Abstract

Produksi feature televisi Kilau Macapat Permata Jawa merupakan karya feature televisi yang mengulas tentang eksistensi tembang macapat yang masih dilestarikan masyarakat jawa. Macapat adalah salah satu kebudayaan sekaligus kesenian jawa dalam bentuk tembang atau lagu. Seorang Penata kamera didorong untuk mampu menciptakan visual yang bervariasi dari setiap pengambilan gambarnya, baik dari sisi komposisi gambar dan pergerakan kamera, karena pengambilan gambar yang tidak memperhatikan komposisi dan pergerakan kamera akan mengakibatkan gambar monoton, informasi serta keindahan gambar yang ingin disampaikan tidak tercapai. Pengemasan aspek visual feature ini menerapkan variasi shot, melalui konsep teknik komposisi gambar berupa framing ( perbingkaian gambar ), illusion of depth ( kedalaman dalam dimensi gambar ) , color ( warna ) , dan subject / object sehingga apabila semua elemen ini disatukan maka akan tercipta suatu keindahan gambar. Pergerakan kamera berupa crabbing, tracking, serta follow shot. Tujuan menggunakan teknik tersebut adalah untuk menghasilkan gambar yang variatif atau tidak monoton, informatif, berkesinambungan, indah sehingga penonton dapat menikmati tayangan tersebut. Penerapan dalam karya feature tersebut, ditunjang dengan camera equipment berupa lensa fix dan lensa wide, tripod, slidercam, Hasil yang didapat dengan penerapan komposisi gambar serta pergerakan kamera pada setiap shot yang bervariasi maka paket feature tersebut menjadi informative, indah dan tidak monoton.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang memudahkan cara kerja sumber daya manusia di era digital saat ini menjadikan perubahan besar pada perangkat industri termasuk industri televisi yang mengubah teknologi peralatan penataan cahaya menggunakan prinsip kerja robot. Sebuah pengaturan penataan cahaya baik gerak dan intensitas keluaran tata cahaya yang diatur oleh mesin lewat koneksi bluetooth menggunakan perangkat komputer sehingga pengoperasian secara manual oleh manusia tidak dibutuhkan lagi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sistem pengoperasian sistem instalasi alat kontrol pergerakan dan intensitas peralatan tata cahaya studio 3 Metro TV, pada instalasi dan kendala yang biasa dihadapi. Perkembangan teknologi sistem lighting effect ini sehingga lebih praktis dan efisien. Pengetahuan sistem instalasi alat kontrol pergerakan dan intensitas peralatan tata cahaya studio 3 Metro TV merupakan satu satunya yang menggunakan pergerakan robotic di stasiun televisi Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus pada penerapan sistem instalasi alat kontrol pergerakan dan intensitas peralatan tata cahaya studio 3 Metro TV, peneliti mengobservasi, melakukan wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Kontribusi penelitian ini memberi pengetahuan dan kajian lanjutan tentang sistem instalasi alat kontrol pergerakan dan intensitas peralatan tata cahaya studio 3 Metro TV sehingga dapat diaplikasikan  secara kreatif pada program acara televisi baik program acara jurnalistik, entertainment, maupun dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

Penciptaan lampu inovasi adalah mendayagunakan sumber listrik yang terbatas agar bisa memanfaatkan energi tersebut untuk hal lainnya. Dengan hal ini, sebuah lampu dapat memberikan pencahayaan dan mendayagunakan cahaya serta energi secara maksimal. Sebagai penata cahaya, kecepatan dalam instalasi peralatan lighting dan penghematan energi listrik yang digunakan sangatlah berpengaruh pada kualitas pencahayaan. Peralatan lampu yang dapat digunakan dalam kondisi apapun menjadi nilai plus tersendiri. Dimmer indoor dan outdoor merupakan peralatan yang dilengkapi dengan berbagai pilihan sumber catu dayaseperti accumulator dan listrik 220 V. Pengembangan alat ini menggunakan referensi dari cara kerja sistem switching dan sistem back-up listrik. Tahapan penciptaan alat ini terdiri atas 2 tahap, yaitu pra produksi dan produksi. Alat yang dikembangkan masih memiliki kelemahan yaitu mengunakan kabel dan cahayanya kurang terang. Penciptaan alat ini memiliki output warna daylight dan juga tungsten.

Abstract

Teknik motion graphic diperlukan untuk memberikan kemudahan dalam proses penyampaian informasi agar mudah diterima oleh penonton. Tujuan penciptaan karya ini untuk menerapkan motion graphic pada program feature televise “Inspirasiqu”. Metode yang diterapkan untuk menciptakan Motion graphic menggunakan metode eksperimen. Dengan menerapkan teknik motion tracking pada teks opening program dan multiframe video, dan menerapkan typography yang dinamis pada title, keterangan lokasi, informasi dan logo. Hasil dari penerapan Teknik motion graphic dan motion tracking dalam pembuatan opening id’s program, ilustrasi peta, transisi perpindahan topik, keterangan nama narasumber, animasi ilustrasi, keterangan informasi dan credit title yang baik dan menarik, harus memiliki perencanaan dan konsep yang matang. Memperhatikan nilai keyframe pada achor point, scale, position dan effect camera track, agar setiap pergerakan motion graphic dan motion tracking mendapatkan hasil yang baik dan menarik. Menciptakan teks dan logo dalam menerapkan teknik typography yang baik pada program ini harus memiliki motivasi, kreatifitas, inovasi dan unsur seni dalam setiap menciptakan teks dan logo. Sehingga memiliki maksud dan tujuan agar informasi yang disampaikan dapat dipahami oleh penonton.

Abstract

Producing and broadcasting messages and information about the Covid-19 pandemic for TV broadcasting stations is certainly not easy. This requires an editorial strategy in assigning and broadcasting news about Covid-19. TVRI (Television of the Republic of Indonesia) as a public broadcasting institution from the beginning has prioritized Covid-19 news and the government's countermeasures. TVRI responded to the situation by creating the Latest Covid-19 News Info program which initially had a purpose to provide the fastest and most complete information to the public. This prompted the author to conduct a review of the editorial strategy in the program. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Based on the analysis of the Editorial Strategy in the Production of the Latest Covid-19 News Info : (1) The main idea of the program is to pursue the speed of news or the actuality of Covid-19 information. (2) The idea is supported by the board of directors with a policy of not applying budget refocusing, supporting health financing for all news crews, as well as providing equipment to broadcast live via the internet network with a bonding cellular device connected to a camera. (3) The Latest Covid-19 Info Program is experiencing challenges; a number of crew were exposed to Covid-19, delayed in sending news from several regions to Jakarta resulting in news repetition, (4) Program’s name containing the word 'Latest' on the one hand has advantages compared to similar programs. But the consequences are even more severe because the actuality is demanded. Even if the condition of the Covid case has decreased, it is possible that the news of Covid-19 will decrease and the program name may have to be changed.

Abstract

Web application as a medium of communication and information is an important part of a shigher education institution. Website plays a strategic role in the existence of institutions in the world. The availability and speed of information will have an impact on decision making that is useful for the future. This study aims to analyze the quality of information production on the mmtc.ac.id website for the development of Animation Study Program website. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach with the PIECES and Fishbone analysis methods, namely diagram to analyze the information production on the website. The results of the study found that there were problems in the quality and quantity of information production about the Animation Study Program on the main website, the lack of website management personnel, and the absence of information managers specifically for the study program. Website managers need to develop a separate website as a of information medium for animation study program so that needs of communication and information for students and public can be fulfilled.Web application as a medium of communication and information is an important part of a shigher education institution. Abstract

A good television program is able to translate the script into pictures and sound (audio visual). In addition to creative elements, in producing television programs including music programs, one must also pay attention to the stages of production implementation/standard operating procedure (SOP). SOP for television program production includes planning, production and post-production stages. The research focuses on the application of SOP/production stages of the Band Anak Muda (BAM) music program at TVRI Riau Kepri. The BAM Music Program raises the potential of bands in Pekanbaru and its surroundings. This study aims to analyze the stages of production of BAM's music program at TVRI Riau Kepri. The analytical method used is qualitative analysis with qualitative data used are questions related to the stages of production. The results of the study find that the production stages of BAM's music program were in accordance with the standard operating procedure, which became the standard for television broadcasting. All stages of production were carried out optimally and thoroughly, evaluations were carried out for improvements in the next episode. Later when Covid-19 has passed, BAM music program can invite audience to be present at the time of production at the studio of TVRI Riau Kepri Station, in order to further build the atmosphere.

Abstract

“Simpang Kiri Jalan - Kotak Itu” is a music video work that depicts the irony happened around by raising the humanist side. The implementation of continuous editing in musical works aims to create harmony in the transfer of images and the resulting work has remained aesthetic values. Editing continuity is done through cutting by narration, cutting by rhythm, and color correction techniques. The cutting by narration technique is applied so that there is continuity in the transition between audio and video by paying attention to the lyrics as outlined in the script or the lyrics uttered by the vocalist. Cutting by rhythm is applied with the aim that the image transition in line with the music beat. This can be done by firstly learning the music that will be used and finding the right beat to do the image transition. Furthermore, color correction has a function to make the color applied in every shot has continuity between one shot and another. Overall, the music video for “Simpang Kiri Jalan – Kotak Itu” has been successfully produced and edited by applying continuous editing between transitions or image transitions that match with the lyrics and the music, and has color harmony in each shot used.

Abstract

Hastu Wijayasri is a brilliant deaf young lady from Yogyakarta, who is internationally-known as the first deaf web developer in Indonesia. Her numerous achievements lead to her being selected as one of Indonesia representative at the prestigious Google I/O web developer conference in San Francisco, USA. With her perseverance, she wants to change people’s view on her as well as the disabled community. As a member of Developer Student Club, Hastu Wijayasri successfully developed an inclusive application named SukaCare. Her success drives the author to share the story with the audience in the television documentary program “Catatan Gen-Z”. The author as the producer chooses “Catatan Gen-Z” as the program name to highlight the achievements of young Indonesian Generation Z. With the applied creativity in this production, the author wishes that the audience would not be bored and keep being entertained. The audience should not pass an educative, informative and entertaining high quality show supported by motion graphics, infographics and 3D effects.
