Abstract

This study aims to find out how to improve the language skills of children aged 5-6 years through playing illustrated letter card media at Pelangi Tenggarong Seberang Kindergarten in the 2016/2017 learning year. This type of research uses the class action research method (CAR) carried out in two cycles. The object of this research is 20 children. Research data collection uses observation sheets while the results are analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of data analysis showed that there was an increase in pre-cycle to the first cycle of 35%. In the second cycle increased 91.11%. The conclusion in this study, that the use of pictorial letter card media can improve language skills in children aged 5-6 years in Pelangi Kindergarten.

Abstract

This evaluation study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation program for the integration of early childhood in the 1 Trustees State Kindergarten in 2017/2018. The evaluation study was chosen as a research method, using the CIPPO Model from Daniel Stufflebeam developed by Gilbbert Sax. This study uses multi techniques and instruments to collect data and analyze data using descriptive statistics and qualitative techniques. The results of the study show: (1) Component Context: TK 1 Country Pembina Samarinda has several legal documents of all implementations. Parental and community support has been shown well, so the perspective of managers who register for implementation shows that they are developing programs. (2) Input Components: student groups are relevant to age. The qualifications and number of teachers are relevant to the criteria. TK Negeri 1 Pembina Samarinda has very complete resources, but does not have natural resources. Financial reports show good results from resource financing. Planning the implementation of the program shows the relevance of the criteria. (3) Process Components: Implementation of reference for children's development milestones and BCCT concepts. There are some disabled children who cannot adapt to learning. In the evaluation refer to Permendikbud Number 137, 146, and 31 of 2014 and a milestone in the development of children. (4) Product Components: Reports on research results indicate school development and readiness. (5). Component of Results (outcome): The perspective of elementary school teachers shows that graduates of Samarinda State 1 Kindergarten Kindergarten have adapted in the learning process in grade 1 elementary school.

Abstract

The researcher conducted a classroom action research in Az-zaitun Genting Tanah pre-school to improve students’ fine motor skill through weaving. Fourteen students who age four to five years old (seven males and seven females) were involved as the research subjects. Moreover, in collecting data the researcher applied two cycles. The data was analyzed statistically in form of percentage. Having analyzed the data, there is found a significant increase on students’ fine motor skill. At the first cycle, 44% students reached the passing grade and then increased into 80% in cycle 2. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning through weaving is effective to improve students’ fine motor skill, especially in Group A at Az-zaitun Genting Tanah Pre-school.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the experiment method in improving student’s understanding on concept of weight for students aged 3 to 4. This study was conducted in Az-zaitun Genting Tanah Pre-school. The research subjects were twelve students of group B aged three to four, consisting of five males and seven females. The researcher applied classroom action research with two cycles, applying four stages; planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result shows that students’ understanding on weight concept has increased. At the first cycle, students’ understanding reached 36% and increased into 79% at the second cycle. In conclusion, the experiment method is effective in improving students’ understanding on weight concept. Therefore, it is suggested that teacher to give stimulation and practice for improving students’ understanding weight concept.

Abstract

This research is to improve the Character of Child Cooperation through playing blocks aged 4-5 years in the Pusaka Indah Karang Paci Samarinda Kindergarten 2018/2019 Learning Year which is conducted on children aged 4-5 years, totaling 16 children. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, starting with the pre-cycle, the first cycle, the second cycle each carried out as much as 2 meetings with 2 times the learning process. Data analysis techniques use qualitative description analysis, which is a research method that is describing reality or facts in accordance with the data obtained. The results of the research in each cycle can be seen as follows, This can be seen from the results of the pre-cycle average value obtained 24.47%, classified as Not Developing, in the first cycle increased an average of 33.80%, classified as Starting Developing, and at the second cycle increased again with an average of 56.73% classified as Developing as Expected. From the results of this study in each of the above cycles, it can be said that the use of beams can improve the cooperation character of children aged 4-5 years. Based on the results of the study that through playing the beam can improve the collaboration character of children aged 4-5 years in the Karang Paci Samarinda Heritage Park. With the implementation of this class it is hoped that schools, especially teachers, will use this method because the method of playing beams can improve the character of child collaboration.
