Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: fluid restriction compliance is one of the problems in patients with chronic renal failure with hemodialysis therapy. Neither compliance can lead to treatment failure that can ultimately decrease the patient's quality of life and increase morbidity and mortality. Family support is crucial in determining confidence, a treatment program that helps patients to adhere to fluid intake restrictions. Objective: To Know Relation Family Support With Compliance Fluid Restriction In Chronic Kidney Failure Patients With Hemodialysis Therapy In Jombang General Hospital.Method: The study design was cross sectional with 45 respondent sample and used consecutive sampling method. Data collection was done with quizener and observation.Results: Most family support was good (77.8%) and adherence to partial high fluid intake restriction (605). There was a significant relationship between the two variables with p: 0,000 and r: 0.542 with moderate strength and positive direction, The higher the family support the higher the compliance rate of fluid restriction.Conclusions: There was a significant association between family support and adherence to fluid intake restriction on patients with chronic renal failure with hemodialysis therapy. Keywords: family support, compliance fluid restriction

Abstract

Abstract  Thalassemia is a chronic descent disease, where clients with thalassemia will experience a continuous decrease in Hb. This condition causes thalassemia clients to undergo regular hospitalization to obtain blood transfusions. Currently, tansfusion is the best treatment of thalassemia.This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. The researcher chose the research sample with the sampling quota. Researchers perform nursing care on 2 clients thalasemia who are undergoing inpatient at RSUD Jombang.The results show that the priority problem in thalassemia clients is peripheral tissue perfusion ineffectiveness. This problem occurs because the decrease in client Hb levels that cause oxygen supply to the entire body tissue is disrupted. The examination results on both clients showed low Hb levels. Implementations performed for both clients are: observation of vital signs, including capillary refill observation (CRT), blood transfusion administration, nutrition and activity settings. The results of evaluation on clients 1 and 2 found that in addition to transfusion of nutrition and activity management is also very necessary in clients with thalassemia, so it is important that health education given to his family Keywords: nursing care, thalassemia, peripheral tissue perfusion effectiveness

Abstract

ABSTRACT Today, using Arak Jowo was really pathetic. It was very dangerous because it can lead to disruption for the perpetrators and the environment, such as unrest in the community. This research aim to determined alcohol concentration in Arak Jowo. The method used in this research was qualitative research experiment with Arak Jowo as object circulating in Ponorogo region in the period from January 2015 to April 2015. The sample was 8 bottles. The place of research in the laboratory of Akafarma Sunan Giri Ponorogo.arak jowo circulating in Ponorogo region is evidence police confiscated Ponorogo region. The sampling technique was random sampling 8 bottles of arak jowo. This research  proven that arak jowo contain alcohol class B as many as four samples: samples No.1. 17.40% ethanol content, the sample No.4.14.98% ethanol content, the sample No. 5 19.29% ethanol content, ethanol content sample No.7. 13.16%. While the other four samples including alcoholic beverages in Class C is the sample No.2.  ethanol 21.84%, sample No.3. 30.80% ethanol content, the sample No.6.23.20% ethanol content, the sample No.8. 21.28 % ethanol content. Keywords : arak jowo, alcohol, destilation

Abstract

ABSTRACTDepression in pregnant women can occur in antepartum (during pregnancy) and postpartum (after delivery). Antepartum and postpartum depression both have an effect of morbidity and mortality for pregnant women and childbirth. Some of the factors that affect antepartum depression include the age of pregnant women, education, economic perception and husband's social support. The purpose of this study was to identify the proportion of depression cases occurring in primigravida and some external variables associated with the incidence of antepartum depression. This study was Observational Analytic design with Cross Sectional approach, Subjects in the study of primigravida in health center working area Peterongan Jombang  amounted 80 respondents using consecutive sampling technique that meets the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection using questionnaire of demographic data, Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) questionnaire, social support questionnaire and indepth interview and data were analized using Chi-square test and logistic regression with significance level α≤0,05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between maternal age, education, economic perception and social support with antepartum depression (p <0.05). the most powerful variable of influence is the social support with an OR value of 0.011 (95% CI = 0.001-0.116) with a significant value of 0.000. Social support of the Husband is the dominant factor affecting the incidence of antepartum depression. Husband and family should provide support during pregnancy with attention, material and non-material support. Keywords: antepartum depression, maternal age, social support of the husband.
