construction process and then allotting the mobile readers in the cluster. This algorithm improves the energy efficiency and diminishes the reader collision problem, thereby alleviating the tag information loss and expanding the mobile RFID network life time, while compared with Priority Clustering Protocol and the Graph Coloring based TDMA algorithm.

In the last few years, all companies have been interested in the analysis of data related to Human Resources and have focused on human capital, which is considered as the major factor influencing the company’s development and all its activities at all levels of human resource policies. Data analysis (HR analytics) will significantly improve business profitability over the next years. We started with an extensive survey of different human resources problems and risks reported by HR specialists, then a comprehensive review of recent research efforts on computer science techniques proposed to solve these problems and finally focusing on suggested artificial intelligence methods. This review article will be an archive and a reference for computer scientists working on HR by summarizing the IT solutions already made in human resources for the period between 2008 and 2018. It aims to present clearly the issues that HR researchers face and for which computer scientists seek solutions. It summarizes at the same time the recent and different methods, IT approaches and tools already used by highlighting those using artificial intelligence.

Dengue has been indigenous to India in last decade. There was a major outbreak in the state of Tamil Nadu in 2017. Here, we investigate the dengue outbreak in parts of Tamil Nadu, India. Dengue case data were obtained from the hospital records in the Chennai district of Tamil Nadu. The data were analyzed using statistical approaches such as correlation and regression. The result shows that the dengue outbreak in Tamil Nadu during 2017 was due to the population, water stagnation, and sewage, whereas the human activity weren’t the cause of the dengue outbreak which caused 65 deaths. Male constitutes 54.71% whereas female accounted for 45.29% of dengue incidence in Tamil Nadu, majority deaths were children aged less than 10 years due to the outbreak of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). This investigation was evaluated using mathematical regressions, Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) regression outperformed Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression model in detecting dengue incidence. This investigation can be strengthened by implementing a surveillance system in parts of Tamil Nadu before an outbreak.

A compact and simple structure antenna for wearable application at 2.4 GHz is presented and studied. The felt fabric material is used in this paper due to its suitable thickness and dielectric constant. This material provides high flexibility which can be easily worn on a body and incorporated into our daily clothes. In view of the fact that the design will work on a moving person, therefore a circularly polarized antenna is desired to optimize the off-body communication link. The Cicular Polarization (CP) is achieved by introducing truncated corners on the patch. The antenna size is 60 × 60 × 2 mm3. The Axial Ratio (AR), the Front to Back Ratio (FRB) and the realized gain are 0.96 dB, 10.5 dB, and 4.62 dB, respectively indicating a good performance of the antenna at the desired frequency. Furthermore, the antenna was investigated when operating near the body. The obtained result shows that the design has performance similar to the case of free space. This is due to the present of the full ground plane that acts as a shielding between the antenna and body. Finally, the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is carried out and showed that the antenna has a level less than the limits fixed by the FCC standard. Therefore, the antenna could be useful for wearable applications.

In this work, we will use a new control strategy based on the integration of a type-2 fuzzy reasoning optimized by wavelet networks as part of a navigation system of a mobile robot. The proposed approach is able to facilitate the navigation task in an autonomous manner, in order to determine which commands must be sent at each moment to the mobile robot. This operation must take into account convergence towards a goal with the shortest possible path in the minimum delay between the starting position and the target position. Once the goal is reached, the robot stops.

In general, research in the field of wireless sensor network (WSN) has never discussed the reliability aspect of network routing with router devices that can find new routes when damage occurs. To date, overloaded routers will be ignored without any response that gives control which can reduce the quality of network performance. Therefore, we propose research using the AODV routing, and Mesh routing algorithm to find other routes as an alternative when problems occur and using the Round Robbin based xbee algorithm on providing load balance control carried out by the router. The experiments on the performance of non-balancing networks and balancing were conducted. Both trials used quality of service (QoS) parameters as a guarantee of performance to be more effective and in line with expectations. Measurements performed by testing the parameters of packet loss, delay, throughput, and fault tolerance. The network performance in finding other alternative routes has been successfully carried out by transmitting 100 packets from the end device node to the coordinator node via the router based on distance variations from 0 to 100 meters. The recovery time required by the dead router to find another route was 10 seconds, this was related to the parameter delay, and fault tolerance. The experimental results of the non-balancing system showed an average 20 % packet loss in one transmission, meanwhile the packet loss was smaller than the previous experiment by 37%. Therefore, the WSN with balancing system was proven to be more effective that could improve QoS performance by 17%.
