Abstract

The pandemic has resulted in changes learning models over the last 3 years. Offline learning models in schools have changed to online learning due to the covid-19 pandemic and after the end of the covid-19 pandemic, many schools have implemented the blended learning model. The problem faced by the school is that it is unable to determine which learning model is the most effective to develop better learning methods for students. The purpose of this study was to compare offline, online, and blended learning models to determine effective learning methods based on student subject grades using agglomerative hierarchical clustering algorithms. The results of the study found that blended learning was the most understood learning by students compared to offline and online learning models which were seen from cluster results based on the good grade predicate category show that in offline learning the average value of students in the good grade predicate is 290 students and decrease to 219 students while using online learning and an increased drastically to 362 students after implementing blended learning. While the subjects that can be understood by students using offline, online and blended learning models are the subjects of Religion, Mathematics, and Natural Science.

Abstract

The development of technology at this time causes the provision of information to increase through social media. Many social media users convey information by including digital images. Digital images are very important in conveying the accuracy of information. However, digital images often experience various disturbances, such as decreased pixel quality, less sharpness, blurring, and the appearance of noise in the image. Noise contained in the image causes a decrease in image quality. Image degradation can be caused by uneven light intensity and can also be caused by dirt adhering to the camera lens. There are various types of noise found in digital images, including Salt And Pepper Noise, Speckle Noise, and Rayleigh Noise. There are many filtering methods that can improve digital images from noise interference. Some of them are the Mean Filter method, Geometric Mean Filter, Harmonic Mean Filter, Arithmetic Mean Filter, Median Filter, Midpoint filter, Alpha Trimmed Mean Filter and so on. Based on the research conducted, the combination of the Alpha Trimmed Mean Filter and Arithmetic Mean Filter methods can reduce Salt and Pepper noise, Speckle noise and Rayleigh noise better than the Alpha Trimmed Mean Filter and Arithmetic Mean Filter methods based on the MSE, RMSE and PSNR parameters.

Abstract

Research is a process to solve problems. To solve existing problems, researchers must process data related to the problem to be solved. Data processing can be done using the SPSS application program, but the results obtained are still in the form of numerical values that must be concluded with sentences. To speed up data processing and determine conclusions, it is necessary to build an application for evaluating the influence of research variables and their impacts to help researchers, especially in the social field, to speed up in determining conclusions on evaluating the influence of research variables and their effects using the Pearson product moment method and simple linear regression. With the application that was built, the correlation coefficient of monthly money on student GPA is 0.0603 and the regression equation Y= 3.1319 + 0.0084 X , where there is an effect of student monthly money on student GPA of one hundred thousand rupiah, then the student's IP will increase by 0.0084

Abstract

Biodiesel energy is one of the alternative energies in the current era of global warming, which is needed by the community to meet renewable energy in electrical energy but is constrained by the unavailability of electricity which so far has only relied on PLN as a national electricity source. Especially the people who are in the interior who do not get electricity from PLN, while electricity has now become a primary need, which means that the community at this time must be served by electricity. Considering that Indonesia is the largest producer of palm oil in the world today, so the waste left behind is also getting bigger. This research was conducted to take advantage of this by utilizing waste, namely used cooking oil which is converted into biodiesel which will be used as fuel for Diesel Power Plants (PLTD). This research produces biodiesel B-100, which means the biodiesel is pure without a mixture of petroleum, by designing an automatic biodiesel processing device based on Arduino Mega. This study also analyzes how feasible B-100 biodiesel is for use in diesel-powered generators, by looking at the economic aspect, and of course also in the electronics aspect
