Abstract

Red (SrCa)AlSiN3:Eu2+ nitride phosphor with different particle sizes were characterized based on physical and luminescent properties, then packaged into Chip-On-Board (COB) Warm White Light Emitting Diode (LED)  modules to investigate the influence of particle size on packaging parameters and optical  output of the COB LED devices. The phosphor particle sizes investigated were 10µm, 12µm and 14µm, and experimental data indicates that the emission spectrum for the red phosphor with bigger particle size is slightly red-shifted compare with the red phosphor with smaller particle size. Besides that, COB LED modules packaged with smaller red phosphor particle required slightly lesser amounts of phosphor to achieve same value of Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) range from 3500K to 3600K, while enhancing the optical output power. The average lumen output and the average efficacy of COB LED devices packaged with 10µm phosphor had an increment of 5.07% and 9.55% respectively while 12µm phosphor had an increment of 5.14% and 9.79% respectively compared to the 14µm phosphor sample.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has not been around for very long. However, since the notion of IoT introduced, most of IoT studies focused on a strategic level such as planning, architectures, standardization, and latest technologies, however, studies of risk management plan of IoT are still lacking.  IoT has been widely used to link existing medical resources and provide reliable, effective and smart healthcare services to elderly and patients with chronic illnesses.  However, a systematic process is missing when managing and anticipating the risk of IoT usage in healthcare.  For this purpose, this paper extensively explores various IoT technologies used in health care services and its security challenges. As a result, IoT Security Risk Model for Healthcare is introduced to cater a complete process of risk management based on ISO/IEC 27005:2018 standard.  It is believed that by having this model, it will emphasize on iterative IoT risk management process as it may increase the depth and detail of the assessment at each iteration.

Abstract

 The objective of this paper is to predict the secure or the insecure state of the power system network using a hybrid technique which is a combination of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and voltage stability indexes. Voltage collapse or an uncontrollable drop in voltage occurs in a system when there is a change in the condition of the system or a system is overloaded. A Transference Index (TI) which acts as a voltage stability indicator has been formulated from the equivalent two-bus network of a multi-bus power system network, which has been tested on a standard IEEE 30-bus system and the result is validated with a standard Fast Voltage Stability Index (FVSI). FACTS devices in the critical bus have been considered for the improvement of the voltage stability of the system. An ANN based supervised learning algorithm has been conferred in this paper alongside Contingency Analysis (CA) for the prediction of voltage security in an  IEEE 30 - bus power system network.

Abstract

Technique to evaluate probability of occurrence of selected contingencies of 6 Bus Roy Billinton Test System (RBTS) and IEEE 9 Bus system by Markov modelling is presented in this paper. Obtained probabilities for selected contingencies are validated by comparing with binomial distribution based probabilities. Load flow analysis and performance index based contingency ranking of total elements of 6 bus RBTS and IEEE 9 Bus systems is simulated by Power System Simulation for Engineers (PSSE) software. Novel reliability evaluation technique which unify contingency ranking with Markov modeling is proposed for RBTS and extended to IEEE 9 Bus system. Accuracy, completeness and simple to implement are salient features of proposed novel reliability evaluation method. Reliability of RBTS and IEEE 9 Bus systems can be improved by incorporating Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems (FACTS) device. Improvement in the reliability and economic revenue of RBTS and IEEE 9 Bus systems due to Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) incorporation is evaluated.

Abstract

This paper proposed an analysis model and a complex-eigenvalue-based algorithm of wet multiple disc brake (WMDB) noise. Firstly, the damping and stiffness between the brake disc and the friction plate were introduced based on the consideration of the slight rotation of the braking system and damping characteristics of brake oil. Then, the friction coupling mathematical model and the finite element model (FEM) of the braking system were established. The occurrence tendency of brake squeal was judged according to the real part (positive or negative value) of characteristic roots of the complex eigenvalue. The relative error between the numerical analysis results and the finite element analysis results was 4%, indicating that braking speed and braking pressure had little effect on brake noise. During the braking system design, under the premise that the braking performance is not affected, the friction material with the lower stiffness should be used as possible. Moreover, properly decreasing the friction coefficient between the friction linings and dual steel disc will reduce the brake noise. Therefore, the proper combination of the parameters was deduced to obtain the stable frequency response of the braking system.

Abstract

The maintain power quality is one of the major part of all kind of industry as well as power systems. Voltage sag and voltage swell the common power quality issue. The Dynamic Voltage Restorer is the common Device which is used to mitigate the above problems. In this paper provides review on various type of AC-AC converter based DVR. The use of AC-AC converter can compensate the voltage sag and swell without need of any kind of storage elements like capacitor and batteries. The absence of storage elements can reduce size and weight of the DVR. The feature various type of AC- AC converters based DVR is concentrated in this paper.

Abstract

In this paper, a frequent itemsets mining algorithm of data stream based on concept lattice and sliding window is presented. This algorithm mines frequent concepts for new inflowing basic window in batches in a sliding window and generates concept lattice Hasse diagram. With introduction into small support degreeand error factorto do the pruning operations for non-frequent concept node, each connection point in the Hasse diagram contains the information of frequent itemsets and support degree. As the generation of Hasse diagram in the new basic windows, we integrate concept lattice vertically with the generated Hasse diagram and sliding window, and ultimately output all frequent itemsets through scanning all the graph nodes of Hasse diagram graph. Abstract

In order to improve the efficiency of fuzzy association rule mining, the paper defines the redundant fuzzy association rules, and strong fuzzy association rules redundant nature. As much as possible for more information in the e-commerce environment, and in the right form is a prerequisite for personalized recommendation. Personalized recommendation technology is a core issue of e-commerce automated recommendation system. Higher complexity than ordinary association rules algorithm fuzzy association rules, the low efficiency become a bottleneck in the practical application of fuzzy association rules algorithm. The paper presents using fuzzy association rules to design E-commerce personalized recommendation system. Abstract

This research introduces the appropriate input pattern of Fuzzy Logic design for fault type classification of Single Line to Ground Fault at distribution network. The proposed design is solely using Fuzzy Logic as the research technique with input data from PSCAD simulation. PSCAD software simulate the circuit configuration for fault disturbance at the distribution network. The research technique was applied with multiples input values of voltage and current that extracted from the PSCAD simulation. This research testifies the output result by using different fault resistance values; 0.01Ω, 10Ω, 30Ω, 50Ω and 70Ω. Voltage sag and current swell of phase a, b and c that were obtained from the PSCAD simulation have been used as the input variables for Fuzzy Logic design. The acquired results that represented in average accuracy shown that voltage sag and current swell can draw a satisfying accuracy in classifying the fault type.

Abstract

Polarized magnetic system  has widely been used in  aeronautical , astronautical , military and civilian domain.  Diagrammatized analysis method has advantages of clear physics concept, direct and compendious. The diagrammatized analysis method for work points of the permanent magnet and air magnetic flux for the typical polarized systems are proposed in this paper, which include type differential and bridge magnetic system. The unite calculating expressions are sum up based on the equivalent magnetic voltage model circuit.
